Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a method for drying a paper web in the
Preamble of
As is well known, a moist web is first formed in paper production, the then dewatered and dried to make the paper usable do. Methods can be used for this, in which a relatively large steam-heated drying cylinder is necessary. Such cylinders, their manufacture and assembly are very complex, are also called Yankee cylinders. you reach Diameters of over 5 m and are often with steam pressure in the cylinder up to 8 bar operated.
In the crepe process known per se, a scraper can be used on a Surface-adhering, dried paper web on the hot press roller during removal be upset. However, other options are also known, e.g. the uncreped Web with a dry weight of less than 95% on a separate crepe cylinder ready to dry and then crepe.
The person skilled in the art is familiar with other methods for thermal drainage, e.g. from the DE-A-37 05 241. It is a very special technology in which Steam is generated in a press nip with the help of heat, which the water from drives out the paper web, which then passes through the felts running in the press can be absorbed and removed as water, steam or condensate. In this way, some of the moisture can be effectively and quickly removed remove. Such processes are often carried out in presses with an extended gap, Called shoe presses or wide nip presses. After passing through the hot press nip the paper web becomes free and can continue to evaporate. But then suddenly it is that exposed to much lower ambient pressure, causing the vapor pressure of the overheated residual water to different depending on the type and basis weight of the web Destruction or damage, e.g. Delamination in the paper web "Flash steam" can lead. The possibilities of the procedure are therefore for certain Restricted paper types. Appropriate measures, often with considerable ones control engineering effort, an operation is ensured at which the vapor pressure is limited to a value below the ambient pressure at the end of the press nip Acceptance of a lower drainage performance.
The invention has for its object to provide a method of the type mentioned, with which a high drying performance is achieved and also a high volume Paper quality is possible.
Diese Aufgabe wird durch die Kennzeichnenden Merkmale des Anspruchs 1
gelöst.This object is achieved by the characterizing features of
Further refinements of the method are set out in the subclaims described.
Using this procedure, the specified paper types can be used with smaller ones Units are dried as before, with the particular Conditions at the exit of the web from the press nip an increase in volume of the paper can be achieved. This additional volume is generated in that a part of the in the Residual water located on the track is controlled as a result of the sudden relaxation evaporates and loosens the fiber structure of the paper web before all fiber bonds were created by hydrogen bonds. Furthermore, by the aforementioned Sudden relaxation causes the fibers to be erected on the surface a desired subjective softness, i.e. a "soft grip" can be achieved.
Another advantage is that in the press nip because of the relatively high pressure can also be worked with a relatively high temperature, which is quite fast Allows heat transfer to the paper web.
Press devices with one or more are used to carry out the method Press nips, with a short or extended press nip conceivable. A short press nip is mostly due to the pressing of rollers with hard and only slight deformable coats produced (Hartnip). An extended press nip (wide nip) can be formed in that the pressing force in the direction of the paper web movable press shoe is applied, which is an impermeable deformable endless coat carries, the shape of the press shoe is designed so that the deformable mante hugs the shape of the counter roll.
The so-called hygiene papers are produced in the sheet forming part of the paper machine in a relatively easy path. The sheet weight of such paper is between 10 and 40 g / m 2 , measured on the dry web. Values between 40 and 60 g / m 2 are considered extreme for hygienic papers, whereby it must be taken into account that an increase in the sheet weight, based on the sheet weight in the wet section of the paper machine, is achieved by a possible creping process.
The method according to the invention can then also be of good hygiene paper quality lead when working without a crepe scraper. Crepe scrapers expand the Possibility to influence the paper quality, on the other hand, are complex and can be a source of increased wear. Because of the special conditions, that prevail in the method according to the invention can volume, grip and Surface softness should be so good that the creping can be saved.
It Measures are proposed that make such a normal Papers can avoid harmful effect of delamination. Here In particular, the pressure in the last section of the To reduce the press zone to a minimum.

Reinigungsschaber 13 Stoffreste von der Walze 9.1 schematically shows an apparatus arrangement to carry out the method. The
here exaggerated thick paper web B is from a
In
As shown in FIG. 2, the method can also be carried out if the
Counter roll is not arranged below but above the shoe press. Furthermore
a decrease in the dried paper web is shown without a creping scraper. The
depends essentially on the type of paper and the process parameters. The
Press device can - as shown for example in Fig. 3 - also two press nips

auch für die anderen Anordnungen.5 and 6, in which there are two press nips which are formed by pressing two
Dryer fabrics. The one example (FIG. 5) shows schematically that the heating can also be carried out with the aid of electrical heating rods or
Fig. 7 shows the technical conditions in the press nip a little more detailed

The paper web is creped with the
erreicht.Inside the roller are a heater 10 'and a
The method for drying a voluminous paper web is particularly directed on the production of hygiene paper. Instead of a relatively large one, Steam heated drying cylinders use the moist paper web in one or more heated presses dried. Otherwise, when leaving the press nip unwanted delamination of the paper web due to sudden relaxation of the Flash vapor specifically to improve the volume and softness of the so produced Paper quality exploited. There are some arrangements for performing the proposed method according to the invention, both with short and extended press nips can be provided.
