Abstract

L'invention concerne un système d'allumage pour moteurs à combustion interne, pourvu d'un système de détection des défauts d'allumage. Ce système d'allumage comporte à cet effet des moyens permettant de détecter la tension de combustion transformée du côté primaire et d'évaluer la durée de l'étincelle et/ou la tension de combustion d'allumage de manière à ce que la comparaison s'opère avec des valeurs limites appropriées à un allumage correct. Les valeurs limites appropriées à un allumage correct sont dérivées des valeurs mesurées d'un allumage de référence. L'allumage de référence correspond à l'allumage déclenché par le potentiel d'énergie de la même bobine d'allumage.

Claims (3)

  1. Système d'allumage pour moteurs à combustion interne comprenant au moins une bobine d'allumage (11) et un interrupteur (12) commandable se trouvant en série avec l'enroulement primaire (10), ainsi qu'avec une bougie d'allumage raccordée à l'extrémité de l'enroulement secondaire, située du côté haute tension, et une prise (13) entre l'enroulement primaire et l'interrupteur (12), pour détecter la tension d'allumage transformée sur le côté primaire, ainsi qu'un circuit d'exploitation (17, 18) monté en aval et servant à comparer la tension de combustion détectée avec des valeurs limites pour une combustion correcte, système d'allumage caractérisé en ce que
    la bobine d'allumage est une bobine à double étincelle, et à chaque extrémité de l'enroulement secondaire est raccordée une bobine d'allumage (ZK1, ZK2) et les valeurs limites pour une combustion correcte sont déterminées à partir de la tension de combustion détectée d'au moins un cycle de combustion précédent.
  2. Système d'allumage selon la revendication 1,
    caractérisé en ce qu'
    on utilise un nombre prédéfinissable de valeurs passées pour la détermination des valeurs limites.
  3. Système d'allumage selon la revendication 1 ou 2,
    caractérisé en ce que
    les valeurs détectées de la tension de combustion pour la durée de brûlage de l'étincelle d'allumage et/ou la tension de brûlage de l'étincelle d'allumage peuvent s'écarter d'une valeur déterminée (T) des valeurs limites pour une combustion correcte, sans que l'allumage soit considéré comme défectueux.
