Abstract

A closure cap for infusion and transfusion bottles having a rim cap which grips around a rim neck of a bottle and has a cutout which is closed by a plastic lid so that an annular zone of the plastic lid grips below the edge of the cutout to obtain a tightly sealed attachment of the lid this attachment can nevertheless be lifted off with relatively little force due to a radially extending intended-bend line of the plastic lid formed by a thinning of the material.

Description

The invention relates to a closure cap for infusion and transfusion bottles, with a flanged cap encircling a flanged neck of the bottle, which has a central recess which is closed by the central region of a plastic cover in such a way that an annular zone of the plastic cover engages under the edge of the central recess .

A closure cap of this type is known from DE-PS 20 40 937. By pulling off the plastic cover, the central recess is exposed for the insertion of an injection needle, a transfusion set or the like through a disc-like sealing plug embedded in the flared neck. For reasons of the indispensable sterility of the transition area between the plastic lid and the crimp cap, an effective germ barrier must be present, which is provided by an annular groove-like sealing joint. The form-fitting encirclement of the central recess by the tough-elastic plastic of the cover, on the other hand, requires relatively high opening forces, which is why a pull tab that is approximately matched to the area size of the central recess is molded onto the plastic cover. The latter attacks in a decentralized manner and overhangs the exposed central area in a close parallel position to the top of the lid. However, this requires complicated technical measures. In order to bring the pull tab into the position within easy reach, it has to be practically at an angle of about 90 ° be kinked. This is a not insignificant risk of demolition; Without such a pull tab, the removal of the plastic cover is basically only possible by using auxiliary tools. But this can lead to damage to the bottle neck.

The object of the invention is to provide a generic cap in a technically simple, more reliable manner without sacrificing tightness so that the cap can be removed more easily despite a stronger connection to the crimp cap.

This object is achieved by the invention specified in claim 1.

The subclaims are advantageous developments of the closure cap according to the invention.

As a result of such an embodiment, a generic closure cap is created which takes into account the basic requirement of the aseptic seal, but can nevertheless be opened by the operating personnel using lower forces. This is easily achieved by at least one radially extending predetermined crease line of the plastic cover formed by thinning the material. When the edge of the plastic lid is grasped, it is simply folded up around it, defined by the said crease line. Since it intersects the central area, half of the ring zone of the connecting point sealingly surrounding the edge of the central recess is levered out, and the rest is slightly pulled out. Depending on the color of the plastic material used for the lid, the resulting so-called "whitening" can even be used for a visual inspection, namely as to whether the infusion bottle is already in use or was not. Such a tamper-evident display increases in the medical field without Doubt the security. In order not to be dependent on a specific area of attack, the opening aid described can be implemented several times on the closure cap, for example by means of a plurality of predetermined bend lines which are provided in a uniform angular distribution and extend from the edge of the plastic cover to the central area. This results in several main areas for the initiation of the lever-favorable folding up of the plastic cover with subsequent pulling out of the ring seal-side remaining sealing section. In order to make the areas of attack optically clear and also to obtain an enlarged area of attack, it is further proposed that the plastic cover has at least one grip tab projecting over the edge of the flange of the flange. For technical reasons, this grip tab can sit at the level of the bottom surface of the cup-shaped plastic lid. In addition, there is also an advantageous embodiment in such a way that corresponding diametrically extending set buckling lines are adjacent and parallel to each other. Another advantageous variant is that the groove also extends through the ring zone, the area defined by it and the wall of the plastic cover. This also makes kinking easier. Finally, the invention also provides an embodiment in such a way that a circumferential tear line is located outside the edge of the central recess, which is gripped by the ring zone, in the ceiling of the crimp cap. By levering off the plastic cover, the fastening area of the crimp cap, which is expediently made of aluminum, is simply lifted out by this configuration. In order to ensure the same possible separation conditions from practically all sides, it has also proven to be advantageous for the tear line to be concentric with the edge of the central recess. The tear line can be taken into account by deep drawing the crimp cap. In general, a notch-like ring gutter is sufficient.

The bottle 2 containing an infusion or transfusion liquid 1 merges into a so-called flared neck 3 via a section which tapers in the shape of a truncated cone. The corresponding wall offset forms an inner annular shoulder 4 for supporting a disk-shaped sealing plug 5 on the edge. This is made of rubber, plastic or other material that can be penetrated by a cannula and closes again.

Der relativ dickwandige Verschlußstopfen 5 schließt mit der Stirnfläche 3′ des Bördelhalses 3 im wesentlichen ebenengleich ab.The relatively thick-walled plug 5 closes with the end face 3 'of the flared neck 3 from substantially the same level.

The germ-inhibiting closure is formed by a sealing cap 6 resting thereon. The latter consists of a pot-shaped crimping cap 7 with a central central recess 8, which is closed by a plastic cover 9.

The crimp cap 7 has a cylindrical pot wall, the edge of which engages under an annular shoulder 10 of the crimp neck 3. The crimp cap 7 is made of relatively thin-walled aluminum. The shoulder-flanging edge is designated 7 '.

Er liegt mit seiner Innenseite an der Unterseite der Decke 11 an.The bottom of the cap forming the ceiling 11 of the cup-shaped crimp cap 7 is flat. The edge of the central recess 8 arranged therein merges into an inverse flare, so that this edge is transversely rounded and is practically double-walled on a short radial section. The ring collar created in this way bears the reference number 12. Its inside lies against the underside of the cover 11.

The connection between the crimp cap 7 and the likewise cup-shaped plastic cover 9 can be made by thermal riveting or by spraying. In the case of thermal riveting, the plastic lid 9 forms a standing collar 13 pointing in the direction of the bottle, the outer diameter of which corresponds to the inside diameter of the circular central recess 8. The cylindrically shaped stand-up collar 13 passes through said center recess 8 when assigned, after which the projecting collar portion 13 'is turned outwards. The related connection area proves to be tight and thus an effective germ barrier. Basically, the edge of the central recess 8 then lies in an annular groove.

Gleiches gilt im Grunde für die Dicke der Decke 9˝ des Kunststoff-Deckels 9.The outer wall of the crimp cap 7 is only partially overlapped by the cylindrical wall 9 'of the plastic cover 9, approximately over a third of the axial length. The pot wall 9 'of the plastic cover 9 is many times thicker than that of the crimp cap 7. The same basically applies to the thickness of the ceiling 9' of the plastic cover 9.

In order to use the infusion liquid 1, only the plastic cover 9 needs to be removed. This means removal of the connection between the latter and the crimp cap 7, which, with its annular surface, overlaps the sealing plug 5 in the edge region (that in FIGS. 5 and 9 shown gap-like distance is greatly exaggerated for reasons of clarity). The corresponding loosening of the plastic cap 9 is facilitated by at least one radially extending nominal crease line xx of the plastic cover 9 formed by material thinning. The nominal crease lines xx are formed by a groove 14. This is located on the underside 15 of the plastic Lid 9. The grooves 14 begin at the level of the jacket wall of the central ring collar 13 and extend, seen in extension, diametrically extending, so cutting the longitudinal center axis yy of the rotationally symmetrical bottle 2, up to the cylindrical inner surface of the pot wall 9 '. The groove can also be on the top of the cover.

Fig. 7). The depth of the groove corresponds to approximately 4/5 of the thickness of the ceiling 9˝ of the plastic cover 9. The width of the groove 14 corresponds to the depth (see FIG. 7). In the arrangement of the same angle shown in FIG. 6 of a total of four grooves 14, two of which each run in a linear orientation and intersect the longitudinal central axis y-y, fold halves are produced when the angles are raised. It is based on an inexpensive long lever arm, which lifts the ring collar 13 forming the fastening section exactly in half. The rest of the excavation works accordingly without any great effort. This half can be pulled out practically parallel to the groove.

With plastic covers with groove on the top, the areas of attack can be visually recognized. If, however, as described in the exemplary embodiment, the groove is made on the underside of the said lid, it proves to be easy to use that the plastic lid 9 has at least one grip tab 16 which projects horizontally over the flanged edge 7 'of the flared cap 7 (so it needs the quite narrow edge of the lid not to be caught). It is a cap-like, at the ceiling 9˝ extending formations, which also leads to an even larger lever arm lead length. The grip tabs 16 each protrude perpendicular to the diametrical nominal crease line xx. Their free ends are cut parallel to the line in question. Your side flanks 16 'run as a convex arc sections tangent into the outer surface of the pot wall 9'. In the four-way distribution of the grooves 16 used in FIGS. 6 and 8, the grip tabs 16 have an essentially trapezoidal outline. The larger base area is rooted in the jacket wall and takes a correspondingly curved course. The floor plan is practically a circle in a square. The side flanks 16 'there of the handle straps 16 are therefore at right angles to one another.

Fig. 6, strichpunktierte Eintragung). Der Reststeg entspricht der Dicke der verbleibenden Materialbrücke im Querschnittsbereich der Nut 16.In order to make the area circumscribed by the ring collar 13 and the ring collar itself more flexible, the grooves 14 can alternatively be continued in the circumscribed inner surface in the same direction and also include the pot wall 9 'of the plastic cover 9 (see FIG. 6, dot-dash lines) Registration). The corresponding groove cuts through to the respective rim of the pot. On the other hand, there is also the possibility of taking out the back of this surface as a material, as can be seen in FIG. 9. The corresponding top recess has the reference number 17. It can also be located below. The remaining web corresponds to the thickness of the remaining material bridge in the cross-sectional area of the groove 16.

The embodiment according to FIG. 11 is modified compared to that according to FIG. 10, in that there are further target bending lines x'-x 'extending adjacent to the longitudinal center axis yy crossing the diametrical target bending line xx parallel to it, which now continuous groove 14 runs in the middle of each ceiling half. The peripheral area-like surface area of the plastic cover first lifts off, followed by armor-chain-like material that is connected to the ring collar 13 Section etc. The groove can also cut through the pot wall here.

The exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 12 to 15 is designed with respect to the underside grooving of the plastic cover 9 in the same way as the previous examples, in particular that according to FIG. 8. The reference numbers are therefore used analogously, without repeated text. The difference, however, is that outside the collar portion 13 engaging under the edge of the central recess 8 'in the ceiling 11 of the crimp cap 7 there is a circumferential tear line z. The latter runs concentrically to the edge of the central recess 8. When the plastic cover 9 is lifted, the annular central ceiling section 11 'fastened via the annular collar 13 of the plastic cover 9' separates from the ceiling 11 of the crimp cap 7. It is cleanly separated. In this way, there remains even a somewhat larger central recess 8 in the ceiling 11 for inserting the injection needle.

The channel bottom ends under load of a fraction of the initial thickness of the ceiling 11 in front of the underside of the ceiling. The corresponding channel embossing can also be taken into account when deep-drawing the aluminum crimp cap 7. The ring-shaped ceiling section defined by it rises slightly towards the center. The top of the plastic cover 9 also takes a corresponding course.

In a further development to the solution according to FIG. 8, the groove 14 also extends there into the pot wall 9 '. Radially inward, however, the groove 14 ends at the level of the outward facing end 13˝ of the collar portion 13 '. In this plane, a lateral thickening of the ring collar 13 extends in vertical alignment. The parallel outer ring surface thereof is designated by 13 13. The one from the inner Ab cut of the ceiling formed edge of the central recess 8 experiences a stable border, even with sealing on three sides.

All the new features mentioned in the description and shown in the drawing are essential to the invention, even if they are not expressly claimed in the claims.
