Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for ironing a tool frame onto the rails of a track with at least one probe lever provided for bearing against a rail and pivotable by a drive in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the track, the height of the tool frame movable by flanged wheels on the track by height drives and articulated is connected to a machine frame of a track construction machine.
- the single-track device which is also articulated on the machine frame independently of the tool frame, consists essentially of a pair of levers which act as a sensing element and which are attached to their own frame articulated on the machine frame in such a way that the sensing levers can be pivoted in a vertical plane running in the transverse direction of the track.
- the pivot axes of the feeler levers are spaced horizontally from each other, for example in the track gauge of the track.
- the feeler levers are also coupled to one another via a synchronization rod in such a way that the movement of one lever by means of a swivel drive causes a movement of the other lever that is mirror-inverted thereto.
- the free lower ends of the probe levers are designed as keystrokes for contact with the inside of the rail head.
- the feeler levers are pivoted too far towards the center of the machine.
- the swivel drive is acted on and the synchronous spreading movement of the feeler levers towards the inside of the rail heads takes place.
- the single track device is not exactly centered over the middle of the track - for example because the machine is on a track curve - then it is inevitable that one of the probe levers first comes into contact with the assigned rail head. As the levers spread, the frame of the single track device is shifted in the direction of the center of the track until the other feeler is also in contact with the rail head assigned to it and the device is thus centered precisely with respect to the center of the track. In this position, the frame of the single track device then serves to steer the tool frame into the correct track-centered position while it is being lowered onto the track.
- finger-like directional supports are attached to the tool frame and are deflected by guide ramps arranged on the frame of the single track device until the flanged wheels of the tool frame engage the rails and the tool frame is thus set in.
- This single track device is structurally relatively complex and requires an additional frame for the feeler levers.
- the object of the present invention is to provide a structurally particularly simple single-track device of the type described in the introduction.
- feeler levers are mounted directly on the tool frame and the height drives are designed for a two-stage lowering of the tool frame, which is connected to at least one expansion drive for pressing the flanged wheels against the rail head.
- Such a single track device advantageously requires only a few structural parts which can be attached to the tool frame without problems and without impairing the function thereof. Due to the lowering movement, which can be carried out in two stages, the tool frame can first be brought or lowered from the transfer position into a position which is particularly favorable for the centering process and is located just above the rails with the flanged wheels to be inserted. Then the tool frame is centered in the middle of the track and then the second stage of lowering, i.e. the actual infeed of the flanged wheels. In a particularly economical manner, the expansion drives required for the work of the tool frame can also be used for carrying out the single-track operation.
- This use consists in that the tool frame can be blocked by means of the expansion drives until the end of the first stage of the lowering movement or until the feeler lever bears against the rails in order to avoid an undesired transverse displacement, in particular on bank sections of the track, so that a also in these track sections trouble-free single-track operation is ensured.
- the embodiment of the invention according to claim 2 ensures, in a particularly simple manner, an automatic and exact height positioning of the flange wheels to be introduced just above the rails, by dimensioning the stroke of the piston units of the upper drives provided for the first lowering stage accordingly. This also ensures that the same conditions always prevail for the subsequent centering process which can be triggered by the pivoting of the feeler levers, or that the lowering is always stopped in the same position of the tool frame.
- the design of the device described in claim 3 creates the ideal, largely unobstructed starting position of the tool frame with respect to the rails for the subsequent centering in the middle of the track.
- the further embodiment of the device according to claim 4 enables the automatic centering of the tool frame on the rails in the simplest way by acting on only a single drive, since the two coupled lever levers are pivoted mirror-inverted to each other in a pincer-like movement.
- the design of the feeler lever according to claim 6 enables improved support of the levers on the rail heads and offers a firmer grip during the centering process.
- the angle between the curved end and the adjoining part of the feeler lever is approximately 150 °, this ensures the best possible adaptation of the shape of the feeler lever to the rail head profile without impairing the pivotability for the centering process.
- a limit switch according to claim 9 ensures, with the simplest means, an automatic switchover from a blocking position of the expansion drives, which is necessary during the first lowering stage of the tool frame, into a floating position required for the centering process, so that no intervention by an operator is required for the entire centering process.
- a mobile track-laying machine 1 shown in FIG. 1 has a bridge-shaped machine frame 4 which is mounted on a track 3 at the end via rail carriages 2.
- a lifting and straightening unit 6 having lifting and straightening drives and a leveling and straightening reference system 7 controlling these units are arranged.
- An energy center 8 serves to supply all the drives arranged on the track-laying machine 1, which can be controlled via a control device 9 located in a work cabin.
- a tool frame 10 having measuring carriage 11 is provided, which is connected to the machine frame 4 in an articulated and height-adjustable manner between the widely spaced rail carriages 2 via height drives 12 and is assigned to the leveling and directional reference system 7 .
- the tool frame 10 is equipped with a single-rail device 13 for centering in the single rail, which will be explained in more detail below.
- Measuring wheels of the leveling and directional reference system arranged at the front and rear ends of the track-laying machine 1 are also provided with a single-track device 13.
- the tool frame 10 of the measuring carriage 11 which extends transversely to the longitudinal direction of the track, is connected to two flanged wheels 14, which are each assigned to a rail 15 of the track 3 or can be rolled thereon .
- the rail level by the leveling and directional reference system 7 there are two leveling rods spaced apart from one another in the track transverse direction 16 provided, which are mounted on the machine frame 4 in a vertical guide 17 and are only freely movable in height.
- leveling rods 16 are supported by a spar 18 on a horizontal slideway 19 on the tool frame 10 and are mounted in a transverse guide 20, whereby the tool frame 10 can be moved freely in the transverse direction of the track relative to the leveling rods 16 or the machine frame 4.
- Two spreading drives 21, which are arranged horizontally and in the transverse direction of the track, are connected at one end to the tool frame 10 approximately in the middle of the machine and at the other end to a leveling rod 16 and have the task, during operation, of one of the flanged wheels 14 to a rail head 22 of a rail 15 without play to press on.
- the height drives 12, which connect the tool frame 10 to the machine frame 4 in an articulated manner, are each composed of two drives 23, 24, each of which has a cylinder unit 25, 26 and a piston unit 27, 28, and which are coaxial with one another in the region of an end face of the two cylinder units 25, 26 are connected.
- the piston unit 27 of the upper drive 23 is articulated on the machine frame 4, while the piston unit 28 of the lower drive 24 is articulated to an end of the tool frame 10 on the outside of the machine.
- the stroke of the piston unit 27 of the upper drive 23 is dimensioned such that when the piston is fully extended, the tool frame 10 is lowered to such an extent that the flanged wheels 14 with their treads are approximately 5 to 8 cm above the rail head 22.
- the single track device 13 has two feeler levers 29, each assigned to a rail 15, which are mounted on the tool frame 10 by means of bolts 30 and can be pivoted about a plane running perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the track, the bolts 30 being approximately at the same height as the axes 36 of the flanged wheels 14 are located and the distance between the bolts to each other is smaller than the distance between the flanged wheels.
- the feeler levers 29 are articulated by means of an approximately diagonally extending synchronization rod 31 such that movement of the one feeler lever 29 results in a mirror-image movement of the other lever with respect to a vertical plane running in the longitudinal axis of the machine.
- a pivot drive 32 articulated on the tool frame 10 serves to carry out this movement or pivoting of the feeler levers 29.
- the lower, free ends 33 of the feeler levers 29 are — viewed in the end position of the levers pivoted downward — curved in the direction of the middle of the track and are provided for bearing against the outside of the rail head 22.
- the angle between this curved end 33 and the subsequent main part of the feeler lever 29 is approximately 150 °.
- the tool frame 10 is equipped with a limit switch 34, which is contacted by a feeler lever 29 in the end position pivoted up to the outside of the machine and is connected to the control of the expansion drives 21, and with a further limit switch 35 for contacting a feeler lever 29 in the lower one End position, with which the loading of the lower drives 24 is initiated.
- the operation of the described device is as follows (see Fig.3 and Fig.4):
- the tool frame 10 or the measuring carriage 11 - with the height drives 12 completely retracted - is in an upper end position in which it is centered and locked on the machine frame 4 by means of a mechanical guide (not shown here) (see the outline indicated by dash-dotted lines in FIG. 3).
- the feeler levers 29 are also pivoted up into the end position.
- the locking of the tool frame 10 is released while the expansion drives 21 are blocked in order to prevent undesired lateral swinging of the tool frame when the track 3 is elevated in track arches.
- the tool frame 10 is lowered by completely extending the upper drives 23 in a first stage, after which the flanged wheels 14 are located a few centimeters above the top edges of the rails.
- the limit switch 35 actuated in this end position of the push-button lever 29 now automatically triggers the second stage of lowering the tool frame 10 by extending the lower drives 24, the push-button lever 29 also being opened again or pivoted upwards until the flanged wheels 14 with the rails 15 are engaged and the single track is completed (see Fig. 5).
- the single track device described is of course equally suitable for use in conjunction with other tools or work units of track construction machines, such as e.g. a track lifting and straightening unit.
