Abstract
Description
- La présente invention est relative à la protection de matériels contre le vol et se rapporte plus particulièrement au "tatouage" de matériels, notamment de matériels d'informatique et de bureautique.
- L'identification d'un matériel informatique ou autre est traditionnellement réalisée à l'aide d'un numéro de série porté par une étiquette autocollante fixée sur le boîtier de l'appareil et qui peut être aisément enlevée.
- Les matériels ne sont donc pas réellement protégés contre le vol de sorte que chaque année, des milliers de micro-ordinateur disparaissent au sein des entreprises.
- L'invention vise à remédier à cette absence de protection en créant des moyens qui permettent d'une part de donner à un matériel un numéro d'identification et d'autre part de rendre ce numéro d'identification pratiquement inaltérable, de sorte que le matériel qui le porte est identifiable à tout moment.
- Elle a donc pour objet une plaque d'identification d'un matériel, caractérisée en ce qu'elle porte dans une première zone d'une première face, un numéro d'identification et dans une seconde zône, des informations relatives à l'organisme d'identification auquel il convient de s'adresser pour obtenir des renseignements relatifs au titulaire du numéro d'identification, l'autre face de ladite plaque étant adhésive et portant une inscription transférable par collage sur une paroi du matériel à identifier lors de la mise en place de ladite plaque et susceptible d'apparaître de façon inaltérable en cas d'arrachage de la plaque pour indiquer le vol du matériel.
- L'invention sera mieux comprise à l'aide de la description qui va suivre, donnée uniquement à titre d'exemple et faite en se référant aux dessins annexés, sur lesquels :
- la Fig.1 est une vue en plan du recto de la plaque d'identification suivant l'invention;
- la Fig.2 est une vue en plan du verso de la plaque d'identification de la Fig.1; et
- la Fig.3 est une vue partielle en élévation d'un panneau d'un appareil dont la plaque d'identification a été arrachée.
- Sur la Fig.1, on a représenté une plaque 1 réalisée par exemple en alliage léger dont le recto est subdivisé en deux zones principales 2 et 3 délimitées par un cadre extérieur 4 et par une ligne de séparation horizontale 5.
- La zone 2 porte une inscription relative à la désignation de l'organisme et qui fabrique la plaque en question.
- Dans le présent exemple, cet organisme est intitulé " identification nationale des tatouages bureautiques.
- A côté de cette inscription, peut figurer un sigle de l'organisme.
- La zone 3 comporte une plage centrale 6 délimitée par un cadre rectangulaire 7 dans laquelle est inscrit le numéro d'identification de la plaque et par conséquent de l'appareil destiné à la recevoir.
- Au-dessus du numéro d'identification, on lit la mention " Attention, ce matériel est protégé contre le vol " .
- Au-dessous du cadre 7 contenant le numéro d'identification, on trouve des informations relatives au centre informatique auquel il est possible de s'adresser pour connaître par exemple le titulaire du numéro d'identification porté par la plaque ou encore pour signaler le vol du matériel identifié par ce numéro.
- Les inscriptions se trouvant dans les zones 2 et 3, sont avantageusement réalisées par dépôt d'une matière en phase vapeur.
- Sur la Fig.2 on a représenté le verso de la plaque de la Fig.1.
- Cette face arrière de la plaque comporte deux zones latérales 8,9 adhésives sur lesquelles sont placés par exemple des adhésifs à double face. L'adhésif utilisé est par exemple du type 94.73 de marque 3M. Le temps de prise de cet adhésif est de 15s et la résistance optimale à l'arrachage est obtenue au bout de 24 heures.
- Cet adhésif résiste à des températures comprises entre - 50 et + 100°C, de telle sorte qu'une tentative d'arrachage manuel est quasiment impossible et risquerait de laisser des traces.
- Entre les deux zones 8 et 9 portant les adhésifs double face, est prévue une zone centrale 10 sur laquelle est fixée une bande à film de matière plastique thermo-stabilisé 11 sur lequel est imprimée à l'envers, à l'aide par exemple d'une imprimante laser, une inscription 12 destinée à avertir que le matériel a été volé, accompagnée du même numéro d'identification de celui imprimé au verso dans le cadre 7.
- La mise en place de la plaque qui vient d'être décrite en référence aux Fig.1 et 2 est réalisée de la manière suivante.
- On enduit la zone centrale 10 du verso de la plaque 1 d'une colle telle que par exemple une colle Cyanoacrylate en gel, par exemple de type 454 gel Loctite, fabriquée et vendue par la société Framet et l'on retire les bandes de protection des deux surfaces 8,9 pourvues de leur adhésif double face.
- On applique alors la plaque sur une paroi par exemple en matière plastique du boîtier du matériel électrique à protéger. Les deux zones 8 et 9 portant l'adhésif double face adhérent rapidement à la paroi du boîtier et la bande de film plastique 10 portant les inscriptions imprimées à l'envers est collée à ladite paroi par la colle cyanoacrylate en gel, de telle sorte que le film portant les caractères est transféré et pratiquement incorporé avec la colle dans la matière plastique du boîtier de l'équipement.
- Le film 10 est collé à la paroi du boîtier au moment où la plaque 1 est fixée à celle-ci. Le temps de prise de la colle cyanoacrylate et de 10s et la résistance finale s'obtient au bout de 12 heures.
- Bien entendu, l'existence de cette inscription d'avertissement est invisible puisqu'elle est cachée par la plaque de métal 1.
- Selon une variante non représentée, la plaque et la bande en matière plastique peuvent comporter un sigle et/ou un logo identifiant la société à laquelle appartient le ,matériel ainsi qu'un code barre pour pouvoir réaliser une gestion plus aisée du matériel d'une entreprise.
- Sur la Fig.3, on a représenté en vue partielle, la paroi P d'un équipement identifié à l'aide de plaque selon l'invention et dont la plaque a été arrachée. On voit que l'arrachage de la plaque a laissé incorporé à la paroi de l'appareillage, le film plastique 11 portant l'inscription d'avertissement de vol du matériel, le numéro d'identification de ce matériel ainsi que le numéro d'appel de l'organisme de gestion informatique des équipements. Ces inscriptions sont si intimement incorporées à la paroi P du boîtier, qu'il est pratiquement impossible de les effacer sans détériorer la paroi qui les porte.
- On voit donc que grâce à l'agencement qui vient d'être décrit, on dispose d'un moyen extrêmement efficace pour assurer l'identification d'un appareillage ou d'un matériel présentant une certaine valeur, cette identification à l'aide d'une plaque fixée au boîtier de l'équipement, de façon pratiquement inamovible, constituant un moyen particulièrement dissuasif contre le vol.
- Bien que dans l'exemple décrit l'invention soit considéré comme étant appliquée à la protection de matériel informatique, il va de soi qu'elle peut également être utilisée pour tout matériel justifiant de telles mesures de sécurité.
Claims (8)
- Plaque d'identification d'un matériel, caractérisée en ce qu'elle porte dans une première zone (2) d'une première face, un numéro d'identification et dans une seconde zône (3), des informations relatives à l'organisme d'identification auquel il convient de s'adresser pour obtenir des renseignements relatifs au titulaire du numéro d'identification, l'autre face de ladite plaque étant adhésive et portant une inscription transférable par collage sur une paroi du matériel à identifier lors de la mise en place de ladite plaque et susceptible d'apparaître de façon inaltérable en cas d'arrachage de la plaque pour indiquer le vol du matériel.
- Plaque d'identification suivant la revendication 1, caractérisée en ce que les inscriptions portées par les première et seconde zones (2,3) de la première face sont réalisées par dépôt en phase vapeur.
- Plaque d'identification suivant l'une des revendications 1 et 2, caractérisée en ce que ladite face adhésive comporte des zones latérales (8,9) revêtues d'un adhésif à double face.
- Plaque d'identification suivant l'une des revendications 1 à 3, caractérisée en ce que ladite face adhésive comporte une zone centrale (10) portant l'inscription transférable.
- Plaque d'identification suivant la revendication 4, caractérisée en ce que l'inscription transférable est portée par un film (11) de matière plastique fixé à la plaque.
- Plaque d'identification suivant la revendication 5, caractérisée en ce que l'inscription transférable est imprimée à l'envers sur le film de matière plastique (11), à l'aide d'une imprimante laser et transférable avec ledit film (11) par collage de celui-ci à la paroi (P) de l'appareil à identifier.
- Plaque d'identification suivant l'une des revendications 1 à 6, caractérisée en ce que la première zone (2) et la zone centrale (10) de la face adhésive portent une information identifiant le propriétaire du matériel ainsi qu'un code-barre faciliant la gestion du matériel.
- Plaque d'identification suivant l'une quelconque des revendications 6 et 7, caractérisée en ce que la colle utilisée pour le transfert du film en matière plastique (11) sur le support (P) lors de l'application de la plaque sur ledit support est une colle cyanoacrylate en gel.
