Abstract

From DE 94 01 383 Ul it is known to provide a relatively high pocket in a ring binding with a six- or axis-sided cover on the rear cover part, into which a CD with plastic box or a music cassette with plastic ox can be inserted. Such a pocket is not flat enough to be provided on any intermediate sheet of a ring binding and is particularly unsuitable for perfect binding.

The object of the present invention is a one-piece blank sheet, in particular made of paper or cardboard, for a flat pocket for holding a computer diskette, a compact disc or the like. for use in a binding and moreover to create a correspondingly designed binding which is suitable for holding such flat disks and CDs without a fixed plastic box.

To achieve this object are in a one-piece blank sheet of the type mentioned the features specified in claim 1 or in claim 2 and in a binding of the type provided the features specified in claim 32.

The one-piece blank sheet can not only be manufactured in a very simple and inexpensive manner, i.e. be punched, but also folded and glued to the corresponding flat bag. A ring or adhesive binding or stitch stitching provided therewith can advantageously be provided with appropriate flat pockets on any intermediate sheets, on the front and / or back sheet of the envelope, without this disturbing the overall appearance and handling of the binding.

Depending on whether the one-piece blank sheet is made of paper or cardboard, the cover line is formed as a groove or as a scoring line. If the one-piece blank sheet is used for an adhesive connection, the features can be provided according to claim 4, which results in easier folding, the perforation line being eliminated when the adhesive binding block is cut.

According to a first variant of the present invention, the features are provided in accordance with claim 5, which means that the corresponding intermediate sheet produced therefrom is created by the fact that the sheet base part and the cover part are glued to one another in all areas except in the area between the two parallel groove lines. This results in a relatively stable interleaf. Advantageously, the features are provided according to claim 6, so that with the provision of the cut results in a tongue on the cover part, which is glued to the sheet base part in the folded state of the blank, which leads to an improved Insertion opening or slot for the floppy disk, CD or the like.

In another variant of the present invention, the features are provided according to claim 7. This variant is particularly useful where the blank is made of thick paper or cardboard, so that it is not necessary to reinforce the base part of the sheet in the binding area by the cover part. Advantageously, less material is required in this variant.

With the features according to claim 8 it is achieved that the groove lines also serve as glue boundary lines, so that glue is prevented from flowing into the area of the pocket or being pressed.

In particular in the case of cut sheets for perfect bindings, it is advantageous if the features are provided in accordance with claim 9. The transverse groove line can again serve as a glue boundary line, since the intermediate sheet is glued between these transverse groove lines and the cover line.

With the features according to claim 10 it is achieved that the pocket extends to the envelope line.

In the above-described exemplary embodiments, the flat pocket is expanded by material displacement when accommodating diskettes, CD's or the like. This material displacement can expediently be supported or its appearance concealed if the features are provided according to claim 11. The pocket is then prepared all around by further parallel groove lines for further "inflation". According to the features of claim 12 and claim 13, corresponding cutout shapes can be provided in accordance with the shape of the diskette or the CD.

With the features according to claim 14 it is achieved that the disk, CD or the like. Can be removed from the pocket in a simple manner, since the intermediate sheet formed from the blank sheet, when it is gripped from its fold line, pivots about this further groove line can be, so that the floppy disk or CD at its end protruding from the pocket is inclined with respect to the region of the sheet base which faces the binding side. If the features are provided according to claim 18, a pocket can be provided on two opposite intermediate sheets or on the front and back sheets of the envelope. Suitably opposite pockets of this type are expediently of the same design.

With the features according to claim 21, a pocket can be achieved, the width of which corresponds to the corresponding longitudinal edge dimension of the arch base. If the features are provided according to claim 22, the arch base is provided with two or more pockets.

For better removal of the floppy disk or compact disc in question, it is advantageous if the features according to Claim 23 are provided. According to the features of claim 24 or 25 corresponding cutouts can be provided according to the shape of the disk or compact disc.

If the features are provided according to claim 26, it is possible to let the pocket end in front of the free edge of the base part of the arch. This is particularly advantageous in connection with perfect binding.

With the features according to claim 27, further protection, in particular of compact discs, is advantageously achieved. It is useful if the features are provided according to claim 28.

If the features are provided according to claim 29, a pocket can be provided on each of two opposite intermediate sheets. Suitably opposite pockets of this type are expediently of the same design.

If the features are provided according to claim 31, each insert sheet can be gripped mechanically on the pre-fold when producing a saddle stitch.

The execution of the intermediate sheet by folding or folding the blank sheet can be provided in a ring or adhesive binding according to the features of claim 32 or claim 34.

In an embodiment of the present invention, not shown, the height of the sheet base 16 and the cover part 18 is such that two or more pockets 12 can be accommodated one above the other along the height of the insert sheet 11.
