Claims (4)

  1. A plant for manufacturing packages for cut and sliced food products or the like by means of a slicing machine (10) for continuously cutting the product (14) into slices (15), said slices being deposited one by one onto a transport device (11) by said slicing machine (10) and said transport device feeding the slices to a roller-up mechanism (1) from which the rolled-up slices (16) may be conveyed into a package (13) so as to be at least partially arranged next to each other, with said roller-up mechanism (1) comprising a roller-up mandrel (21) capable of rotating around an axis (35) and made up of four rods (32) arranged parallel to each other and at the same distance from the axis (35) and with the sliced food product (15) capable of being inserted between two adjacent rods (32) by the transport mechanism in an approximately radial direction with respect to the axis (35).
