- the very high number of filaments in the individual thread causes very high cohesive forces in the fabric. These develop a chimney or suction effect, as a result of which this liquid, such as water and sweat, is distributed very well in the tissue or is transported through the tissue. If if the fabric in the warp is adjusted more than in the weft direction, this means that the effective cohesive forces in the warp direction are stronger than in the weft direction, with the result that a liquid distribution in the warp direction is accelerated. - the fabric is treated with heat for a longer period without tension. Another very high shrinkage occurs, which compresses and pre-fixes the tissue.
- the goods are then dried and fixed without tension. Here too, the tissue can relax and shrink further.
- the tension-free fixation characterizes the character of the goods, which then corresponds to a pure silk fabric in terms of grip, strength and lightness, softness and flowability, whereby the polyester microfiber materials are considerably cheaper than silk.
- the flow behavior of the fabric is also very similar to a silk fabric, and with a thickness of approx. 110 my +/- 15% (depending on the setting), it also corresponds to silk fabrics and it is not necessary for the fabric to achieve the necessary density of mechanical calendering and finishing to undergo.
- the material has a slightly crepe-like character, it is boil-proof and can be tumble dried without changing its quality or dimensions or losing its useful properties.

- the fabric can be designed in various weaves, preferably plain weave or twill weave, whereby the weft thread can be made single or double.
- the properties of the fabric are changed again by the twill or satin weave. Softness and feel are improved, the density is reduced and the air permeability is increased, so that in connection with cooking resistance, suitability for drying. Long service life and high tensile strength, the fabric can be adapted to the desired parameters for the intended purposes such as hospital linen, surgical underwear and clean room clothing.
Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a dense fine fabric made of microfibers and its use.
Known such fine fabrics have a weight of 85 g / m2 and more. These tissues press e.g. for bedding and inlets the filling material is more closely together, is not very supple and down-proof. The water transport capacity is limited. Even heavier fabrics had to be finished with a finishing and calendering after weaving, whereby the quality of the fabrics lost considerably in softness, flowability and moisture transport. As a result, the use or wearing comfort was restricted. Furthermore, it is necessary that the fabric is constructed to be sufficiently stable so that it is reliably avoided that particles become detached during use and the intended use - e.g. with surgical underwear or clean room clothing.
It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a fabric of the type mentioned at the outset which can be adjusted down and fiber-tight in the range from 45 to 70 g / m 2, has a selectable air permeability of 5 to 100 l / dm 2 × min and that exceeds the previously known microfibers in fineness, softness and lightness and is inexpensive to manufacture.
This object is achieved in that the warp with 45-70 threads in plain weave, 55-80 threads in twill weave, 80-120 threads per centimeter in satin weave and 45 to 80 threads per centimeter in the weft, the threads each have a filament number of 75 and more, with a single titer of less than 0.6 dtex.
The very high number of filaments in the individual thread causes very high cohesive forces in the fabric. The denser the fabric is set, the better the moisture transport capacity in the fabric is accelerated.
The fabric is characterized by 100% recyclability, in combination with the diverse polyester filling materials for quilts and down comforters. It is of high durability and firmness. Conversely, the high absorbency also means that it dries quickly. Lightness and drying capacity significantly reduce the washing costs (energy consumption and time) compared to conventional fabrics.
Especially when using this fabric for quilts and down blankets, it should be emphasized that the blankets with polyester filling are particularly suitable for allergy sufferers due to their fully washability.
Due to the construction of the fabric, even the smallest particles (below 1 µm) can be retained. This is particularly beneficial for allergy sufferers. The fiber used is also not suitable for alveoli, i.e. H. should fiber particles become detached and are inhaled by allergy sufferers, they excrete them through the respiratory system.
The above Special features allow that these fabrics in different air permeability levels are also suitable for fine dust filters.
Further details of the invention result from the following detailed description, in which various embodiments of the invention are shown for example.
The warp of the fabric is set at 45 to 70 for plain weave, with 55 - 80 for twill weave, but preferably 50 threads per centimeter for satin weave with 80 - 120, the weft can consist of 45 to 80 threads per centimeter, all threads having a number of filaments of 75 and more, so that an extremely fine fabric structure is created. The chains are warped and sized, the chain being taut during the manufacture of the fabric in order to achieve the required weft density after relaxation. The finishing of the fabric is similar to that of the silk. The fabric is treated with heat for a longer period without tension. Another very high shrinkage occurs, which compresses and pre-fixes the tissue. The goods are then dried and fixed without tension. Here too, the tissue can relax and shrink further. The tension-free fixation characterizes the character of the goods, which then corresponds to a pure silk fabric in terms of grip, strength and lightness, softness and flowability, whereby the polyester microfiber materials are considerably cheaper than silk. The material has a slightly crepe-like character, it is boil-proof and can be tumble dried without changing its quality or dimensions or losing its useful properties.
The theoretically calculated down density of the fabric is between 40 and 50% according to Walz and between 50 and 60% according to Trauter.
The practical down density of the fabric according to the stump is given.
The water absorption capacity exceeds 65% of the own weight of the fine tissue. The residual moisture of a 100 cm 2 fine tissue sample is below 15% after one minute of exposure at 100 ° C in a drying oven.
The fabric can be designed in various weaves, preferably plain weave or twill weave, whereby the weft thread can be made single or double.
The properties of the fabric are changed again by the twill or satin weave.
The above-mentioned properties such as fine dust particle retention, high moisture transport, high tear resistance and the property that fiber particles are not suitable for alveoli make this dense fine tissue ideal for the above-mentioned purposes.
To produce a down-proof fabric, the use of textured microfiber has given the best results. Fabrics with smooth microfibers are more advantageous for other uses - surgical linen, clean room clothing, etc.
