- An inking unit of this type known from the magazine "Der Polygraph" 13-88, page 1103, has separate holders for the working doctor blade forming part of a chambered doctor blade on the one hand and the ink tray with the ink conveying means on the other hand. Apart from the fact that two brackets are required, the chamber doctor and the ink tray must be removed one after the other with each color change. Then another chamber squeegee and ink tray must also be reattached separately.
- the US Pat. No. 3,500,745 shows an inking unit in which a feed roller including a doctor blade and an ink tray are combined to form an exchangeable structural unit.
- the feed roller is detachably connected to a drive shaft parallel to it via drive gears.
- the invention has for its object to provide a structurally simple arrangement that minimizes the elements to be replaced separately for an accelerated color change.
