Abstract

Eine solche Abwickelvorrichtung ist durch die US-PS 3 327 959 bekannt. Dabei wird die sich leerende Rolle aus der Abwickelposition herausgehoben und die neue Mutterrolle aus ihrer Warteposition in die Abwickelposition gefördert. Die von der Rolle in der neuen Position weiterhin abgewickelte Bahn ist um eine als Leitwalze ausgebildete Traverse geführt, welche sich nahe entlang dem Umfang der neuen Mutterrolle in Abwickelposition erstreckt. Der neue Bahnanfang auf der Mutterolle ist mit einem Klebestoffauftrag versehen, um den Bahnanfang mit der auslaufenden Bahn der Leerrolle zu verbinden. Hierzu muß die Umfangsgeschwindigkeit der Mutterrolle an die Geschwindigkeit der abgewickelten Bahn angeglichen werden. Die Traverse 38 der Trennvorrichtung 37 ist an ihrem der Bahnlaufrichtung entgegengerichteten Rand mit einem Perforationskamm 41 zum Trennen der Bahn 13 ausgestattet. Anschließend wird von der Maschinensteuerung der Schubmotor 34 der Spleißvorrichtung 31 in Betrieb gesetzt, welche die Traverse 35 in bezüglich der Rollenachse 14 annähernd radialer Richtung gegen den Umfang der in der Abwickelposition befindlichen neuen Mutterrolle 12 bewegen. Die für die Ausführung dieser Bewegung benötigte Bahnlänge wird dabei durch Zurückfahren der Tänzerwalze 43 in Pfeilrichtung gewonnen. Dabei trifft das an der Traverse 35 gehaltene Bahnende auf das Klebeband 45 am Bahnanfang 44. Claims (7)

  1. A reeling-off device for paper or cardboard web or the like, which is associated with a carrier cylinder, a support cylinder and the like, with the following features:
    a) a reel-off device (11), in which a supply reel (12) is placed with the ends of its reel axis (14) on guide tracks (15) and is movable by means of a transport mechanism (18) from a standby position to a reeling-off position;
    b) a separating device (37) for separating the length (13), which has been reeled off the supply roll, transversely to the movement direction of the length;
    c) a device (25) for lifting an empty spool (17), which has been separated from the reeled-off length (13), from the reeling-off position and setting it down in a store;
    d) a device for splicing (31) the ends of the reeled-off length to the start of a new supply roll (12) placed in the reel-off position, comprising a tubular traverse (35), which extends parallel with the cylinder axis (14) and which is wrapped around by the end of the length and movable by means of its drive towards the supply reel which is peripherally provided with a glue application,
    e) behind the splicing device (31), as seen in the movement direction of the length, is arranged a dancer roll (43), which on running out of roll (17) dips into the reeled-off length (13) and which retracts during execution of the splicing process:
    characterised in that
    f) the splicing device (31) is movable by its drive (36) from a position in which the traverse (35) has no length contact transversely to the movement direction of the length up to partially wrapping the traverse (35) towards the reeled-off length (13);
    g) when the length comes to a standstill, the separating device (37) takes up an operational position, which clamps the length (13) to the traverse (35) of the splicing device (31) and from which the separating device can be returned into its inoperative position after separation of the length by lifting the empty spool (17) from the unwinding position;
    h) the new supply reel (12') in its reel-off position is fixed in a position in which the applied glue (45) is located on the periphery of the roll in the movement path of the end of the length (46), which after separation is held on the traverse (35) and moved towards the supply roll;
    i) the traverse (35) is arranged as a rotating suction roller, the casing of which comprises suction bores (47);
    j) the section roller (35) is coupled to a locking brake.
  2. Device according to claim 1, characterised in that the splicing device (31) has on the one hand the traverse (35) at least virtually rectangular to the reeled-off length (13), and on the other hand drive means (36, 45) which are movable at least virtually radially to the roller axis (30̸).
  3. Device according to claim 2, characterised in that the traverse (35) is mounted to be transversely movable by means of thrust motors (36) on a pivotable element (32) which is pivotable parallel to the roller axis (30̸).
  4. Device according to claim 1, characterised in that the separating device (37) comprises in front of the traverse (35) of the splicing device (31), as seen in the movement direction of the length, a perforation comb (41) which is laid against the length (13).
  5. Device according to claim 1, characterised in that the separating device (37) comprises a hose (42) which pushes the length against the traverse (35) of the splicing device (31).
  6. Device according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the traverse (35) of the splicing device (31) is arranged on the one side of the length (13), and the separating device (37) on the other side thereof.
  7. Device according to claim 1, characterised in that, whilst in the reel-off position, the supply roll (12') is coupled to a braking generator which engages the roller axis (30̸).
