Abstract

A refuse bin comprises at least one holding device (12, 13) and at least one joint body with a vertical swivelling axis (23) which consists of two joint pieces (14, 16) and which can be attached, for example, to a side wall (19) of a compartment. One joint piece (14), which can be permanently attached to the side wall, has a projection (20) which extends vertically upward, e.g., a bolt or a pin, or a vertical recess. Said projection (20) can be releasably connected with a recess (22) of the holding device (12). Said vertical recess can be releasably connected with a projection of said device. The latter is designed as the second joint piece and can be suspended from above in the first joint piece.

Description

The invention relates to a waste collector with at least one holder and at least one joint body consisting of joint pieces with an approximately vertical pivot axis, which e.g. can be connected to a side wall of a cabinet compartment.

Waste collectors of the type mentioned at the outset are e.g. described in DE 31 11 161 C2 and can be directly or indirectly connected to the cabinet door. In the extended state of the waste collector, i.e. if it is located outside the cabinet compartment, access to the space of the cabinet compartment that accommodates the waste collector is made difficult, so that it is not readily possible to keep the cabinet compartment clean. This is not least because the lid with which the waste collector is regularly provided cannot be easily removed. Furthermore, a waste collector is described in DE-PS 10 95 740, which, however, can be hung in the cabinet door, as a result of which the cabinet door hinge is particularly stressed.

Based on the above prior art, the invention has for its object to further develop the generic waste collector without undue constructive effort so that access to the space of the cabinet compartment accommodating the waste collector is easily possible.

The object is achieved in that the one, connectable to the side wall hinge piece has a vertically upwardly projecting projection, for example a bolt or peg, or a vertically extending receptacle which can be detachably connected to a receptacle or to a projection of the holder designed as a second joint piece and which can be suspended from above in the first joint piece.

It can be seen that the invention is achieved in any case if the connection between the waste collector and the side wall of the cabinet compartment can be produced by means of such joint pieces which enable the waste collector to be attached and detached quickly and easily. The weight of the waste collector ensures that there is no unwanted detachment of the waste collector from the cabinet compartment. On the other hand, the joint body has the properties known per se of a conventional joint body, so that the waste collector can be pivoted through at least 90 °.

Further expedient and advantageous refinements of the invention emerge from the subclaims.

If it is a waste collector with two brackets, one of which is arranged in the upper and the other in the lower region of the waste collector, and two joint bodies, then it is expedient if the recess formed in the lower joint body has a cutout that is open towards the other joint piece is in which the projection is mounted. It is particularly expedient here if the cutout is adapted to the projection, which is approximately circular in cross section, and encompasses it by more than 180 °.

The actual storage of the waste collector takes place in the upper joint body, while the lower joint body as one place is formed, which defines the pivot axis, improves the storage of the waste bin and compensates the lever forces acting on the joint body.

In the case of a waste collector with a pivotable cover, which covers the waste collector in its retracted position while releasing it in its extended position, it is expedient if the cover, which is articulated to the upper joint piece, has an approximately horizontally extending plug pin which can be detachably connected to the joint piece owns. In the case of an axially symmetrical cover, it is particularly advantageous if the cover has two plug receptacles for the plug pin that can be detachably connected to it. It is therefore possible to attach the waste bin with a lid to the left and right of the cabinet compartment. In the context of this inventive concept, it is particularly expedient if the lid has a spring body that can be connected to it, which on the one hand works with the side wall and strives to move the lid into its open position, and on the other hand cooperates with the upper holder in the retracted position of the waste collector so that the lid closes the waste collector.

Another possibility of swinging out the lid when extending the waste collector or swinging it in when retracting the waste collector is that the cover side of the waste collector or the upper holder which can be covered by the cover lies in a plane falling away from the cabinet compartment and that the cover is pivotable about a horizontal axis. The cover is inclined to the outside in its covering position. Will the Waste collector swung out, then the outer edge of the upper bracket slides on the bottom of the lid, causing it to be lifted. Due to its own weight, it always lies on the top side of the upper bracket.

If it is a waste collector with coupling means for connection to a cabinet door, then it is expedient to use a coupling piece which can be firmly connected to the cabinet door, projects vertically upwards and can be inserted into the holder from bottom to top, which is different when the waste collector is lifted this solves. The waste collector can be detached or connected to or from the coupling piece without any problems, since the waste collector is adjustable in the vertical direction. Here, the coupling piece is regularly dimensioned so that its vertical length is less than the vertical adjustment path of the waste collector when unhooking.

Such coupling pieces are used to take the waste collector with you when the cabinet door is opened, ie to move it from its retracted position to its extended position. However, this can also be achieved in that coupling pieces are used which are articulated both with the cabinet door and with the waste collector or the holder. These coupling pieces then consist, for example, of a pipe piece with a piston and a piston rod, the piston rod forming one end of the coupling means and, for example, being connected to the cabinet door, while the pipe piece is a straight or curved cylinder which is connected to the waste collector. The piston consists of a material such that the frictional force between it and the cylinder is greater than the maximum pivoting force that must be applied. to pivot a waste collector from its retracted to its extended position. In the simplest embodiment, a conventional pump could also be used, the openings of which are formed in the pump body in order to avoid compression of the air. The piston, which is made of plastic, for example, is dimensioned and constructed in such a way that a certain frictional force must be overcome during the back and forth movements. However, this frictional force must be greater than the force required to pivot a waste collector. If the cabinet door, which can be swiveled by more than 90 °, eg 180 °, is then opened, the waste collector is taken along until it has reached its extended position (swiveled by 90 °). If the door is then pivoted further, then a force must be applied which is greater than the frictional force between the piston and the pump body, until the cabinet door has reached the desired position, for example 180 °. When the door is closed, the waste collector is first pivoted into its retracted position, since the force acting on it and originating from the door is greater than the force required to pivot the waste collector. When he has reached the retracted position, a force is exerted on the door (in the same direction) in order to overcome the frictional force between the piston and the pump body until the door has reached its closed position. Instead of a pump, however, a telescopic body, for example in the form of a car antenna, could also be used.

Für den Abschnitt 33 des Steckstiftes 32 ist im Gelenkstück 14 eine Bohrung mit der Längsmittelachse 36 vorgesehen.1 and 2 is a waste collector 10 with two brackets 12 and 13 and two joint bodies with one shown vertically extending pivot axis 18 which can be connected to a side wall 19 of a cabinet compartment, not shown. The joint bodies each consist of two joint pieces 14 and 15 or 16 and 17. The joint pieces 14 and 16 which can be connected to the side wall 19 are connected to one another by means of a rod 23 which is circular in cross-section and which forms a bolt 20 in the joint piece 14. The joint piece 15 has a cylindrical recess 22 which is detachably connectable to the bolt 20. The lower joint piece 17 is designed in the form of a recess which is open towards the joint piece. The joint pieces 14 and 16 can be detachably connected to the side wall 19 by means of screws. The actual connection between the joint pieces 14 and 15 on the one hand and 16 and 17 on the other hand takes place in that first the bolt 20 is inserted into the recesses 22 and then the incision 17 is connected to the rod 23. The bolt 20 or the recess 22 could also be designed so that they have the shape of a truncated cone, so that the attachment is simplified. The cover 30 is an axially symmetrical body which has two recesses for a plug pin 32 and a spring body 37. The pin 32 can be inserted into the opening 34 and immovably connected to the cover 30. In Fig. 1, a lid for a waste collector is shown, which is connected to the left side wall of a cabinet compartment. If this cover is to be used for a waste collector that can be connected to the right side wall of a cabinet compartment, then the plug pin 32 is inserted into the opening 34 '. The same also applies to the spring body 37, which can be detachably connected to the cover 30 by a plug connection. For this purpose, an opening 35 and 35 'is provided. This Spring body 37 serves to pivot the cover upwards about axis 36. The cover 30 assumes this position when the waste collector 10 is in the extended position. Here, the leg 40 is supported on the side wall 19. If the waste collector 10 is moved into the cabinet compartment, the upper holder 12 presses against the cranked area 39 of the spring body 37. As a result, the cover 30 is pivoted downward about the axis 36. The spring body 37 is dimensioned and has the property that its force acting during the deformation is not greater than that which is necessary for pivoting a waste collector from its retracted into its extended position. For the section 33 of the plug pin 32, a bore with the longitudinal central axis 36 is provided in the joint piece 14.

The waste collector 10 shown in FIG. 2 has a cover 30, the spring body 50 of which can be connected in an articulated manner to the plug pin 32. For this purpose, the spring body 50 has a bore 55 into which the section 33 of the plug pin can be inserted. For the upper leg 54 'recesses 52 and 52' are provided in the lid, while 32 recesses 53 and 53 'are provided for the pin.

The hinge pieces 14 and 16 are comparable to the hinge pieces 14 and 16 of Fig. 1. The continuous rod is replaced by two bolts 20 and 20 '.

In Fig. 3 a part of the cover shown in Fig. 2 is shown with the pin and the spring body in the assembled state.

Wird der Abfallsammler 10 eingefahren, dann gleitet die Oberkante der oberen Halterung auf der Unterseite des Deckels, bis dieser satt auf dem Abfallsammler aufliegt.4 and 5 show a cover 30 which is carried by a rod 60 and is articulated on the joint piece 14. The Joint piece 14 has a recess in which section 63 of rod 60 is rotatably mounted. The lid is also axially symmetrical in the present case, and the longitudinal central axis of the rod 60 is offset with respect to the lid axis 61, here the axis of symmetry of the lid, so that the lid - it is no longer supported on the waste collector 10, one Tilts counterclockwise. The cover 30 is seated in the retracted position of the waste collector 30 on the same side of the cover. If the waste collector is extended, the front side of the cover facing the cabinet door moves upward, so that the waste collector is released. If the waste collector 10 is retracted, the upper edge of the upper holder slides on the underside of the lid until it lies snugly on the waste collector.

Fig. 26 shows a waste collector 10, the upper bracket 12 is formed so that its top side drops to the outside. The upper bracket 12 'is solid and integrally formed with the waste collector. The bracket 12 'is supported by the hinge piece 14 which is connected to the side wall 19. The bracket has two legs 3 and 4, which are articulated to the legs 1 and 2 of the joint piece 14 '. In the lower area, a bearing body 10 is provided, in which the rod 23 is mounted. If the waste collector 10 is now moved from its swiveled-in position shown in FIG. 26 into a swiveled-out position, then the cover 30, which is pivotably mounted in the area 5, is lifted upwards, since the upper edge of the holder 12 'with the bottom side of the cover 30 works together.

It consists of two sections 102 and 104 which can be connected to one another in an articulated manner, the hinge axis 108 of these sections 102 and 104 running transversely to the horizontal rod 60 of the cover 3. The hinge axis 108 runs at right angles to the lid axis 61. The hinge 110 connecting the sections 102 and 104 is designed as a film hinge. The purpose of the joint is that the essential part of the lid, namely the section 102, can also perform tilting movements, which can be important if the waste collector has waste that protrudes beyond the upper edge of the waste collector. The bottom of section 102 has an arcuate reinforcing rib 106 with cams 103 and 105 which slide on the upper edge of the waste collector when the waste collector is pivoted in and out so that the cover 30 can perform tilting movements around the rod 60. One control curve 103 is provided for the waste collector that can be hooked in on the right, while the other control curve 105 is intended for the waste collector that can be hooked in on the left. As can be seen in particular in FIG. 9, an opening 112 is provided in the end face of the section 104, into which the rod 60, which serves as a joint, can be inserted.

The circular recess 121 is defined by an outer ring 120 and an inner ring 123. The inner ring 123 carries a plurality of axially projecting projections 122, 124 and 126, between which and the outer ring 120 the bottom side of a waste collector, which is defined by a circular web, can be latched. In the bottom of the bottom Bracket are formed two recess 128 for a driver, as shown in FIGS. 22 to 25. This driver is firmly connected to the cabinet door and works with the lower bracket when the cabinet door is swung in or out.

An annular gap 131 is formed between these rings 130 and 132, into which the upper edge of the waste collector can be inserted. The receptacle 22 widens upwards and is provided for a hinge pin, not shown.

The horizontal leg 70 has a vertically extending bore 72 for a bolt, not shown. The vertically extending leg 78 of the joint piece 14 is approximately trapezoidal in cross section, its two side walls 80 and 82 each having a bore 74 and 76 for the pin 32. In the central region of the leg 70, two projections 73 and 75, which drop obliquely downward, are provided, on which the cover 30 can be supported via its edges 97 and 99, respectively. The projections 73 and 75 serve as pivoting limits for the lid. The upper joint piece is a symmetrical body and is formed in one piece, so that it can be provided for both the right and the left wall of the cabinet. The hinge piece 14 can be indirectly connected to the cabinet wall by holding means for which a recess 79 is provided in the rear of the hinge piece.

Fig. 10) betrieblich verbindbar. Finally, FIGS. 22 to 25 show a driver which can be connected to the cabinet door and which is also L-shaped in cross section. The vertically extending leg 100 can be connected to the inside of the cabinet door, specifically via the bores 92 and 94, into which screws can be screwed. The vertically extending leg 98 has a latching projection 96 which tapers towards the vertical leg 100. This locking projection can be operatively connected to the recess 128 (see FIG. 10). If the cabinet door is to be opened without extending the waste collector, then it is first e.g. partially opened, the waste collector is then raised slightly and the cabinet door is pivoted slightly outwards and detached from the lower bracket. In this position, the cabinet door is no longer operationally connected to the lower bracket; the waste collector is retracted and extended rather directly, for example by swiveling it out or in by hand. If the cabinet door is now pressed slightly against the waste collector, then the projection 96 slides over its incline on the underside of the lower holder until the projection 96 engages in the receptacle 128.
