Definitions
- the invention relates to low-voltage switches with a locking lever, which can be designed as a disconnector or as a circuit breaker and in which the locking lever prevents the actuating handle from being transferred to the off position when the contacts of the switch are blocked, according to the preamble of claim 1.
- a low-voltage circuit breaker which is equipped with a locking lever for breaking open blocked contacts.
- This locking lever is rotatably mounted on the selector shaft.
- the locking lever engages like a fork over a work surface on the drive lever of the actuating device and the joint of the knee joint lever, the fork having a suitable play with the abovementioned attachment points. If an attempt is made to turn off the circuit breaker when the movable contact block is blocked, the locking lever with its fork arm is first carried along over the working surface of the drive lever until the other fork arm is removed against the knee joint pin. With a certain amount of force on the actuating handle, the toggle levers can be bent in the switch-off direction.
- an electrical switching device which acts as an emergency stop switch.
- the switching device receives the mode of operation as an emergency stop switch in that the drive lever and the toggle lever articulated on the abutment have cooperating work surfaces in the switch-off direction, which exert a force component acting in the sense of separation on a switching element that remains incorrectly in the switched-on position. Also, a roller coupled to the drive lever comes to rest on the upper knee joint plate when it is switched off. An action of a locking lever for coupling the drive lever and the contact arm is not present in this switching device.
- DE-U-80 23 509 shows a low-voltage circuit breaker with a locking lever against the transfer of the actuating handle to the off position when the movable contact block is blocked in the on position.
- the locking lever is mounted in a bearing point formed in the housing base and is connected to the actuating handle with its end opposite the bearing point.
- a working surface is formed by a bulge which, when switched on, is at a short distance from the knee joint pin of the knee lever.
- the locking lever has an extension with a settlement that as Working surface cooperates with a counter surface of the movable contact.
- the unwinding of the locking lever comes to rest on the contact piece carrier and blocks the further pivoting of the drive lever.
- leverage around the bearing on the housing base can exert a force on the carrier, which in some cases is sufficient to separate the welded contact points.
- the effect of the locking lever in this device is determined by the position of the selector shaft in the switch housing.
- the invention has for its object to provide a simple, space-saving and at the same time directly acting locking mechanism in a compact switch lock regardless of the position and embodiment of the control shaft.
- the invention has the advantage that the arrangement of the locking plate behind the upper knee joint plate requires no additional space in the switch housing and operational movements within the key switch are not hindered.
- the function of the locking tab can be optimized in an advantageous manner by designing the guide link in the drive lever.
- the movable contact 1 of the low-voltage circuit breaker is rotatably mounted on an axis 2 in a control shaft 3.
- the bearing 4 of the control shaft 3 is arranged in a stationary manner in a switch housing, not shown.
- the axis 2 is at the same time the point of attack of a lower knee joint bracket 5.
- An associated upper knee joint bracket 6 is supported on a bolt 7 which is located on a latch lever 8.
- the pawl lever 8 is used to trigger the overcurrent of the switch lock and is rotatably mounted on an axis 9, which in turn is mounted in a fixed position in a lock holder 10.
- the lock holder 10 serves as a support frame for the switch lock of the switch and is in the switch housing - z. B.
- the knee joint bracket 5 and 6 is arranged on both sides of the ratchet lever 8 and is connected in the middle to a knee joint pin 16.
- two locking plates 11 are rotatably mounted on the axis 9. These locking tabs are over driving bolts 12 coupled to the drive lever 13, wherein the driving bolts 12 are guided in scenes of the drive lever 13.
- the drive lever 13 is rotatably mounted on stationary bearing bolts 14 and is firmly connected to an actuating handle 15 which is led out of the switch housing.
- Between the knee joint bolt 16 and a bolt 17 which is suspended in the upper region of the drive lever 13 are on both sides of the Pawl lever 8 each have a drive spring 18 arranged.
- Lock holder 10 and drive lever 13 are also arranged on both sides of the pawl lever 8. With 22 a trigger shaft is shown, with which the triggering of the pawl lever 8 is controlled in a known manner.
- Fig. 1 shows that in the operating position ON, the locking tabs 11 serve as a stop for the knee joints by the upper knee link tabs 6 come to rest on the locking tabs 11 in the contact points 20.
- the driving bolts 12 are in this operating position on an extension 25 of the lock holder 10 and thus form a stop for the drive lever 13.
- In the operating position ON there is an opening 23 between the movable contact 1 and the switching shaft 3, such that the short end of the contact 1 movement has against a stop surface of the control shaft 3.
- the arrow 21 shows the direction of movement of the operating handle 15 when it is switched off.
- the locking tabs 11 come into contact with the upper knee joint tabs 6 when they are switched off in the contact points 24.
- the locking tabs 11 exert a torque in the opening direction of the knee joints on the upper knee joint tabs 6. If the force component of the springs migrates beyond the bolt 7 when the knee joints are opened, the knee joints collapse and the contacts are switched off.
- Fig. 3 shows the process of switching off or tripping via the trigger shaft 22 when the contacts of the switch are welded.
- the knee joints and also the selector shaft 3 move in the switch-off direction 21 to Through stroke 23 between contact 1 and selector shaft 3 is canceled.
- the drive lever 13 with the coupled locking tabs 11 can only be tracked so far in the case of welded contacts that the locking tabs 11 come to rest on the upper knee-link tabs 6, which are in a blocked intermediate position after the through stroke 23 has been canceled. If one tried to move the actuating handle 15 further in the switch-off direction 21, the locking tabs 11 on the upper knee-link plates 6 would generate a moment in the switch-off direction.
- the operating handle 15 would, however, only be able to be moved if the contact welding breaks open.
- the function of the locking tabs 11 with regard to the blocking position of the drive lever 13 and the breaking force acting on the welded contacts can be optimized by designing the guide links for the bolts 12.
- arrow 19 shows the direction of movement of the operating handle 15 when switched on. In the illustrated OFF position of the switch, there is no contact between the locking tabs 11 and the upper knee joint tabs 6.

Description
The invention relates to low-voltage switches with a locking lever, which can be designed as a disconnector or as a circuit breaker and in which the locking lever prevents the actuating handle from being transferred to the off position when the contacts of the switch are blocked, according to the preamble of
From DE-C-30 33 213 a low-voltage circuit breaker has become known, which is equipped with a locking lever for breaking open blocked contacts. This locking lever is rotatably mounted on the selector shaft. The locking lever engages like a fork over a work surface on the drive lever of the actuating device and the joint of the knee joint lever, the fork having a suitable play with the abovementioned attachment points. A further movement of the drive lever is then not possible. When designing the fork arm of the locking lever, care must be taken to ensure that all operational movements within the circuit breaker are not obstructed or that disruptive wear is prevented. In the case of switches with compression-molded control shafts, the use of this locking lever is problematic. Since different switch series have a different distance between the control shaft and the knee joint, a coordinated locking lever is also required for each series.
In DE-C-30 33 212 an electrical switching device is shown which acts as an emergency stop switch. The switching device receives the mode of operation as an emergency stop switch in that the drive lever and the toggle lever articulated on the abutment have cooperating work surfaces in the switch-off direction, which exert a force component acting in the sense of separation on a switching element that remains incorrectly in the switched-on position. An action of a locking lever for coupling the drive lever and the contact arm is not present in this switching device.
Die Wirkung des Sperrhebels ist bei dieser Vorrichtung mit durch die Lage der Schaltwelle im Schaltergehäuse bestimmt.DE-U-80 23 509 shows a low-voltage circuit breaker with a locking lever against the transfer of the actuating handle to the off position when the movable contact block is blocked in the on position. The locking lever is mounted in a bearing point formed in the housing base and is connected to the actuating handle with its end opposite the bearing point. In the central area of the locking lever, a working surface is formed by a bulge which, when switched on, is at a short distance from the knee joint pin of the knee lever. Furthermore, the locking lever has an extension with a settlement that as Working surface cooperates with a counter surface of the movable contact. If the moving contact piece remains in the switch-on position when it is switched off by the actuating handle, the unwinding of the locking lever comes to rest on the contact piece carrier and blocks the further pivoting of the drive lever. By pressing the actuating handle, leverage around the bearing on the housing base can exert a force on the carrier, which in some cases is sufficient to separate the welded contact points. The effect of the locking lever in this device is determined by the position of the selector shaft in the switch housing.
The invention has for its object to provide a simple, space-saving and at the same time directly acting locking mechanism in a compact switch lock regardless of the position and embodiment of the control shaft.
This object is achieved by the features specified in the characterizing part of
The invention has the advantage that the arrangement of the locking plate behind the upper knee joint plate requires no additional space in the switch housing and operational movements within the key switch are not hindered. The function of the locking tab can be optimized in an advantageous manner by designing the guide link in the drive lever.

In the exemplary embodiment, the
Fig. 1 shows that in the operating position ON, the
According to FIG. 2, the locking
Fig. 3 shows the process of switching off or tripping via the
In Fig. 4,
