Abstract

A knockdown fishing and/or leisure boat comprises two identical floats on which rests a deck. Each of the floats is provided, in its superior median axis, with a plurality of threaded bolts evenly spaced to assure dismountable attachment of a same quantity of identical deck planks connecting the two floats parallel to each other. This is accomplished by means of an opening provided at each extremity of the planks to allow the threaded bolts of the float to pass through. A manually turnable nut is threaded on each bolt to tighten each plank to the floats.

Description

The present invention relates to the nautical industry and relates more particularly to boats intended for fishing and / or leisure.

Currently, boats of this kind are in the form of boats (wood, fiber, plastic, iron, etc.) or in the form of catamarans convertible into day fishing boats with motor such as that described in French patent 2,554,410. In this one, the transformation operation consists in replacing the you of the catamaran stretched on the metal frame connecting the two floats, by a more rigid floor which will be moored to said frame. The originality relates in particular to the equipment making it possible to replace on the metallic frame, the you to the floor and vice-versa.

Another of these catamarans, such as that described in US Patent No. 2,748,740, comprises two identical floats maintained spaced apart by cross members which, while also serving as a support for a propulsion engine and a rudder, ensures the seat floor made from deck planks which cover said crosspieces parallel to said floats. Assembly and / or disassembly such a catamaran proves to be a long and tedious operation, in particular not conventional fastenings from bolts and tightening nuts complex to implement.

In general, these transformable boats or catamarans have many defects as to their stability, their relative comfort, their transport, and their sedentary lifestyle (because these are the object in situ of degradation and / or theft).

On the basis of these observations, the applicant imagined a removable fishing and / or leisure boat while alleviating the aforementioned drawbacks.

Compared to French Patent ^No. 2,554,410 catamarans and US Patent No. 2,748,740, the boat of the invention already offers the great advantage of avoiding the use of a metal frame stiffener since the floorboards serve as support-spacer and floor and are closely linked at their ends preformed for this purpose with said floats. On the other hand, the modular aspect of the floor made from n
of boards offers the great advantage of facilitating handling, transport and assembly of the boat.

By design, the boat of the invention has a very good balance distribution thus giving it on the water, very good slope stability, especially for hunters or for fishermen installed on it.

By its very simple implementation, this boat is very easily dismountable and transportable since it can be moored on the gallery of a car which eliminates ipso-facto the constraining towing chores, thus limiting the sedentary lifestyle on the spot. In addition, being made up of many identical elements (two floats, four floorboards, nuts with manual screwing, fishing and / or leisure accessories), the realization of this boat is particularly indicated for an industrial manufacture in series.

The presentation in the form of a "kit" or "ready to assemble" of this boat, considerably reduces the space requirement for its transport and also makes it possible to set up new marketing methods in this field. Indeed, the sale of this boat can be ensured by conventional sales techniques applied to other low-volume products, such as mail order in specialized fishing, hunting, leisure magazines, etc.

According to a particularly advantageous characteristic of the invention, the tapped holes are judiciously distributed in each floor board to allow the removable installation of fishing and / or leisure accessories equipped for this purpose with an appropriate threaded male part. Thus, in these tapped holes, it will be possible to install trunk benches, sail masts, the mooring lines of the shrouds, oar holders, the fishing rod support forks, grab handles, etc. which can of course be supplied as an option with the above boat.

As illustrated, this boat consists of two identical floats 1a and 1b shaped in high density polyethylene on which rest four floorboards 2, 3, 4 and 5 shaped as for themselves, in polyester reinforced with molded glass fibers hot press.

As can be seen in more detail in the drawing in Figure 2, the two floats 1a and 1b are each provided, in their upper median axis, with six threads 6a and 6b. On the four central threads, regularly spaced, engage the lights 7a, 7b formed at the two ends of the four floorboards 2, 3, 4 and 5, and nuts with manual screwing 8a, 8b allowing to block, so removable, said boards on floats 1a and 1b.

These boards which cover the entire width of the floats 1a and 1b are juxtaposed on the two floats to define a uniform floor (cf. FIG. 1) and are preformed at their two ends in a configuration which consolidates their connection to the two floats.

On the one hand, they have on their underside a reservation 9a, 9b allowing to embed the upper part of the floats over a certain thickness of said boards.

On the other hand, they adopt, in their section delimited by the reservation 9a, 9b, a T-profile so that the vertical branch of said T 10a, 10b, are housed in a rectangular recess 10aʹ, 10bʹ formed in the upper part of the floats 1a, 1b, over the width of the latter and on either side of each thread 6a, 6b.

Finally, the upper extreme edges of said boards are preformed with a shoulder 11a, 11b delimiting when the boards are assembled on the floats 1a, 1b (cf. FIG. 1) a continuous rim serving as a stop. Advantageously, a cavity (not shown in the drawings) can be provided below the shoulders 11a, 11b, to allow the stacking and wedging of the four boards 2, 3, 4 and 5, for the storage operations and / or transport.

This configuration of the ends of the boards 2, 3, 4 and 5 allows a nested connection of the boards and the floats to be obtained, a close connection which eliminates the presence of a stiffening frame. However, two coupling rods 12 and 13 shaped in a more rigid material than that of the floorboards can be stowed on the floats 1a and 1b, at the front and at the rear of the floor, according to the same removable fixing as that of the above-mentioned boards in order to reinforce the non-deformability of the boat. The rear tie rod 13 can be used as a support bar for a motor propelling the boat.

According to a characteristic particularly advantageous of the invention the two floats 1a and 1b are provided, in their lower central part, with a cavity defining a carrying handle 14a and 14b.

According to another particularly advantageous characteristic of the invention, tapped holes 15 (cf. FIG. 1) are regularly distributed in each floor board to allow the removable installation of fishing and / or leisure accessories (not shown) equipped therefor an appropriate threaded male part.

Thanks to its modular appearance and its assembly mode ready to assemble and ready to be disassembled, the boat which has just been described and represented above finds numerous applications in the field of fishing, hunting, walking, leisure, etc ...

Claims (4)

1. Collapsible fishing and/or leisure boat comprising :

   - two identical floats (1a and 1b),

   - a deck comprising n identical deck planks (2, 3, 4 and 5),

   - bolts (6a, 6b),

   - and turnable nuts (8a and 8b),

   CHARACTERIZED IN THAT :

   - On the one hand, the above said bolts (6a and 6b) comprise several threads evenly spaced on the upper portion of the floats in order to ensure by the means of manually turnable nuts (8a and 8b) dismontable fastening of several deck planks (2, 3, 4 and 5) mounted side by side on the two floats (1a and 1b) for forming a uniform deck and connecting the two floats parallel to each other,

   - On the other hand, the entire width of the two floats (1a, 1b) is covered by the deck planks (2, 3, 4, and 5) whose lower face edges have a preformed recess (9a, 9b) which permits the upper part of the floats to engage said planks over a certain thickness.

   - and at last, a rectangular recess (10a', 10b') is provided in the upper part of the floats (1a, 1b), extending over the width of the latter and both sides of each threaded bolt 6a, 6b so as to receive the vertical bar of the T profile, which each plank of the deck (2, 3, 4, and 5) assumes on its lower face in the section delimited by the recess (9a, 9b).
2. Boat according to claim 1, CHARACTERIZED IN THE THAT the upper edges of the deck planks (2, 3, 4, and 5) have a preformed shoulder (11a, 11b) which forms a border and serves as a barrier.
3. Boats according to claim 1, CHARACTERIZED IN THAT the tapped holes (15) are judiciously distributed over each deck plank (2, 3, 4, and 5) to allow dismountable installation of fishing and/or recreational accessories and are equipped for this purpose whith an appropriately threaded male part.
4. Boats according to claim 1, CHARACTERIZED IN THAT the above said floats (1a, 1b) are provided in their lower central portion whith a cut out defining a tranport handle (14a, 14b).
