Abstract

A push-button device, having a guide member (8) between a button head (1) and a guide body (3), is intended to be able to be assembled easily. In order to be able to fit the button head (1) carrying the guide member (8) onto the guide body (3) simply, a latching device (18, 22) holds the guide member (8) in a latched position. In the latched position, stop regions (11, 13) of the guide member (8) are located in front of engagement slots (24, 25). If the button head (1) is pressed down, the guide member (8) moves out of the latched position into the operating position. The stop regions (11, 13) pass into the engagement slots (24, 25). <IMAGE>

Description

The invention relates to a pushbutton device with a button head, which can be depressed from an operating position to a switching position for actuating an electrical switching contact, and with a guide body assigned to it on an arrangement carrying the switching contact, a guide member, such as scissors, between the button head and the guide body or bracket is arranged, which in the operating position and in the switching position engages with its first stop area in engagement slots of the guide body and with its other, second stop area in receptacles of the key top.

Such push button devices are already known (DE-OS 33 29 698); there the guide link is formed by double scissors. As a result, reliable parallel guidance of the key head relative to the guide body is achieved even with comparatively large key heads. Such parallel guidance ensures that the desired switching process is triggered regardless of the point at which the key head is depressed, without jamming or jamming of the key head interfering with this.

Pushbutton devices are also known in which a bracket is provided as a guide member. Such a guide member is mostly used with very long key heads.

In the known push button devices, the assembly of the button head carrying the guide member on the guide body is cumbersome. Because the movable guide member must be inserted from the edge into the engagement slots of the guide body, while the key top must be kept in an aligned position.

The object of the invention is to improve a push button device of the type mentioned in such a way that the button head with the guide member can be assembled and disassembled on the guide body in a simple manner and without impairing adjacent devices. This object is achieved in that a latching device is formed on the push button device, which holds the guide member in a latching position, that in the latched position with the button head placed on the guide body, the first stop area of the guide member lies in front of openings in the engagement slots and that by depressing the button head on the guide body, the guide member passes from the latched position into the operating position, the first stop region coming into the engagement slots.

As a result, there is advantageously no need to manipulate when mounting the key head on the guide body; in addition, no special assembly devices are required here. Since the assembly is carried out from above in the direction of actuation of the button head, it can also be carried out here if other button heads are already installed in the vicinity of the button head.

It is also favorable that, if necessary, the button head can be pulled off with the guide member upwards. This means that the position of the button head relative to the guide body, e.g. can be changed by moving or turning the button head. This is advantageous if one of several switch contacts provided in the guide body or in the grid can be actuated with the button head.

A cylindrical key tappet (2) is formed on this. The button head (1) is assigned a guide body (3) which is composed of the same symmetrically designed guide body parts (3 ', 3˝). A guide sleeve (4) for the key tappet (2) is formed on the guide body (3). The guide body (3) is attached to a plate (5) on which a switching film (6) is arranged. A switching dome (7) of the switching film (6) lies in the base of the guide sleeve (4).

Between the button head (1) and the guide body (3) a pair of scissors (8) is provided as a guide member, which has two arms (9, 10). A pin (11 to 14) is formed at the two ends of each arm (9, 10).

In the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 to 3, a receptacle (15) is provided on the key top (1), in which a bearing shell (16) for the pin (12) is formed. The pin (12) is thus rotatable in the receptacle (15), but is mounted immovably.

Figuren 1 bis 4).A receptacle (17) for the pin (14) of the arm (10) is also provided on the button head (1). A locking cam (18) is formed in the receptacle (17). This forms on the one hand a stop surface (19) and on the other hand a stop surface (20) for the pin (14) (cf. FIGS. 1 to 4).

In the embodiment according to FIG. 1, a stop (22) is formed in the region of the articulation point (21) of the scissors (8). This prevents the arms (9, 10) from being able to be moved further towards one another in the direction of the arrows (A) than is shown in FIG. 1.

In the exemplary embodiments according to FIGS. 3 and 4, a further stop surface (23) is provided instead of the stop (22) in the receptacle (17).

Die Gestaltung der Aufnahme (15) entspricht also der Gestaltung der Aufnahme (17).In the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 4, a latching cam (18) with stop faces (19, 20) and a stop face (23) is provided in the receptacle (15) instead of the bearing shell (16). The design of the receptacle (15) thus corresponds to the design of the receptacle (17).

On the guide body (3) engagement slots (24, 25) are formed for the pins (11, 13), which have openings (26, 27) on one side.

Die Funktionsweise der beschriebenen Einrichtung ist etwa folgende:The functioning of the described device is approximately as follows:

Before mounting the button head (1) on the guide body (3), the scissors (8) on the button head (1) are brought into a detent position. In the locked position, the arm (10) and thus also the arm (9) is blocked. In the embodiment according to FIG. 1, this is achieved in that the pin (14) bears on the stop surface (19) of the latching cam (18) and the arms (9, 10) abut one another on the stop (22). In the embodiment of Figure 3, this is achieved in that the pin (14) between the stop surface (19) and the stop surface (23) is held. In the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 4, this is achieved in that the pin (12) is also held in the receptacle (15) between the stop surface (19) and the stop surface (23).

The key head (1) is then aligned with the scissors (8) in the locking position on the guide body (3). The key tappet (2) engages in the respective guide sleeve (4). The pins (11, 13) lie at the openings (26, 27) of the engagement slots (24, 25) and then stand on the bottom of the engagement slots (24, 25).

Figur 2). Then press the button (1) in the direction of arrow (B). The pin (14) thus snaps over the stop surface (19) of the locking cam (18) into the receptacle (17). In the embodiment of Figure 4, the pin (12) snaps over the stop surface (19) of the locking cam (18) of the receptacle (15). The pins (11, 13) enter the engagement slots (24, 25). The button head (1) is now in its operating position (see FIG. 2). From the operating position, the button head (1) is pushed in by pushing in the direction of the arrow (B) bring his switching position in which the push button (2) depresses the switching dome (7) so that electrical contacts arranged in it are closed. When the button head (1) moves between the operating position and the switching position, the pins (11, 13) move in the engagement slots (24 and 25) in the direction of the arrows (C). The pin (14) moves accordingly in the receptacle (17). In the embodiment according to FIG. 4, the pin (12) in the receptacle (15) also moves accordingly.

The button head (1) is reset from the switching position to the operating position by the spring elasticity of the switching dome (7). The return movement into the operating position is limited by the striking of the pin (14) on the stop surface (20) of the latching cam (18).

If the key head (1) is to be removed, it is pulled up in the opposite direction of the arrow (B). The pin (14) snaps over the stop surface (20) so that it comes back into the position shown in FIG. 1. In this position, the pins (11, 13) lie in the openings (26, 27) so that the button head (1) can be removed from the guide body (3) with the scissors (8). The scissors (8) can automatically move into the locked position.

The button head (1) with the scissors (8) can then be rotated against the guide body (3) so that the switching plunger (2) engages in the guide sleeve (4 ') of the guide body part (3') and is accordingly assigned to another switching dome .

In the exemplary embodiments according to FIGS. 5 to 8, the guide member is formed by a bracket (28).

In the embodiment of Figures 5 and 6, the bracket (28) has pins (12, 12 ') which are rotatably mounted in receptacles (15) of the key head (1). On legs (29, 29 ') of the bracket (28) humps (30, 30') are formed, which depressions (31, 31 ') of the button head (1) are assigned. The legs (29, 29 ') are further provided with pins (11, 11'). For the pin (11, 11 ') on the guide body (3) engagement slots (24, 24') are formed.

In the locked position, the humps (30, 30 ') engage in the depressions (31, 31'). If the button head (1) is placed on the guide body (3), then the pins (11, 11 ') are in front of the engagement slots (24, 24') in the latched position of the bracket (28).

Entsprechendes gilt für den Höcker (30′).When the button (1) is depressed, the bumps (30, 30 ') disengage from the recesses (31, 31') and the pins (11, 11 ') enter the engagement slots (24, 24'). The button head (1) is then movable between its operating position and its switching position. The humps (30, 30 ') are freely movable in free spaces (32, 32'). The recess (31, 31 ') forms the stop surfaces (19, 20, 23) for the hump (30). In the locked position, the hump (30) lies between the stop surfaces (19, 23). When the button head (1) returns from the switching position, the hump (30) hits the stop surface (20). The same applies to the hump (30 ').

In the embodiment of Figures 7 and 8, the bracket (28) is a wire bracket. Its ends form the pins (11, 11 '). The bracket (28) has leg portions (32, 32 '), which groove-shaped depressions (31, 31') of the key head (1) are assigned. In the locked position, the leg sections (32, 32 ') are engaged in the recesses (31, 31') which form the abutment surfaces mentioned. The mode of operation corresponds to that described above.
