Description

La présente invention se rapporte au domaine spécifique du traitement du courrier. Elle vise plus particulièrement un mécanisme d'impression permettant de reconnaítre le transporteur de courrier à partir de l'empreinte d'affranchissement appliquée sur un article de courrier, préalablement sélectionnée par l'utilisateur de la machine à affranchir.
La demande internationale WO90/16047 montre un mécanisme d'impression avec un tambour rotatif ayant des moyens d'impression pour l'impression d'une empreinte postale sélectionnable.
L'état de la technique ne révèle à notre connaissance aucun moyen de sélection permettant à un opérateur d'identifier le transporteur par l'intermédiaire de l'empreinte d'affranchissement imprimée sur un article de courrier, en dehors de l'affectation d'une machine à affranchir particulière à chaque transporteur ou service d'acheminement.
Il est seulement connu par le brevet US 5 079 712 un système de gestion d'expédition (par bateau) de paquets pouvant être acheminés par plusieurs transporteurs.
C'est à partir de ce problème technique que la Déposante propose suivant une particularité essentielle de l'invention un marquage spécifique de chaque article de courrier en fonction du transporteur correspondant.
Il en résulte ainsi une ventilation facilitée de toutes les opérations d'affranchissement en fonction du service d'acheminement du courrier, à partir d'une machine unique de traitement de courrier. Un numéro de compte est alors attribué à chaque service d'acheminement pour éviter toute erreur de comptabilisation.
Suivant une autre particularité de l'invention, ce marquage susceptible d'être commandé par l'utilisateur de la machine à affranchir, est obtenu par tout moyen d'impression protégé, par exemple un tambour rotatif à clichés d'impression, commandé électroniquement pour l'impression d'une pluralité de marques distinctives sélectionnables.
Suivant une autre particularité, la marque spécifique est imprimée à un endroit déterminé de l'article de courrier, de préférence à proximité immédiate de l'empreinte postale complexe.
Suivant une autre particularité, le tambour d'impression imprime cette marque spécifique par l'intermédiaire d'un cliché pivotant.
Suivant une autre particularité, le tambour d'impression imprime cette marque spécifique par l'intermédiaire d'une molette d'impression.
Suivant une autre particularité, le tambour d'impression imprime cette marque spécifique par un dispositif propre de commande tel un palonnier articulé ou un arbre à cames.
D'autres particularités et avantages de l'invention ressortiront plus clairement de la description ci-jointe accompagnée de trois planches de dessins.
Les figures 1 à 8 représentent différents modes de réalisation d'un dispositif de marquage conforme à l'invention.
Les figures 9 à 16 représentent des exemples d'impressions obtenues à l'aide de ces dispositifs.
Comme représenté sur les figures 1 et 2, l'on peut utiliser un cliché pivotant 1 à deux positions correspondant à deux services différents. L'impression obtenue est représentée sur les figures 9 et 10. Cette solution permet deux choix, quelle que soit la hauteur, dans la zone en pointillés. Le marquage est représenté par la lettre L ou P.
Comme représenté sur la figure 3, l'on peut insérer une molette d'impression 2 permettant de spécifier autant de services postaux que de pavés d'impression implantables. L'impression obtenue est représentée sur la figure 11. Cette solution permet cinq à neuf choix pour le marquage symbolisé par la lettre X.
Comme représenté sur la figure 4, une molette d'impression 3 ou 4 peut être disposée adjacente aux molettes valeurs 5 permettant de spécifier autant de services postaux que de pavés d'impression implantables. Cette molette peut être disposée au 1er ou au 4e rang pour un ensemble de trois molettes valeurs, au 1er ou 5e rang pour un ensemble de quatre molettes valeurs, au 1er ou 6e rang pour un ensemble de cinq molettes valeurs... L'impression obtenue est représentée sur les figures 12 et 13. Cette solution permet cinq à neuf choix dans chaque cas.
Selon un autre mode de réalisation représenté sur la figure 5, un agencement 6 à cinq pans dit penta permet de spécifier cinq services postaux différents. Une impression obtenue est représentée sur la figure 14. Cette solution permet cinq choix pour le marquage symbolisé par la lettre X.
Il est également possible de réaliser une commande spécifique.
Comme représenté sur la figure 6, un palonnier 7 est articulé sur l'axe 8 des molettes et actionné par un pignon, au même titre que les molettes, et permet d'imprimer soit au-dessus soit en-dessous de la valeur d'affranchissement à l'intérieur du timbre, une marque parmi deux correspondant au service choisi.
Comme représenté sur les figures 7 et 8, un arbre à cames 9, mû par un pignon soulève alternativement un cliché 10 parmi cinq imprimant une marque au-dessus ou au-dessous de la valeur d'affranchissement à l'intérieur du timbre et correspondant au service choisi.
Des impressions obtenues avec ces deux derniers modes de réalisation sont représentées sur les figures 15 et 16. Dans chaque cas, cinq choix sont possibles, chacun à un emplacement différent.
De tels moyens d'impression permettent de différencier des empreintes d'affranchissement d'objets devant être acheminés par des services postaux différents, par exemple des lettres acheminées par la Poste et des paquets acheminés par un transporteur privé.
L'utilisateur peut à partir du clavier de la machine à affranchir choisir le service devant acheminer l'objet.
Ceci entraíne la comptabilisation du prix de l'affranchissement dans le registre correspondant au service choisi.
Ceci entraíne l'impression d'une marque identifiant le service choisi.
Le moyen d'impression et le moyen de comptabilisation sont protégés par le plombage.
L'impression de cette marque (caractères alphanumériques, logo, etc) peut être réalisée n'importe où à l'intérieur de l'empreinte par différents moyens mécaniques permettant de choisir parmi au minimum deux services postaux ou plus suivant le moyen employé.

Claims (6)

  1. Dispositif de sélection d'articles de courrier comprenant un tambour d'impression (11) ayant des moyens d'impression protégés (5) et étant commandé électroniquement pour l'impression de l'une d'une pluralité de valeurs d'affranchissement, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend en outre :
    un clavier pour entrer un code identifiant un service ou un transporteur particulier,
    un élément d'impression protégé supplémentaire (1, 2, 3, 4, 6) qui en réponse à ce code, est sélectionné pour imprimer sur l'article de courrier une marque identifiant le transporteur particulier choisi, et
    un moyen pour enregistrer la valeur imprimée sur l'article de courrier dans un registre séparé qui est affecté à ce transporteur particulier et basé sur le code entré au clavier.
  2. Dispositif selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que la marque identifiant le transporteur particulier choisi est imprimée par l'élément d'impression protégé supplémentaire (1, 2, 3, 4, 6) à un endroit déterminé de l'article de courrier à proximité immédiate de l'empreinte postale imprimée par les moyens d'impression protégés (5).
  3. Dispositif selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que l'élément d'impression supplémentaire est constitué par un cliché pivotant (1).
  4. Dispositif selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que l'élément d'impression supplémentaire est constitué par une molette d'impression (2, 3, 4).
  5. Dispositif selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que l'élément d'impression supplémentaire est constitué par un agencement à cinq pans dit penta (6).
  6. Dispositif selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que l'élément d'impression supplémentaire est constitué par un dispositif propre de commande tel un palonnier articulé (7) ou un arbre à cames (9).
