Description

The invention relates to a rack system with side by side shelves, each with a plurality of stacked shelves, with a movable on and along the shelves with vertical guide profiles for a lifting and lowering loading and unloading device with at least one on the side facing away from the shelves and projecting loading and unloading table that can be retracted or extended into the shelves for the goods to be stored or removed.

Such a rack system is known in which the support frame for the loading and unloading device is moved not only on the shelves but also on the floor. For this purpose, a running track running along the shelves is laid on the floor. Furthermore, a loading and unloading trolley is provided, which has a C-shaped chassis open towards the shelves. This known rack system is used essentially for storing and retrieving pallets, which are removed from the loading and unloading trolley by means of retractable loading and unloading spars and inserted into the shelf compartments or vice versa. Such a racking system cannot be used where the lower space for the material flow is to remain free, for example for heavy and bulky goods in terms of weight, such as pressing tools or the like. The invention is used here.

The invention has for its object to provide a rack system of the type described above, in which the lower space remains free for the flow of material and still a perfect loading or removal of the stored goods is ensured in this lower space.

This object is achieved by the invention in a generic rack system in that the support frame is designed as an open bottom or vice versa U-shaped frame and the vertical guide profiles end at a predetermined height from the floor and have end stops that a lifting frame is lifted in the support frame can be lowered and telescopically extended from the supporting frame below, that the lifting frame has vertical rails for the loading and unloading table which can be moved vertically in the lifting frame, that the lifting frame is suspended from the driven loading and unloading table and after reaching the stops on the vertical guide profiles of the Support frame is suspended from these stops in the course of the telescopic extension and the loading and unloading table in the lifting frame can be moved with stops for the loading and unloading table alone until the lower end of the frame is reached. These measures of the invention have the result that a guideway for the support frame, which carries the entire loading and unloading device, is dispensed with, rather the support frame ends at a predetermined height distance from the floor and can be moved in the usual manner on a running rail, which is laid on the shelves, is supported by rollers at the lower end of the vertical guide profiles against a horizontal track along the shelves. The dimensions of the supporting frame and lifting frame are of course chosen so that the supporting frame can accommodate the entire lifting frame with the loading and unloading table. Nevertheless, loading of the shelves below the supporting frame is possible because the lifting frame can be telescopically extended downwards as required and the loading and unloading table can be moved downwards in the lifting frame. The lifting frame is suspended from the loading and unloading table. So if the loading and unloading table is moved downwards, the lifting frame suspended on it follows inevitably. Only when the stops are reached the lower ends of the support frame, the lifting frame is practically suspended on these stops and the loading and unloading table can be moved downwards in the lifting frame alone to load the shelves located there or to remove the stored goods stored in these shelves. If the loading and unloading table is then raised again, it finally picks up the suspended lifting frame again and can be moved together with the lifting frame to its upper starting position or any intermediate position. It is always ensured that the lower space, that is, the space below the support frame, remains free for the material flow and nevertheless the shelves located there can be properly loaded or emptied.

Further features essential to the invention are listed below. So the invention teaches that the vertical guide profiles of the support frame and the vertical rails of the lifting frame each have two-sided treads for cheek-like drives on the one hand on both sides at the upper end of the lifting frame and on the other hand on both sides of the loading and unloading table. This ensures a tilt-free and flawless movement on the one hand of the lifting frame in the supporting frame up to its lower end, and on the other hand of the loading and unloading table between the upper and lower ends of the lifting frame. The stops at the lower ends of the vertical guide profiles of the support frame are preferably designed as plate-like stops for running up the lower wheels of the drives on the lifting frame. Below these stops, according to a further recommendation of the invention, horizontal casters with vertical running axles can be mounted, which bear against a horizontal running rail along the shelves in order to achieve proper support of the support frame there. The cheeks of the drives of the loading and unloading table preferably form the suspension for the lifting frame, which overlaps the two cheeks with a traverse. The loading and unloading table can be suspended by means of a driven cable pull with the interposition of cable pulleys or deflection pulleys on the support frame and on the cheeks of the drives and can be moved in height. The drive unit for the cable can be attached to the side of the support frame. The drive unit for the support frame itself is attached to the U-base of the support frame above the shelves. The loading and unloading table can be divided into individual tables, for example designed as a twin table, the individual tables being able to be moved into and out of the shelf compartments independently of one another. Drive motors and friction wheels or pinions driven therefrom are provided for the individual tables, the pinions engaging in toothed racks or toothed rack profiles below the individual tables. This is not shown in detail. The latter also applies to the possibility of equipping the loading and unloading tables with loading or unloading chains, which are driven independently of one another and rotate the loading and unloading table in the direction of storage or retrieval, so that the transfer of goods that are heavy in terms of weight, such as pressing tools is facilitated.

In the figures, a rack system with shelves 1 arranged side by side, each with a plurality of shelf compartments 2 arranged one above the other, is shown in its basic structure, a support frame 3 which can be moved on and in front of the shelves 1, with vertical guide profiles 4 for a lifting and lowering loading and unloading device with at least one loading and unloading table 5 projecting on the side facing away from the shelves 2 and extending or retractable into the shelves for the stored goods to be stored or removed. The support frame 3 is designed as an open bottom or vice versa U-shaped frame. The vertical guide profiles 4 end at a predetermined height distance H from the floor and have end stops 6 on the one hand and horizontal rollers 7 with vertical running axes on the other. By means of these rollers 7, the support frame 3 is supported against a horizontal rail 8 along the shelves 1. A lifting frame 9 can be raised and lowered in the supporting frame 3. This lifting frame 9 is telescopically extendable from the bottom of the support frame 3. The lifting frame 9 has vertical travel rails 10 for the loading and unloading table 5 which can be moved vertically in the lifting frame 9. The lifting frame 9 is suspended from the driven loading and unloading table 5 and, after reaching the stops 6, is suspended from the vertical guide profiles 4 of the supporting frame 3 in the course of the telescopic extension. The loading and unloading table 5 can then be moved in the lifting frame 9 alone until it reaches the lower end of the frame, which has stops 11 for the loading and unloading table 5. The vertical guide profiles 4 of the support frame 3 and the vertical rails 10 of the lifting frame 9 each have running surfaces 12 and 13 on both sides for cheek-like drives 14 and 15 on the one hand on both sides at the upper end of the lifting frame 9 and on the other hand on both sides of the loading and unloading table 5. For this reason, the stops 6 at the lower ends of the vertical guide profiles 4 as plate-like contact surfaces for the lower Wheels 16 of the drives 14 are formed on the lifting frame 9. The cheeks 17 of the drives 15 of the loading and unloading table 5 form the suspension for the lifting frame 9, which overlaps the two cheeks 17 with a cross member 18. To this extent, the lifting frame 9 is also a drag frame. The loading and unloading table 5 is suspended by means of a driven cable 19 with the interposition of cable pulleys 20 or deflecting pulleys on the support frame 3 and on the cheeks 17 of the drives 15 and can be moved in height. A drive unit 21 for the cable 19 is laterally attached to a vertical guide profile 4 of the support frame 3. The drive unit 22 for the support frame 3 itself is located above the shelves 1 and is attached to the U-base of the support frame 3. This is only hinted at. The loading and unloading table 5 is divided into spar-like individual tables 5a, 5b, namely designed as a twin table. Each of these individual tables 5a, 5b can be moved into and out of the shelf compartments 2 independently of one another. The drive mechanism for the individual tables is not shown.
