Claims (10)

  1. Deckelfaß aus Metall, umfassend
    - einen zylindrisch geformten Mantel, der die Seitenwand (1) des Fasses bildet und in seinem oberen Teil in einem gerollten Rand endet (3), der die Öffnung des Fasses abgrenzt und auf der Peripherie unter diesen, gerollten Rand (3) eine Rille (6) aufweist, deren konkaver Teil zur Außenseite des Mantels gerichtet ist;
    - einen im wesentlichen kreisförmigen Deckel (8), der geeignet ist, sich auf den oberen Rand des Mantels einzupassen, wobei der Deckel der Peripherie entlang eine Vertiefung (9) bildet, deren Öffnung nach unten gerichtet ist und in welche der obere Rand des Mantels eingelegt werden kann, wobei die am weitesten vom Mittelpunkt des Deckels (8) entfernte Seite (11) dieser Vertiefung die Form eines zylindrischen Kranzes (11) aufweist, dessen Rand nach unten gerichtet ist und den äußeren Rand des Deckels (8) bildet; der Boden der Vertiefung ist mit einer Dichtungsfuge versehen;
    - ein Spannband aus einem aufgeschnittenen Ring (12), das geeignet ist, den Deckel (8) auf dem Mantel zu halten und einen im wesentlichen C-förmigen Querschnitt hat, wobei die Öffnung des C zur Mitte des aufgeschnittenen Ringes (12) gerichtet ist; dieses Spannband umfaßt auf diese Weise obere und untere Bandstreifen, die jeweils den oberen (13) und unteren (15) Abschnitten des C-Schnitts entsprechen und die untereinander durch einen Mittelbandstreifen (14) verbunden sind, welcher dem Mittelabschnitt des C-Schnitts entspricht; wenn das Spannband (12) angelegt wird, stützt es sich durch seinen oberen Bandstreifen (13) auf den oberen Peripheriebereich des Deckels (8), während der Mittelbandstreifen (14) den zylindrischen Kranz (11) des Deckels (8) umschließt und der untere Bandstreifen (15) durch seinen freien Rand (16) in die Rille (6), die unter dem gerollten Rand des Fasses angeordnet ist, eingreift; wobei der Durchmesser des freien Rands (16) des Spannbands, wenn dieses angelegt ist, über dem Durchmesser des Bodens der Rille (6) liegt, in welche das Spannband eingreift;
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der eingerollte Rand aus einem flachen Saumbereich (3) besteht, gebildet aus einer Doppelfalte (4, 5) der Seitenwandung (1), die auf sich selbst und gegen die Außenseite des Mantels umgelegt ist, .
  2. Faß nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Saumbereich neben der Seitenwandung (1) eine innere Falte (4), die in einen freien Rand (12) des Mantels endet, und eine äußere Falte (5) aufweist, wobei die Höhe der inneren Falte (4) zwischen dem 0,5- und 0,75fachen der Höhe der äußeren Falte (5) liegt.
  3. Faß nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Stärke der Seitenwandung (1) zwischen 0,8 und 1,5 mm liegt.
  4. Faß nach einem der Ansprüche 2 und 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Breite der Vertiefung (9) des Deckels (8) zwischen dem 4,5- und 6fachen der Stärke der Seitenwandung (1) des Fasses liegt.
  5. Faß nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der äußere Kranz (11) des Deckels eine Höhe zwischen dem 0,5- und 1fachen der Höhe des Saumbereiches (3) der Seitenwandung (1) aufweist.
  6. Faß nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der untere Bandstreifen (15) und der obere Bandstreifen (13) des Spannbandes (12) zueinander parallel verlaufen.
  7. Faß nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der obere Bandstreifen (13) des Spannbandes (12) einen flachen Ring bildet, der sich senkrecht auf den mittleren Bandstreifen (14) des Spannbandes (12), das eine zylindrische Form hat, erstreckt, wobei sich der untere Bandstreifen (15) des Spannbandes (12) in einem stumpfen Winkel an den mittleren Bandstreifen (14) anschließt.
  8. Faß nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Seite der Vertiefung, die sich an der Seite des Deckels befindet, mindestens über einen Teil seiner Höhe die Form eines zylindrischen Kranzes aufweist.
  9. Faß nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Deckel einen zentralen Teil umfaßt, der durch eine kegelstumpfartige Zone mit der Innenseite der umlaufenden Vertiefung des Deckels verbunden ist.
  10. Faß nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Innenwand des Behälters mit einem Schutzfilm (20) in Form eines Beutels überzogen ist, wobei die Öffnung des Beutels (20) zwischen dem Rand der Seitenwandung (1) des Behälters und dem äußeren Kranz (11) des Deckels (8) umgeschlagen ist.
