Abstract

The equipment has an operating device to start a full or partial flushing process from a toilet cistern, by lifting a valve member (7) from an outlet fitting (1). The member may be lifted along with a weight (13), which acts on the member against the buoyancy of a float (8), in order to close the valve early. A coupling device is arranged between the weight and the member, and has a switching element (20) mounted in the lower region of the weight. When the member is lifted by a pulling element (26), the switching element, which may be a pawl (19), automatically connects with the member.

Description

The invention relates to a drain set and a flushing device in a toilet cistern according to the preamble of the claim 3rd

Flushing devices and drain fittings of this type are known and enable considerable savings in rinse water. At a widespread use of such flushing devices and drain sets there is therefore a strong public interest. The flushing devices that have become known and used in practice are usually very expensive and constructive consist of many individual parts. EP-A-0 715 033 constitutes a earlier right under Article 54 (3) EPC and discloses a drain set in a flushing device for a toilet. With this waste set in the case of partial rinsing, the weight body, which loads the valve body for premature closing of the valve is to be raised with a pull rod 3, which has a coupling member 1 is coupled to the weight body. The pull rod 3 and the coupling member 1 are not part of the weight body. EP-A-0 448 092 shows a drain set and a flushing device, in which the valve body with in the rest position a weight body is connected. In the case of a full flush the weight body is separated from the valve body. In the case of one Partial rinsing, however, becomes the weight body with the valve body raised.

The German utility model DE-U-92 15 972 shows one Drain fitting, which also enables full or partial flushing. This works with an auxiliary valve and an additional auxiliary valve as well as a relief chamber and is also very elaborately designed.

Finally, DE-A-36 18 671 shows a flushing device in a toilet cistern with which to trigger a partial flush when lifting the valve body by means of a control member carried a weight supported on the float housing becomes.

The invention has for its object a flushing device as well as creating a pop-up waste that makes it easier Enable construction and a more cost-effective execution.

Eine erfindungsgemässe Spüleinrichtung ergibt sich aus Anspruch 3.The task is with a generic waste set solved according to claim 1. A flushing device according to the invention results from claim 3.

With the drain fitting according to the invention, its Housing used to control the switching element. The valve body takes on an additional task. The switching element can thus be arranged so deep in a cistern be that when the cistern is full in the Rinse water is located and therefore less against limescale is vulnerable. This can make operational safety essential be improved. The switching element can be largely integrate in the housing of the waste set, so that a very compact structure can be realized. This is especially with a so-called concealed cistern Extremely advantageous, as in such an area above all Area very little space is available.

A structurally particularly simple and reliable Structure is achieved when in the inventive Flushing device, the switching element or the connecting element that a very compact structure can be realized. This is especially with a so-called concealed cistern Extremely advantageous, as in such an area above all Area very little space is available.

A structurally particularly simple and reliable Structure is achieved when in the inventive Flushing device, the switching element or the connecting element has a jack. This can then in particular from the housing the waste set to be controlled when lifting of the weight body to latch it onto the valve body. The valve body can then be used to trigger a partial flush be lifted directly on the weight body. The weight body is according to a development of the invention with an arm protruding upwards, into the one Pull element engages. This tension element can be a swivel lever be who has a button that can be operated from the outside. When the button is pressed, the pull element then engages directly on Weight body to lift it. The valve pipe will taken with the weight body. When you release the button the weight body rests on the valve body and forces this before the cistern is completely emptied early on the seat of the drain valve.

To lift the valve body is according to a training the invention arranged a stop on the weight body, that is operatively connected to the valve body around it to raise.

According to a development of the invention, the lid is the Drain fitting rotatably mounted on the housing of the drain fitting has the advantage that the waste set in each Rotary position can be mounted. This will make an automatic Installation of the flushing device or the waste set much simplified.

Further advantageous features result from the dependent ones Claims, the description below and the drawing.

As FIG. 1 shows, a float housing 4 is a waste set 1 on an outlet connection 5 in an opening 3 a cistern 2 attached. To operate the pop-up waste 1 is in an upper region, not shown here of the cistern 2 an actuating device shown schematically in Figure 3 33 arranged. This has two tension elements 26 and 27, which are preferably independent of one another pivotable on a web 28 of the cistern or the Cistern lid are stored. These elements 26 and 27 have at one end a button 29 and 30, respectively are accessible from the outside and to trigger a flush are usually operated by hand. The tension element 26 is in an eyelet at the end opposite the button 29 14 of a weight body 13 used. When pressing the Key 29, the weight body 13 is raised. The other Traction element 27 engages with the button 30 opposite End in an eyelet 24 of a valve body 7, which here is designed as an overflow pipe. When pressing button 30 the valve body 7 is raised. For lifting the weight body 13 and the valve body 7 can the tension elements 26 and 27 also, for example, by means of a push button, as is usual with ceramic cisterns become. Other actuating devices are also conceivable, with which either the weight body 13 or the valve body 7 can be raised.

When lifting the valve body 7 with the tension element 27 a plate arranged on the lower body of the valve body 7 9 raised from a valve seat 10 of the drain fitting 1. Water present in the cistern 2 can then pass through Window 6 of the housing 4 through the nozzle 5 in one here Flow toilet bowl, not shown. The raised valve body 7 is known per se by the float 8 Way kept floating until the cistern essentially is completely empty. By pressing button 30 a so-called full flush is triggered. The weight body 13 is not involved in this. The valve body 7 is composed of a lower part 38 and one this snapped upper tubular part 25. The part 25 forms an extension of the valve body 7 and can to adapt to the height of the cistern by such be replaced with a different length. Part 25 is with two molded locking tongues 25a on the lower part 38 releasably snapped on.

The key 29 is actuated to trigger a partial rinse and thus the weight body 13 is raised. This body 13 is on at its lower end with molded stilts 17 a cover 12 of the housing 4 is supported and on the valve body 7 slidably guided. A container 16 open at the top is filled with water 34, which is partially emptied Cistern forms an additional weight. Below the Container 16, the stilts 17 are formed, the at a distance from each other and protrude downwards. As FIGS. 5 and 7 show, there is 17 on each of the stilts a transverse wall 17a is formed, which reinforce the stilts 17 and the weight body 13 on the valve tube 7 stabilize. A lid set down 12, which can be rotated on the housing 4 with a latching connection 31 attached, carries the weight body 13, which on a Top 12a of this part 12 is turned off.

The lid 12 is provided with an opening 12b into which an arm 21 of a pawl 20 engages. This jack is 20 is pivotally mounted on a bearing 18 shown in FIG and forms a connection or switching element. The jack 20 is designed as a one-armed lever, as can be seen is pivotally mounted at its upper end. One below the pivot axis S arranged radially outward Nose 20a is placed on top 12a and holds the arm 21 in the position shown in Figure 1. The Pawl 20 is detachable into a latching opening 18a (FIG. 8) Stilt 17 snapped into place.

Is the weight body 13 to trigger a partial rinse raised, the valve body 7 is simultaneously through the system of at least one molded on the valve body 7 Web 32 on the laterally projecting bottom 25b one Locking tongue 25a also raised at the same time. The about on pawl 20 attached to the lower end of the weight body 13 is lifted off the lid 12 at the same time, with an edge 12c engages with the arm 21 and this arm 21 in the direction of arrow 36 towards the valve body 7 panned. A shoulder 22 of the arm 21 thereby becomes radial moved inwards into a position in which this over an outwardly projecting shoulder 23 lies. this is the stable position of the pawl 20, the weight body raised 13 is maintained. As with a full flush the valve disk 9 is lifted off the valve seat 10 and thus the flush is triggered. By the float 8 in turn exerted a buoyancy force on the valve body 7. The weight body 13 is increasing with sinking rinse water level 37 heavier. By lying on the shoulder 23 Jack 20 weighs the increasingly larger weight of the Weight body 13 on the valve body 7. The weight body 13 is designed so that it is comparatively shortly after the flush is triggered, the buoyancy of the float 8 overcomes and the valve body 7 before completely flushing the cistern 2 to the Valve seat 10 forces and thus interrupts the flushing. At this closing movement hits the nose 20a of the pawl 20 onto the surface 12a and swings the arm 21 back in the position shown in Figure 1, in which the paragraph 22nd is located radially next to the shoulder 23 and thus the Valve body 7 for triggering a full flush without a weight body 13 can be raised. After completing the Flushing the cistern in a known manner by Inlet valve, not shown here, back to the one in FIG 1 indicated level 37 filled. The rinsing device is ready for an optional partial or full flush.

The embodiment according to FIG. 2 is similar to that according to FIG Figure 1 constructed and works similarly. she is however less high and for a surface-mounted cistern intended. The actuator can be the same as that Device 33 shown in Figure 3 may be formed. The Pulling element 26 is then connected to a weight body 113, on which an upwardly projecting arm 115 is formed. Above a container 116, which is when the cistern is full 102 is located below the rinse water level 37 is a Web 141 integrally formed on a projection 140 of a valve body 107 forms a stop. When lifting of the weight body 113 with the tension element 26 at the same time the valve body 107 is raised. The one Top 111a of a lid 111 resting nose 120a one Pawl 120 is lifted off the cover 111, after which the Arm 121 is pivoted in the direction of arrow 136 and this the weight body 113 with the valve body raised 107 is supported on a shoulder 123. The shoulder is 123 as in the embodiment according to FIG. 1 inside the housing 104 arranged. The lid 111 is like the lid 12 with a locking device 131 rotatably attached to the housing 104. The locking device 131 is designed so that the Cover 111 is freely rotatable on the housing 104. this applies also for the cover 12. The weight body 113 is thus in any position rotatable about the axis A of the valve body 107 and can thereby be aligned precisely with the tension element 26 become. An embodiment is also conceivable in which the Function of the web 141 taken over by the pawl 120 becomes. An embodiment in which a Another switching element is provided, which has the function of web 141 takes over. As can be seen, the valve body 107 largely trained as usual and not by any switching elements or other parts which his weight would increase. The buoyancy of the Float 108 can be minimal and the float housing 104 be designed to be correspondingly slim. This is particularly so essential for narrow concealed cisterns.
