A door lock for motor vehicles with an electric motor driven and controlled by an electronic control system actuator, the at least preparatory position on a signal output by a transmitter control signal in an opening of the door lock movable, characterized in that the control electronics an associated on-board network of the motor vehicle independent energy storage which can be connected if necessary to the signal receiver and that the signal receiver then activates the actuator directly.
