  • Superficial drying can first be achieved by using the compressed air gun 67 again, by means of which still adhering parts and dripping cleaning liquid can be blown off. • This inflowing air must be separated again when the air circuit is formed: the amount of air separated is determined here by the pressure in the collecting space 34 in connection with the resistance given by the activated carbon filter 41.
  • This air to be discharged is initially covered by the shield plate 37 against the actual collecting space 34, so that 40 further separation processes can occur in the exhaust space and in the exhaust hose 38 connected to the elbow 38.
  • the final cleaning of the air to be separated from the circuit is effected by the activated carbon filter 41. In many cases, however, adequate exhaust air purification is achieved when the activated carbon filter 41 is connected directly to the manifold 38.
  • the air exiting into the installation space is so largely cleaned that it can neither appear to be harmful to health nor be perceptible at all, for example by the sense of smell.
  • Due to the extensive regeneration it is no longer necessary to use two different liquids, namely new and, to initiate cleaning and for softening, already used but regenerated liquid.
  • the number of containers required can therefore be reduced to one, so that this also increases the mobility of the arrangement.
  • the extensive regeneration also ensures an extremely long lifespan of the cleaning liquid introduced into the circuit, which remains practically usable for a very long time and therefore hardly causes disposal problems.
  • the halogen-free cleaning liquid intended for this arrangement and containing neither chlorinated nor fluorinated hydrocarbons both through their composition as well as through the minimal amounts of the discharged liquid the disposal problems are reduced to a minimum.
