Claims (10)

  1. Support strut, having a vertically arranged profiled rod (2) on whose lower end (2a) is fitted an adjustable height foot (4) which has a threaded spindle (9) on a footstep bearing (7) and whose upper end has a support surface (5) for supporting, in particular, a bath tub or shower basin (6), characterised in that the footstep bearing (7) has a bearing element (8) pushed onto the lower end (2a) of the profiled rod (2), which bearing element (8) - together with a threaded nut (14) rotatably supported on it and the threaded spindle (9) screwed into the threaded nut (14) - forms an adjustment unit (10).
  2. Support strut according to Claim 1, characterised in that the bearing element (8) has tabs (11) directed upwards and the profiled rod (2) has corners (12) in which the tabs (11) engage and are firmly clamped.
  3. Support strut according to Claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the profiled rod (2) has at least three, preferably four, corners (12) which each form a channel (13) extending in the longitudinal direction of the profiled rod (2).
