Die Drehung der Antriebsachse 13 wird entweder nach einer von der Steuereinrichtung 23 vorgegebenen festen Zeit angehalten oder abhängig von vorher mittels einer Zufallseinrichtung in der Steuereinrichtung 23 bestimmten Stellungen angehalten. Auf dem Anzeigefenster 7 sind dann die Symbole zu erkennen. Im Falle, daß die Steuereinrichtung 23 bei Beginn des Spieles die Stellungen der Symbolträger bzw. der Würfel 8 bestimmt, kann auch gleichzeitig durch Vergleich eines gleichfalls gespeicherten Gewinnplans festgestellt werden, ob eine Gewinnkombination vorliegt oder nicht. Abhängig von den vorbestimmten Stellungen der Würfel 8 und von den gespeicherten Informationen über die Übersetzungsverhältnisse liefert die Steuereinrichtung 23 die notwendige Impulszahl zur Ansteuerung der bestimmten Stellungen an den Schrittmotor.
