Definitions
- the invention relates to a multiple insulating glass pane according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
- a multiple insulating glass pane with four glass panes is known.
- the disks are kept spaced apart from one another by an integral hollow profile filled with a drying agent.
- the inside of the spacer profile, which surrounds the interior between the two inner panes, is perforated.
- the spacing profile is designed for sound and heat insulation such that the distance between an outer pane and an adjacent inner pane is relatively small and the distance between the other outer pane and the inner pane or between the inner panes is relatively large.
- the edges of the two inner panes are rider-like surrounded by an H-shaped intermediate profile.
- the spacer profile is preferably made of glass fiber reinforced polyvinyl chloride, or of polyvinyl chloride coated with an aluminum foil, or of metal.
- EP-B 0 069 558 discloses a multiple insulating glass pane which consists of two glass panes and is improved compared to DE-PS 22 62 040, the spacing profile here being made from polycarbonate material with 10 to 40% by weight of glass fiber filler to avoid the above "cloud formation".
- the object of the invention is to provide a simple, as good heat-insulating multiple insulating glass pane, in the interior of which no moisture penetrates over a long period of time and no gas diffuses away and in which the value of the heat transfer at the edge of the multiple pane is only insignificantly greater than in the center of the pane.
- the spacer profile 1 is designed as a right-angled hollow body with two adjacent, bevelled corners 7a and 7b, which between the two glass panes 3 and 5 encloses an interior space 9 filled with air or another gas in a frame shape.
- the spacing profile 1 is arranged a few millimeters away from the outer edge of the glass panes 3 and 5. It consists of chemically post-compressed polycarbonate with a glass fiber reinforcement. Polycarbonate is a heat insulating material.
- the cavity 11 of the spacer profile 1 is filled with a desiccant 13 and communicates with the latter via a plurality of holes 15 in the inner wall 17 of the spacer profile 1 between the cavity 11 and the interior 9, so that moisture contained in the air or nitrogen in the interior 9 the desiccant 13 is absorbable.
- the outer wall 19 opposite the inner wall 17 and bevelled at its corners 7a and 7b is coated with an approximately 21 nm thick coating 21.
- the coating 21 was sputtered on by means of a physical coating method [PVD (physical vapor deposition)], a 40 nm thick tin oxide layer directly on the outer wall 19, subsequently a 10 nm thick titanium oxide layer, then a 40 nm thick tin oxide layer and finally a 10 nm thick titanium oxide layer is applied.
- PVD physical vapor deposition
- the side walls 23a and 23b and the edge of the multilayer 21 are connected to the glass panes 3 and 5 via a so-called primary barrier 25a and 25b made of isobutylene sealant.
- the isobutylene sealant of the primary barriers 25a and 25b is a plastic material, water vapor and gas impermeable and a good thermal insulator. However, due to its plasticity, it can hardly absorb mechanical forces. For this reason, as stated above, the outer space 27 is filled with polysulfide, silicone or polyurethane. These plastics are heat-insulating, elastic, adhere well to the titanium oxide layer of the coating 21 and have good flexural peel strength (i.e., when the glass pane 3 or 5 is deformed, this plastic adheres excellently). Due to their good flexural peel strength, these materials adhere very well to the surfaces of the spacing profile 1 and the glass panes 3 and 5 even when the spacing profile 1 is thermally expanded.
- the primary barriers 25a and 25b connect the spacer profile 1 to the glass panes 3 and 5 in a manner which is impermeable to water vapor and gas and heat, and the adhesive 29 gives the mechanical strength of the multiple insulating glass pane with sufficient thermal insulation.
- the applied to the outer wall 19 100 nm thick multilayer 21 prevents diffusion of moisture from outside to inside and gas from the interior 9 from the inside to the outside through the outer wall 19.
- plastic materials such as B. polycarbonate, from which the spacer profile 1 is made to achieve a low heat transfer, water vapor and gases diffuse through and thus the effectiveness of the desiccant 13 and the gas filling in the interior 9 is canceled after a long time.
- the multilayer 21 is just so thick that a very good water vapor and gas barrier is achieved, but an increase in the heat transfer of the spacer profile 1 compared to an uncoated spacer profile between the two glass panes cannot be measured.
- a heat conduction in the above thin multilayer 21 from the glass pane 3 to the glass pane 5 or vice versa should not be possible according to rough estimates, since heat is an electromagnetic wave, depending on the ambient temperature, of a few micrometers wavelength.
- the multiple view 21 can therefore not be used as a waveguide for heat waves act because a wave with such a large wavelength does not propagate in any waveguide or along a waveguide whose thickness is a power of ten less than the wavelength of the wave to be guided. Since the partial layers of the multilayer 21 are oxides, they are corrosion-resistant to air and water vapor and are therefore not attacked.
- the multilayer 21 it is also possible to use other water vapor-tight and gas-tight coatings which are also corrosion-resistant to environmental conditions, such as. B. nickel, chromium, chromium-nickel alloys or other materials that can be sputtered with the above properties without thermally influencing the shape (polycarbonate) of the outer wall 19 during the coating process.
- the corrosion resistance of the coating only has to act during storage until the outer space 27 is poured out with adhesive 29.
- the coating should have good adhesion for the adhesive 29 in order to prevent the spacing profile 1 from being displaced in the direction of the center of the pane.
- tin oxide and one titanium oxide layer can also be used. It is also possible to work with only a single tin oxide of an appropriate thickness, the layer thickness having to be chosen at least so thick that no islands form during the vapor deposition. Aluminum oxide can also be used as the layer material.
- three, four or more glass panes lying parallel to one another can also be used.
- the spacer profile can then be designed such that it has indentations (not shown) for receiving the inner glass pane or glass panes. You can also use a spacing profile between two adjacent glass panes.
- the thin sputtered coating (tin oxide, titanium oxide, aluminum oxide, nickel, chromium, nickel-chromium alloy, ...) with a thickness between 70 and 400 nm did not measurably increase the heat transfer of the outer wall 19. It could it can also be found that at the pane edges, ie in the pane frame with cold outside and warm inside temperature, no more condensate forms in the multiple insulating glass panes according to the invention. It was also found in long-term temperature change experiments that the dreaded dissolution of the adhesive 29 no longer occurred in the outer space 27.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a multiple insulating glass pane according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
From DE-PS 22 62 040 a multiple insulating glass pane with four glass panes is known. The disks are kept spaced apart from one another by an integral hollow profile filled with a drying agent. The inside of the spacer profile, which surrounds the interior between the two inner panes, is perforated. The spacing profile is designed for sound and heat insulation such that the distance between an outer pane and an adjacent inner pane is relatively small and the distance between the other outer pane and the inner pane or between the inner panes is relatively large. The edges of the two inner panes are rider-like surrounded by an H-shaped intermediate profile. In order to enlarge the sound-absorbing surface of the spacer profile, the inside of it facing the pane interior is provided with a profile in addition to the perforation. The spacer profile is preferably made of glass fiber reinforced polyvinyl chloride, or of polyvinyl chloride coated with an aluminum foil, or of metal.
Es stieg jedoch hierdurch der Wärmedurchgang zwischen den beiden Innenglasscheiben stark an.It has now been shown in the course of the life of the multiple insulating glass pane that a spacer made only from (glass fiber reinforced) polyvinyl chloride (PVC) tends to unsightly "cloud formation" at the contact edges between the spacer profile and the glass pane by evaporating PVC. If the polyvinyl chloride was coated with a metal foil, preferably with an aluminum foil or made entirely of metal, cloud formation could be prevented. However, the heat transfer between the two inner glass panes rose sharply as a result.
Kältebrücke dargestellt hätte.EP-B 0 069 558 discloses a multiple insulating glass pane which consists of two glass panes and is improved compared to DE-PS 22 62 040, the spacing profile here being made from polycarbonate material with 10 to 40% by weight of glass fiber filler to avoid the above "cloud formation". A spacing profile made of metal, in particular aluminum, was not used because such a spacing profile would have represented a so-called cold bridge due to the high thermal conductivity of the aluminum.
It has now also been shown in long-term tests carried out within the scope of the invention that water vapor diffused through the non-perforated, completely closed outer side of the spacer profile, which was taken up by the drying agent located in the cavity, as a result of which this then no longer exists after a longer period of time was able to absorb moisture from the interior, whereupon a water vapor condensate was deposited on the inside of the glass panes. Gas also diffused out of the window interior, which was introduced for better sound and / or heat insulation.
The object of the invention is to provide a simple, as good heat-insulating multiple insulating glass pane, in the interior of which no moisture penetrates over a long period of time and no gas diffuses away and in which the value of the heat transfer at the edge of the multiple pane is only insignificantly greater than in the center of the pane.
The solution to the problem is the subject of claim 1. Preferred embodiments of the multiple insulating glass pane according to the invention are described in claims 2 to 11.
An example of the multiple insulating glass pane according to the invention is explained in more detail below with the aid of a drawing which shows a cross section through a spacing profile 1 between two glass panes 3 and 5.
The spacer profile 1 is designed as a right-angled hollow body with two adjacent,
The
The isobutylene sealant of the
The applied to the
Instead of the
Instead of building up the
Instead of two glass panes 3 and 5, three, four or more glass panes lying parallel to one another can also be used. The spacer profile can then be designed such that it has indentations (not shown) for receiving the inner glass pane or glass panes. You can also use a spacing profile between two adjacent glass panes.
Surprisingly, it was found that the thin sputtered coating (tin oxide, titanium oxide, aluminum oxide, nickel, chromium, nickel-chromium alloy, ...) with a thickness between 70 and 400 nm did not measurably increase the heat transfer of the
