Abstract
Description
The invention extends to a rollable cover for essentially horizontally extending surfaces of buildings, in particular glass roofs.
A cover roll is used to wind up and unwind the cover, on which the cover roll can be wound up. Fixed bearing blocks are provided for the cover roller.
The extendable ends of the cover are held in a hemming rod, the ends of which can be driven in guide rails, so that the cover is rolled off to the intended extent by means of the hemming rods, while the traction device is deflected by a front deflecting roller by 180 ° and can be wound up on the winding roller.
In accordance with a tension compensation between the cover roller and the winding roller provided on the side thereof, there is an elastic connection for the traction means.
Such a rollable cover is known for example from DE-PS 36 10 635. The cover is under extreme tension when fully retracted and fully extended. For the elastic connection between the cover roll and the take-up roll, coils of a helical spring are provided between the two rolls, which decrease in diameter as the cover unrolls and can therefore pinch the tube enclosed by them.
If the cover is increasingly rolled up to about half of the extension movement, the tension drops and then rises again, so that the warp threads of the cover, which is normally designed as a cloth, are finally overstretched, with the result that at least a smoothly stretched cover can no longer be produced is.
According to the prior art, ropes, tapes, belts, V-belts or toothed belts made of metal or organic materials that do not stretch can exist as traction means. Modifications consist in making the elastic compensation for the different winding diameters in the form of torsion springs or tension springs which act on the front hem bar. The take-up rolls are usually placed as disks on the axis of the cover roll.
In general, when the cover is unwound from the cover roll, the take-up roll is occupied by rolling up the traction means, whereby during unwinding, the cover from the cover roll becomes smaller in diameter and the diameter of the wind-up rolls becomes larger due to the winding on the take-up rolls in that the elastic connection is chosen appropriately. This is done by appropriately pretensioning the springs so that the half-extended cover does not sag. However, this has the consequence that the cover is increasingly under increasing tension when extending or retracting.
This strong tension, in particular when the retracting movement goes upwards over the half-retracted state, is not sufficient for the cover sheet, and the seams with wave-like deformations are also stretched out under the action of the forces described above.
The object of the invention is to maintain the tensile stress in the areas in which the yield strength is not exceeded with a cover of the type required as a generic type. When the cover is retracted, this connection should have the lowest possible and, in the fully rolled out state, the highest possible tension that the cover permits. To adjust the elastic connection, the length of the cover and the weight of the same must be taken into account.
The invention solves this problem by the proposals of the claims.
This ensures, at least for the first unwinding length of the cover, that the traction means has been taken over by the winding roller in the same length at least at the end of the first rotation of the cover. This means that the tension remains constant. Provided the thickness of the traction device is and coverage, on the other hand, are at most the same, there is a stretch for winding up for the first unwinding length of the take-up reel, in which no or only very low tensions occur. However, the second winding length of the traction device is already longer than the second cover length of the cover. The resulting voltage increases. In the further course of the winding or unwinding lengths, the tensile stress continues to increase, increasing linearly with the unwinding. The maximum tension is then with the cover completely unwound. These ratios are reversible, ie, exactly the same ratios result for the unwinding, namely the linearity of the tension in relation to the rolling length of the traction means.
To secure the proposed measures, the winding roller rotates with the rotation of the cover roll every time the elastic connection is used.
The invention is further illustrated by the schematic drawings.

Accordingly, the cover roll or

In Figure 3, the
