Definitions
- the present invention relates to an abrasive system for surface treatment using an abrasive. More specifically, the object according to the invention falls in the field of surface treatment by grinding or similar blasting with particulate material.
- An abrasive system e.g. for irradiating the inner surfaces of pipes has become known from US 3,824,738.
- the blasting medium and the material blasted from the tube are sucked off from a free end of the tube by means of air flow generated by a rotating wheel during the blasting process.
- the system has a carriage which can be extended and retracted into or out of a tube, a centrifugal wheel which is rotatably mounted on a tubular housing, the latter being arranged on the front part of the carriage, a screw conveyor for supplying abrasive to the centrifugal wheel and one behind the Casing arranged on the centrifugal wheel in order to reduce the usable pipe cross section.
- the rotating centrifugal wheel is inserted into the free tube end and, as it moves through the tube, creates an air flow that drives out the abrasive and the material blasted from the tube through the opposite free tube end.
- the abrasive is then separated from the material that was blasted from one pipe and applied to other pipes.
- a disadvantage of the system mentioned is that when the pipes are blasted, the length of which is usually between 6 and 12 m, it takes up a relatively large area in plan view.
- the length of the system is namely at least twice the pipe length, i.e. the length of the tube and that of the mandrel to which the carriage is attached, which takes up relatively large spaces for arranging such systems.
- Another disadvantage of the known system is that the length of the delivery line, through which the abrasive is returned from the pipe outlet to the storage boiler, is relatively large and even three to four times the length of the irradiated pipe. As a result, the individual components are these Delivery line is exposed to a large amount of wear from the abrasive, which significantly shortens its life.
- a blasting agent system is known from DE-B-11 42 298.
- This system has a centrifugal turbine as a centrifugal device, an abrasive being thrown onto a surface of a workpiece by means of the centrifugal device, an abrasive storage tank having the same longitudinal axis as the centrifugal device and being in the area immediately below the centrifugal device, and the abrasive from the storage tank in the centrifugal device is conveyed by means of a conveying device.
- the object of the invention is to develop the known abrasive system so that a simple and effective return of abrasive is possible.
- a blasting agent storage vessel with the same longitudinal axis as a centrifugal turbine or a centrifugal diffuser is arranged and lies in the area immediately below.
- the blasting agent is fed from the storage boiler either into the turbine or the diffuser through a relatively short delivery pipe which connects the turbine or the diffuser to the storage boiler.
- the abrasive is conveyed through the tube in various ways; e.g. by means of a conveying air flow which is generated by the suction effect of the turbine or the diffuser and / or is introduced through a binding blow-in tube, or by means of a screw conveyor which is arranged in the said conveying tube.
- An embodiment of the blasting agent system according to the invention has an injector centrifugal diffuser, to which a pipe socket is assigned at the first longitudinal entry end and a delivery pipe at the second longitudinal entry end.
- the free end of the latter is closed off by means of a basket-like storage kettle, the delivery pipe being equipped with a series of radial cutouts in the region of the connection to the bottom of the storage kettle.
- the inner sides of the pipe socket and the delivery pipe are connected to one another by a binding blow-in pipe which essentially projects into the delivery pipe through the bottom of the storage tank.
- the latter is formed with a series of radial recesses in the area of its free end.
- the conveyor tube is connected at one end to a suction side of the turbine-like centrifugal device and at its other end, ie the free end, to the bottom of the basket-like storage vessel.
- a rotatable loosening pipe Coaxial with the feed pipe and forming a clearance fit, there is a rotatable loosening pipe which is fixedly connected to the rotor and is formed at its free end, in the area of the recesses on the feed pipe, with a row of evenly spaced loosening teeth at the end.
- the rotor is assigned an axially non-rotatable tube which, with its opposite end, penetrates the bottom of the storage vessel and forms a firm connection with the bottom.
- a rotatable elevator tube is arranged coaxially with said tube and is provided with a screw on its inner surface.
- the elevator tube is fixedly connected to the rotor and extends in the longitudinal direction essentially to the bottom of the storage vessel, a distance being provided between the latter and the free end of the tube.
- the system according to the invention can e.g. be used to irradiate the flat outer surface, in this embodiment both the centrifugal turbine or the diffuser and the reservoir are arranged in a housing.
- this has a correspondingly designed outlet opening for the blasting agent, which is encased with a suitable protective shield that fits the treated surface.
- the blasting agent is fed from the area of the bottom of the storage vessel into the centrifugal turbine or the diffuser through a relatively short delivery pipe, one of the delivery types described above being able to be used for this.
- that part of the jacket wall of the basket-like storage vessel which is closer to the centrifugal device in the axial direction is essentially designed as a radially flexible fine grid, to which a funnel-shaped shield made of elastic material and radially flexible is assigned in the axial direction.
- the abrasive storage tank mentioned can also be designed as a cyclone separator.
- a blasting agent system according to the invention is shown as a system for blasting the inner surfaces of pipes.
- Such a system for irradiating the inner surfaces of pipes can also be used as a system for irradiating flat outer surfaces either of pipes or workpieces of different profiles, flat workpieces, such as e.g. Ship flanks, etc. can be used.
- An abrasive system for e.g. Irradiation of the inner surfaces of pipes consists of an injector centrifugal diffuser 1, which is assigned a pipe socket 2 at its first longitudinal end, possibly the upper one. Its free end serves to receive a flexible supply hose of pressurized drive air, which is known per se and is not shown in the drawing.
- the other longitudinal entry end of the injector diffuser 1, possibly the lower one, is assigned a delivery pipe 3, the free end of which is closed off with a blasting agent supply vessel 4 in such a way that the delivery pipe 3 is centered on the bottom of the supply vessel 4 and its jacket wall in the direction toward the diffuser 1 diverges, is arranged.
- the delivery pipe 3 is equipped with a series of radial cutouts 5 which serve for the entry of the blasting agent.
- the inside of the pipe socket 2 and that of the delivery pipe 3 are connected by means of a binding blow-in pipe 6, the latter being connected to the pipe connection 2 in the region of the upper end of the injector diffuser 1 and protruding through the bottom of the storage vessel 4 into the delivery pipe 3.
- the jacket wall part of the basket-like storage vessel 4, which is located in the vicinity of the injector diffuser 1, is essentially seen in the axial direction as a radially flexible fine grid 7, which is only permeable to the dust particles formed during the irradiation. Furthermore, the said fine grid 7 is in the axial direction made of elastic material and also radially flexible funnel-shaped shield 8 is assigned, which lies close to the inner surface of the tube 9 to be irradiated during operation of the system according to the invention.
- a pair of ribs 10 is arranged, on each of which a guide wheel unit 10 'is arranged.
- This has a known, spring-supported lever 11 which is rotatably mounted in the radial direction of the tube 9 and on the free end of which a support wheel 12 is rotatably mounted.
- the respective lever 11 is guided radially by means of a rod-shaped guide 13, which is rotatably mounted on the respective rib 10, a compression spring 14 being attached, which is arranged between the respective lever 11 and the rib 10.
- a fastening projection 15 is arranged on the side of the bottom of the storage vessel 4 facing away from radial recesses 5 of the delivery pipe 3, said fastening projection having a pair of opposing ribs 10, on which the wheel unit 10 ′ described above is arranged.
- the inner surface of the tube 9 is irradiated in either a horizontal or vertical position, etc. such that the system in question is pushed into the tube 9 according to the invention, being leaned closely against the wall of the tube 9 with pairs of wheel units 10 'and the radially flexible shield 8.
- the compressed air flow (arrow A) is supplied to the pipe socket 2 through a supply line (not shown in more detail), which partially flows through the bottom of the storage boiler 4 via the binding blow-in pipe 6 (arrow B). This, the so-called primary compressed air flow, sucks the blasting medium through the radial recesses 5 of the delivery pipe 3 and pushes it upwards through the latter.
- the secondary compressed air flow also contributes to this, ie the compressed air flow that remains in the pipe socket 2 after the primary compressed air flow has been discharged via the binding blow-in pipe 6.
- the secondary compressed air flow flows through the diffuser 1 (arrow C), forming an overpressure in the storage vessel 4, which, as already mentioned, pushes the blasting agent additionally through the cutouts 5 (arrow D).
- the secondary compressed air flow that flows through the diffuser 1 also creates a negative pressure in the delivery pipe 3, which additionally accelerates the flow of the blasting agent, which is thrown radially against the inner surface of the pipe 9 by the rapid compressed air flow (arrow E).
- the blasting agent then falls into the storage vessel 4 and the dust particles are pushed through the fine grid 7 by means of the compressed air flow.
- the blasting agent system according to the invention is pushed along the tube 9 until the entire inner surface is irradiated.
- FIG. 2 Another exemplary embodiment of the system according to the invention has a turbine-like centrifugal device 16 known per se, which consists of a stator 17 and a pneumatically driven rotor 18 (not shown in detail in FIG. 2).
- the rotor 18 is assigned the rotationally fixed delivery pipe 3, which, like in the first exemplary embodiment, is formed with a series of radial recesses 5 in the region of its free end and is connected with its first end to the suction side of the turbine device 16.
- the other i.e.

- the blasting agent system according to the invention is introduced into the pipe 9 so that it is leaned closely against the wall of the pipe 9 with pairs of wheel units 10 'and the radially flexible shield 8.
- the loosening pipe 19 also begins to rotate, which with a series of loosening teeth 20 swirls and loosens the abrasive located in the reservoir.
- the rotation of the rotor 18 causes a pressure drop in the delivery pipe 3, as a result of which the abrasive is sucked into the delivery pipe and further into the rotor 18 (arrow E) and then is thrown radially outward onto the wall of the pipe 9 by means of its blades (arrow G) .
- the abrasive collects in the storage tank 4 and the dust particles are blown through by means of an air stream the fine grid 7 pressed through.
- the blasting agent system according to the invention is pushed along the tube 9 until the entire inner surface is irradiated.

- a rotatable elevator tube 24 is arranged coaxially with the tube 23, which is formed on its inner surface with a worm 25 and is fixedly connected to the rotor 18.
- the elevator tube 24 extends longitudinally essentially to the area of the bottom of the storage vessel 4, a distance being provided between the latter and the free end of the elevator tube 24, which enables the blasting agent to pass freely.
- the storage vessel 4 is formed on the side of its base facing away from the free end of the elevator tube 3 and the stator 17 is formed on its side facing away from the suction side of the device 16 with a pair of radial ribs 26, each of which has the wheel unit 10 ′ described above. carry.

Description
Darin zeigen:
- Fig.1
- Fig. 2
- Fig. 3
