Die Erfindung betrifft eine Walze zum Führen und Strekken von Bändern und/oder Folienbahnen für Wickeleinrichtungen, vorzugsweise für Vorrichtungen zum kontinuierlichen Bedampfen oder Besputtern von Kunststoff- oder Papierbändern und -bahnen im Vakuum mit einer Vielzahl von auf der Walzenachse hintereinanderliegend angeordneten nach Art von Wälzkörperlagern auf der Walzenachse über Wälzkörper drehbar gehaltene Außenbuchsen gleicher Konfiguration, wobei die Außenbuchsen berührungsfrei und im Abstand zueinander gehalten sind und das Folienband oder die Folienbahn die Außenbuchsen teilweise umschlingt und dabei mit Vorspannung an Partien der Zylindermantelfläche der Außenbuchsen anliegt. Derartige Streck- und Stauchwalzen sind mit einem elastischen Schlauch aus textilem Werkstoff versehen, der über die einzelnen Walzenabschnitte gezogen ist und so für einen kontinuierlichen Lauf der Walzenabschnitte sorgt. Claims (7)

  1. A roller for guiding and stretching strips and/or film webs (21) for winding devices, preferentially for apparatuses for the continuous metallisation or sputtering of plastic or paper strips and webs in a vacuum, having a plurality of outer bushes (2) with the same configuration, arranged lying one after another on the roller shaft (4), pivotably held, via roll bodies (10), on the roller shaft (4) in the manner of roll body bearings, wherein the outer bushes are held, without contact, at a distance from one another and the film strip or the film web (21) partly wraps around the outer bushes (2) and thus lies with initial tension against portions of the cylinder jacket surfaces of the outer bushes (2), characterised by at least one profiled rod (18), which is held and guided, in a longitudinally displaceable manner, in a longitudinal groove (17) in the roller shaft (4), said profiled rod (18) cooperating with at least one pin or ball pin (19), each of which is held in the locating bush (8) allocated to an outer bush (2) or is integral therewith and extends radially inwards into a recess (26), which is arranged on the profiled rod (18), wherein longitudinal displacement of the profiled rod (18) pivots the locating bushes (8), each of which is mounted on the roller shaft (4) and is tiltable by a pair of pins or ball pins (13, 14), in relation to the longitudinal axis of the roller shaft (4).
  2. A roller according to claim 1, characterised in that the locating bush (8) allocated to each outer bush (2) has two pins or bearing elements (14), lying diametrically opposite one another, which extend radially inwards into corresponding recesses (22), which are provided in the roller shaft (4), and thus enable a tilting movement of the locating bush (8) in relation to the roller shaft (4).
  3. A roller according to claims 1 and 2, characterised in that the locating bush (8), which is allocated to an outer bush (2) in each case, is held at a distance from the two adjacent outer bushes by spring rings (11) placed on the roller shaft (4) or inserted into annular grooves provided on the roller shaft.
  4. A roller according to claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the profiled rod (18) has, at one end, gearing which cooperates with the screw drive of a motor (24) or an actuator device (20), which is fixed to the shaft (4) such that the profiled rod (18) is longitudinally displaceable by rotation of the screw drive for the purposes of pivoting the bushes (2) in relation to the shaft (4).
  5. A roller according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterised in that the bearing elements are each formed from a press-fit bush (13) and a ball (14) supported thereupon, wherein the ball extends on the other side into the recess or sunk hole (22) in the shaft (4) or is supported therein and thus forms a tilting bearing therewith in each case.
  6. A roller according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterised in that the locating bush (8) allocated to each outer bush (12) has two fingers, pins or ball pins (13, 14), extending radially inwards, which are arranged at approximately diametrically opposite points on the radial inner jacket surface (M) of the locating bush (8) and, together with recesses, indentations or sunk holes (22) in the jacket surface of the roller shaft (4), form a pivoting or tilting bearing so that the locating bush (8) and thus also the outer bush (12), pivotably mounted thereupon: are tiltable or pivotable relative to the roller shaft (4), wherein the pivoting axis (S) extending through the two spherical bushes (13, 14), is arranged approximately perpendicular to the axis of rotation (R) of the roller shaft (4)
  7. A roller according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterised in that the locating bush (8) has a finger, pin or ball pin (19), extending radially inwards from its inner jacket surface (M), said finger, pin or ball pin (19) cooperating with a niche, stop, projection or recess (26), which is provided on a profiled rod (18), displaceably arranged on the roller shaft (4), parallel to the axis of rotation (R), wherein the effective axis (W) extending through the ball pin (19) is approximately perpendicular to the axis of rotation (R) and also approximately perpendicular to the pivoting axis (S).
