Installation modulaire pour le transport contrôlé de pièces ou de produits dans une unité ou une ligne de fabrication, de montage, de conditionnement etc., comprenant un réseau de rails et un ensemble de palettes agencées pour circuler sur ce réseau de rails, dans laquelle le réseau de rails est conçu pour véhiculer l'énergie électrique nécessaire à l'alimentation de moyens d'entraînement des palettes, et dans laquelle chaque palette comporte ses propres moyens d'entraînement ainsi que ses moyens de prise de l'énergie électrique pour connecter le réseau de rails auxdits moyens d'entraînement, caractérisée en ce que le réseau comporte au moins un noeud simple et/ou au moins un noeud de décision, le noeud simple étant agencé pour assurer de façon automatique une tâche déterminée qui est enclenchée par l'arrivée d'une palette, et le noeud de décision étant connecté à un organe de commande agencé pour effectuer le choix dans la gamme des tâches dudit noeud, en fonction d'un paramètre extérieur, à l'arrivée d'une palette, et un dispositif anti-collision porté par la palette agencé pour empêcher toute collision avec un obstacle quelconque disposé sur le réseau de rails.1.
