Unterhalb des wasserdurchlässigen, den Festkörper aufnehmenden Bodens ist eine Sprüheinrichtung in Form von ein oder mehr Düsen angeordnet. Das die Düsen verlassende Wasser wird von unten auf den Festkörper gesprüht und löst diesen von unten her allmählich auf. Der im Wasser gelöste Reiniger verläßt das Gehäuse über einen bodenseitigen Ablauf, um über eine Leitung in die Spülmaschine zu gelangen. Die Dosierung erfolgt derart, daß die Sprüheinrichtung so lange in Betrieb bleibt, als Reiniger in der Spülmaschine benötigt wird. Mit dem Stillsetzen der Sprüheinrichtung, das beispielsweise durch eine Meßeinrichtung in der Spülmaschine gesteuert wird, wird auch der Löse- und Speisevorgang kurzfristig stillgesetzt. Eine ähnliche Ausführungsform ist auch für pulverförmige Reiniger bekannt (DE-PS 26 56 413), wobei das Gehäuse einen das Pulver oberhalb der Sprüheinrichtung zurückhaltenden Siebboden aufweist.Devices of the aforementioned structure are known (e.g. DE-GM 84 26 868). Mit dem Schließen der Frontklappe ist das Gerät also sofort betriebsbereit.
