Wenn die Räder oder Rollen eines solchen Preßkorbes nicht nur in vertikalen Ebenen, sondern auch um vertikale Achsen schwenkbar gelagert sind, so können pro Presse mehrere solche verfahrbare Körbe vorgesehen werden, wobei die einzelnen Preßkörbe für unterschiedliches Preßgut (Papier, Karton, Kunststoffe, Metalle) bevorratet werden. In ein und denselben Preßkorb ist daher in zeitlicher Folge das Preßgut einzubringen, das bis zum Pressen in verschiedenen Behältern oder Räumen gelagert werden muß. Das zu verpressende Gut wird von seiner Lagerstelle zur Presse geführt, dann wird der Preßwagen auf der Fahrbühne aus der Presse herausgezogen, mit dem Preßgut gefüllt, in die Presse eingefahren und gepreßt, dann wieder aus der Presse ausgefahren und anschließend wird das gepreßte Gut dem Preßkorb entnommen. Die Kolbenstange 31 dieser Kolben-Zylinder-Einheit 30 trägt an ihrem freien Ende einen hakenartigen Ansatz 32; am Boden des Preßkorbes, hier nicht dargestellt, ist eine für die Aufnahme des hakenartigen Ansatzes 32 vorgesehene Aufnahmeöse od. dgl. angeordnet. Die Rinnen 24 können entweder frei ausgeschoben werden oder aber mit der Kolbenstange 32 durch horizontal liegende Querverbindungen verbunden sein, die ja nur geringe Kräfte übertragen müssen, denn die eigentliche Zugkraft wird ja über den hakenartigen Ansatz 32 direkt auf die Kolben-Zylinder-Einheit eingeleitet, denn der Preßkorb, der auf die ausgezogenen Rinnen 24 aufgesetzt wird, wird mit der Kolben-Zylinder-Einheit 30 in die Presse eingezogen bzw. aus der Presse ausgestoßen.In the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 12, two channels 17 and 24 lying one inside the other are also provided on both sides of the press, with spring-supported rollers 25 arranged on the end face. Claims (13)

  1. A press for refuse, with a press frame having at least one horizontal limb (3) and two vertical limbs (2), the uppermost horizontal limb supporting a drive unit via which a press plate (5), horizontally positioned between the vertical limbs of the frame, is vertically displaceable inside a press cage (10) receiving the material for compression, and supports (7) are arranged on the vertical limbs (2) of the press frame in the base region and on the opposed sides, the press cage (10) being received at its edges in the said supports, characterised in that the supports (7), extending at right angles to the plane of the press frame, are formed to be channel-like or beam-like,
       the surfaces forming the channel-like supports extending downwards and converging at an acute angle and forming a channel of substantially V-shaped cross-section which is open upwards, and the press cage having feet which are formed to correspond to the cross-section of the channel,
       and/or
       the beam-like supports preferably having a plurality of openings on their upper surface, in which openings there engage feet (12) on the press cage which is charged and inserted into the press (figs. 5 and 6), the said feet being provided at the edges of the base (11) of the press cage (10) and formed as pyramids or truncated cones.
  2. A press for refuse in accordance with claim 1, characterised in that the height (h) of the feet (12) on the press cage (10) is greater than the height (H) of the supports (7).
  3. A press for refuse in accordance with claim 2, characterised in that the height of the feet (12) formed as truncated pyramids or cones is less than the height of the supports (7).
  4. A press for refuse in accordance with claim 1, characterised in that the V-shaped channel (17) forming the support (7) is reinforced by transverse crosspieces (18) parallel to the plane of the frame.
  5. A press for refuse in accordance with claim 4, characterised in that the transverse crosspieces (18) in the V-shaped channel (7), which face the insertion side of the press cage (10), are formed to be lower than the longitudinal sides of the V-shaped channel (17).
  6. A press for refuse in accordance with claim 1, characterised in that inside the substantially V-shaped channel (17), open upwards and connected to the limbs of the frame, there is a further channel (24) of a cross-section corresponding to that of the channel (17) acting as a support, the two channels being mounted to be displaceable in relation to one another, and on one front end surface the displaceable channel (24) has a spring-mounted castor (25) supported on the base.
  7. A press for refuse in accordance with claim 6, characterised in that a low-friction coating is arranged between the two channels (7, 24).
  8. A press for refuse in accordance with one of claims 6 or 7, characterised in that at least one horizontally positioned piston/cylinder unit (30) is arranged on a transverse bar (29) which is near the base and connects the horizontal supporting rails (6), and the said piston/cylinder unit is connected to the displaceable channels (24).
  9. A press for refuse in accordance with claim 8, characterised in that a piston/cylinder unit is associated with each of the two displaceable channels (24) (fig. 11).
  10. A press for refuse in accordance with claim 8, characterised in that the cylinder unit (30) is positioned in the vertical central plane of the press frame (1), and at its free end the piston rod (31) in the piston/cylinder unit (30) has a hook-like projection (32) which can be brought into active connection with an opposite part on the press cage (10) which receives the projection (32).
  11. A press for refuse in accordance with one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that horizontal guide links (9) oriented towards the direction of introduction (B) are provided on the vertical press limbs (2) on that side from which the press cage (10) is introduced into the press.
  12. A press for refuse in accordance with claim 11, characterised in that the portions of the guide links (9) directly co-operating with the press cage to be pushed in or introduced are fitted with low-friction coatings, or are formed by freely rotatable rollers (15) with vertical axes of rotation.
  13. A press for refuse in accordance with claim 1, characterised in that the beam-like or block-like supports (7) are interconnected by a strip-like or band-like tension member (21) resting on the base.
