Abstract

A circuit having nearly equally halves inputted electric power in such a way that the difference between the phases of the two outputs is 90 DEG . The outputs are fed to a first exciter which generates a circularly polarized wave. The wave is inputted into a second exciter, and the two outputs of which is combined in a synthesizing circuit. The opened ends of a shield case housing the first exciter and another shield case housing the second exciter are fitted together, and the first and second exciters, together with the cases, can be rotated relatively around the axis of the exciters. The phase difference between the input of the halving circuit and the output of the synthesizing circuit changes with the relative rotational angle between the first and second exciters.
