Definitions
- the invention relates to a heat exchanger according to the preamble of the claim.
- the peripheral region connects to a marginal portion of the extending plate all around the set of collars.
- the object of the invention is to reduce the size of the collector plate with respect to this known embodiment.
- the invention aims in particular a heat exchanger according to claims 1 to 6.
- the subject of the invention is also a header plate according to claim 7.
- the collector plate 1 shown in the figures, produced stamped sheet metal, includes a peripheral region 2 defining an annular channel having a wall inner side 3, a bottom 4 and a side wall outer 5. This channel is used to house the peripheral edge 6 of a fluid box 7 in the form of a tank, as well as a seal sealing 8. After assembly, the free edge 9 of the wall outer 5 is folded down by crimping on the edge 6 of the fluid box to immobilize it and compress the joint 8 between the edge 6 and the bottom 4 of the channel.
- the plaque collector is shown before crimping in Figures 2 at 5.
- the heat exchanger partially illustrated in Figure 1 also includes a bundle of tubes 10 consisting of a row of tubes 11 each having a cross section oblong elongated in the width direction of the collector plate, spaced from each other, on the most of their length, by spacers 12 in the form of wavy bands.
- Each tube 11 passes through a opening 13 of corresponding shape made in the region central of the collector plate, this opening being surrounded by an inclined collar 14.
- the end of each tube opens into the interior volume 15 of the box fluid, the spacers 12 being located outside of this volume.
- the wall inner 3 of it connects to the ends of the collars 14 via a flange 16 oriented substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal direction tubes.
- the two flanges 16 form, with the bottoms of valleys 17 included between the collars 14, a plate extending substantially along a plane perpendicular to the aforementioned direction.
- the turntable is not entirely made flat, the edges 16 having a slightly wavy shape so as to limit the mechanical stresses during the manufacture of the collector plate.
- the plate does not have a rim the along the short sides of the peripheral canal, where the wall inner channel connects directly to the outer flank of the end collar of the row to form a plane single inclined 18.
- This arrangement reduces bulk of the heat exchanger in the longitudinal direction of the header plate twice the width of the flange 16.
- the inclined plane 18 is more inclined relative to the general plane of the plate than the other sides of the collars 14, which further reduces this size.
- the end collars are connected directly to the inner wall of the canal, also at their ends, according to inclined surfaces 19, so that only the intermediate collars are separated from the channel by the flanges 16.
- the inclined plane 18 may have substantially the same inclination with respect to the general plane of the platinum than the other flanks of the collars and form a dihedral obtuse with the wall 3 of the channel, perpendicular to this plane.
- Another variant provides for direct connection of the collars at the walls of the canal not over the entire width of the plate collector but over its entire length, thereby reducing the size of the heat exchanger in the direction of the width.
Description
The invention relates to a heat exchanger according to the preamble of the claim.
In the collector plate of such an exchanger known from FR 2,538,526, the peripheral region connects to a marginal portion of the extending plate all around the set of collars.
The object of the invention is to reduce the size of the collector plate with respect to this known embodiment.
L'invention vise notamment
The invention aims in particular
a heat exchanger according to
L'invention a également pour objet
une plaque collectrice selon la revendication 7. The subject of the invention is also
a header plate according to
- la figure 1 est une vue en perspective partiellement arrachée montrant une plaque collectrice selon l'invention associée à une boíte à fluide et à un faisceau de tubes;
- Figure 1 is a partially broken away perspective view showing a header plate according to the invention associated with a fluid box and a bundle of tubes;
- Figure 2 is a top view of the header plate illustrated in Figure 1; and
- Figures 3 to 5 are partial sectional views along lines III-III, IV-IV and VV of Figure 2.
à 5.The
The heat exchanger partially illustrated in Figure 1
also includes a bundle of
As is known, along each of the two long sides of the
peripheral channel 3-5 of rectangular outline, the wall
inner 3 of it connects to the ends of the
According to the invention, the plate does not have a rim the
along the short sides of the peripheral canal, where the wall
inner channel connects directly to the outer flank
of the end collar of the row to form a plane
single inclined 18. This arrangement reduces bulk
of the heat exchanger in the longitudinal direction of
the header plate twice the width of the
Another variant provides for direct connection of the collars at the walls of the canal not over the entire width of the plate collector but over its entire length, thereby reducing the size of the heat exchanger in the direction of the width.
