Description

The invention relates to an electric motor Vacuum cleaner with a telescopic handle, which has a handle.

Such vacuum cleaners are widely known (see FR-A-2 025 832). With The handle can be lifted using the telescopic handle brought to an ergonomically convenient height will. For this purpose, the telescopic handle Mostly several rest positions, at the push of a button can be solved. Furthermore, it is known such a handle on a locking button detach from the vacuum cleaner to the device handle to be able to use for another device. The Arrangement of the handle on the free end of a telescopic The handle of the tool points at various jobs Disadvantages. For example, at ground level Work a cumbersome fiddling with the vacuum cleaner given. Even when vacuuming upholstery or the like in this case with a suction hose provided vacuum cleaner to handle very cumbersome.

The object of the present invention is a generic Vacuum cleaner less expensive to handle to design.

This task is solved by the main claim specified invention.

As a result of such a configuration is a generic Vacuum cleaner easier to handle. This is particularly so solved in that the handle is removable and between a telescope center piece and a device-side Anchoring the handle is attachable. At work close to the ground or when vacuuming upholstery or The handle of the device handle can now do the same removed and at another point on the handle be attached. This is preferably done in Area of entry of the handle into the motor housing of the vacuum cleaner. This is one on the vacuum cleaner-related arrangement close to the center of gravity given the handle, which is particularly in handling Regards as an advantage. A such an arrangement can be such that the handle is between a telescopic center piece and an anchoring of the handle on the device side located. For this purpose, a Locking button of the telescopic handle extended, after which the handle in the thus formed Free space between the telescopic center piece and the device side Anchoring of the device handle used becomes. It is also conceivable that after positioning of the handle in the specified area the telescope center piece back towards anchoring the Device handle is moved back, here one Locking between the handle and the telescopic center piece he follows. This locking is also by means of a lock button releasable. The handle is thus positive in the area near the center of gravity of the vacuum cleaner arranged. Especially when vacuuming Upholstery, here the vacuum cleaner for example is provided with a suction hose is one Arrangement of the handle ergonomically special Advantage, because the vacuum cleaner is often worn here will and thus the arrangement of the handle in The center of gravity of the vacuum cleaner has a favorable effect. Advantageously, the handle at one end of the Device handle can be arranged. This arrangement is special in the usual vacuuming of carpets or the like advantageous. Again, the handle is over a rest at the end of the handle, which rest is released by means of a locking button can be. In a known manner, the telescopic Equipment handle to be cut to an ergonomically optimal Allow adaptation to the user's height. The handle designed in this way can by means of Locking button released from the end of the handle and as described above in a position close to the center of gravity be attached to the handle. To be particularly advantageous it turns out here that the device handle has a fixed base rod on which the Telescopic center piece is slidable. When moving of the telescope centerpiece is between the telescope centerpiece and the anchoring of the handle or a free space is formed in the base rod of the handle, in which the handle can be used. Here can also be a positive connection of the handle be formed with the base rod of the tool handle. In an advantageous development it is provided that the power supply via a running into the handle Cable is done. In conjunction with one in the handle arranged on / off switch this means a advantageous handling of the vacuum cleaner. This Design is further optimized in that the handle has at least one plug-like pin has a line connection to the telescope centerpiece. The power supply is via the the power supply and the on / off switch Handle and that over the plug-like pin with the Given handle connected telescopic centerpiece, being the telescopic centerpiece cable loops or the like has, which by the device handle base rod in the motor housing are guided. This is in everyone length of the telescopic handle the power supply of the motor of the vacuum cleaner guaranteed. This advantageously indicates Telescopic center piece on both ends for the plug-like pin. It is therefore both with the arrangement of the handle at the end of the handle as well as in the arrangement between the telescope center piece and the anchoring of the device Device handle ensures a closing of the circuit. Here, the handle can be used, for example two plug-like pins and the telescopic center piece on both ends with two corresponding ones Recordings should be provided, similar to a connector coupling arrangement. For a safe arrangement of the handle both on one and on the other end to manufacture the telescopic centerpiece is provided that the handle has a connecting flange which is also the plug-like pin, and that the connecting flange with respect to the longitudinal extent of the handle is arranged off-center. The handle can be designed so that this parallel, axially offset, to the handle is arranged, the connecting flange of the handle sits in an extension of the handle. This connecting flange can also have a recess have which the outer contour of the base rod corresponds to the handle of the device. Here, a fork-shaped Formation of the connecting flange is an advantage be. It is conceivable to make the fork arms slightly springy, where when placing the handle on the Basic bar, which when telescoping the handle in the area between the telescope center piece and the Anchorage of the device handle exposed on the device side the handle is clipped on, which is already here there is a positive connection. Then the telescope center piece with the handle, as already described, locked, with the associated plug-like Pin enters the corresponding receptacle, so get an optimal form fit. It is after all still advantageous that the off-center arrangement in such a way it is envisaged that only a small lengthwise coverage between the handle and the telescopic centerpiece is formed. The training is such that the handle is in the range of low length Cover with the telescopic center piece on the outer wall supports the center piece. The one in the longitudinal direction seen, much larger part of the handle cantilever with the arrangement of the handle at the end of the handle beyond this, what an extension of the Device handle means. When arranging the handle in the area between the telescope center piece and the anchoring of the handle on the device side is supported the part projecting in the position described above of the handle now on the motor housing or the like from.

The motor fan is drawn not reproduced in detail.

The motor housing 7 goes into a pipe coupling on the underside 9 over which the air flow connection to a suction nozzle 10 manufactures.

With regard to the suction nozzle 10, it can be a so-called Suction / brush nozzle act, the one in the nozzle mouth Brush roller contains a separate drive is set in rotation.

The device handle 3 is telescopic, wherein the device handle 3 has a fixed base rod 11, on which a telescopic centerpiece 12 after Operation of a locking button 13 is displaceable. The base rod 11 has on the housing 2 assigned End an anchor 14, which in the housing 2nd can be snapped into place. This latching can also be done by means of a Button 15 can be released, with which the entire handle 3 can be removed from the vacuum cleaner 1.

On the two end faces 16, 17 of the telescopic center piece 12 are two in the longitudinal extension of the handle 3 aligned, cylindrically shaped receptacles 18 provided. These recordings 18 are used for power supply, the receptacles 18 being electrically above inside the telescopic handle 3 arranged, Cable loops, not shown, with the in the motor housing 7 arranged motor are connected. These cable loops extend from the recordings 18, the Basic rod 11 penetrating into the motor housing 7. The receptacles 18 form a coupling for receiving a handle-side connector.

The handle 4 is closed, as in particular in FIG recognize essentially as a halved hexagon shaped and has a correspondingly shaped penetration 19 for improved handling. The cross section of the handle thus formed is essentially circular design. In the one accessible by the thumb front end area of the handle 4 is the already mentioned on / off switch 5 housed.

Said end face always points in the direction of the Handle 3 or on the telescopic centerpiece 12. On the bottom 20 facing the handle 3 is the Handle 4 integrally formed a connecting flange 21. This is fork-shaped and points in the transverse direction Length extension of the handle 4 a larger width on than the handle 4 in its grip area, whereby the width of the connecting flange 21 in turn Width of the telescopic center piece 12 corresponds. Also corresponds to the outer contour of the connecting flange 21 that of the telescopic centerpiece 12. The fork shape of the connecting flange 21 formed tube holder 22 has the same width as the base rod 11. In Area of the fork arms 23, 24 of the connecting flange 21 a plug-like pin 25 is assigned to each of these. These pins 25 point in the direction of the Handle 4 to be provided telescopic centerpiece 12, wherein the pin 25 with the electrical cable connection 6 over the On / off switch 5 are connected.

The arrangement of the connecting flange 21 on the handle 4 is made such that the connecting flange 21 with regard to the longitudinal extension of the handle 4 is arranged off-center. In the embodiment shown is the arrangement made so that the Connecting flange 21 off-center, in the direction of Connection point to the telescopic centerpiece 12 tending towards is arranged. This results in a low one length overlap a between the handle 4 and the telescopic centerpiece 12, the ratio of the overlap length a to the total length b of the handle 4 corresponds approximately to 1:12.

The handle 4 is in the overlap area a its underside 20 is provided with a locking cam 26. This is used to lock the handle 4 on the Telescopic centerpiece 12, the latter for unlocking a corresponding locking button 27 both in Area of one end as well as the area of the other of the telescopic center piece 12.

Is the vacuum cleaner 1 in a conventional manner Suction of carpets or the like used, so the handle 4 at the free end of the handle 3 arranged. For this purpose, the handle 4 on the End face 16 of the telescopic center piece 12 placed, the connecting flange 21 on the end face 16 hangs up. Here, the pins 25 enter the corresponding Recordings 18 of the telescopic centerpiece 12, with which the electrical connection of the in the motor housing 7th arranged motor is given. The locking cam also snaps 26 in a corresponding recess on the top of the telescopic centerpiece 12, the Handle 4 in the area of its overlap a accordingly supported on the top of the telescopic centerpiece 12. In the exemplary embodiment shown here, the much larger part, namely in the longitudinal extension of the Handle 4 seen ten twelfths of handle 4, beyond the end of the handle 3, with which the latter is extended by the handle 4. For improved The telescopic centerpiece 12 can now be handled on the base rod 11 after unlocking by means of Lock button 13 are moved to a handling To achieve improvement.

For example, to work close to the ground or to vacuum of upholstery or the like, it is expedient, the handle 4 from the free end of the To remove the handle 3 and move it. this happens in the simplest way after pressing the lock button 27 on the telescopic centerpiece 12, with which the Handle 4 is removable. First the telescopic handle 3 is lengthened, by the telescopic center piece 12 on the base rod 11 after unlocking with the locking button 13 from the anchor 14 is pulled away. Here is a Free space between the end face 17 of the telescopic center piece 12 and the anchor 14 formed, which Free space is penetrated by the base rod 11. in the The area of this free space is now the handle 4 in an opposite position when arranged at the end of the Tool handle 3 introduced by 180 °, the fork arms 23, 24 of the connecting flange 21st grasp the base rod 11. It is also conceivable form the fork arms 23, 24 resilient, with what Behind the handle can be formed to a positive fit between the connecting flange 21 and the base rod 11 to achieve. Thereafter, the handle 4 in the area of its connecting flange 21 on the base rod 11 in Direction to the end face 17 of the telescopic center piece 12 moved until the pin 25 in the corresponding Recordings 18 enter and the locking cam 26 in the corresponding recess of the telescopic center piece 12 retracts (see Figure 4). Finally, the telescopic centerpiece 12 back together with the handle moved towards the anchor 14, wherein in this position, the telescopic centerpiece 12 with the Basic rod 11 locked. Here again is the electrical connection of the motor to the cable connection 6 given.

The handle 4 thus arranged is now in one favorable range close to the center of gravity of the motor housing 2, with which an optimized handling of the vacuum cleaner 1 is given for work close to the ground or the like.
