Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for preventing the collision of a loading ramp of a cutting machine with the swivel arm or release tool thereof, with which the relative distance between the top of the loading ramp and the cutting arm or release tool is detected, and if the minimum distance of the swivel drive for the loading ramp and / or is undershot the cutting arm is blocked in the direction of one another and / or a signal is emitted.
- Devices of the type mentioned have already become known in various training.
- a collision protection with hydraulic sensors has become known, with which the movement of the cutting arm and loading ramp in the vertical direction to one another was detected, and inadmissible approaches of the components were avoided. Collision protection is particularly necessary with regard to the loading arms arranged on the loading ramp.
- Such loading arms which can be designed, for example, as lobster scissor arms, have a relatively sensitive drive which could be damaged by a collision with the cutting arm.
- a further design of such a collision protection which did not work without contact, has become known from AT-PS 342 537.
- a particularly simple design of a collision protection works with stops which collide with one another before the possible damage to the loading arms of a loading ramp by the cutting arm and in this way a Prevent further movement of the loading ramp and cutter arm towards one another.
- the loading ramp With such supports of the cutting machine by a loading ramp lowered below the tread plane of the crawler chassis, the loading ramp must now take up a large part of the machine weight and if the sole is uneven, this can lead to twisting or transverse positions of the loading ramp to the tread plane of the crawler chassis. If only angular measurements in the vertical direction are taken into account to determine the relative distance between the loading ramp and the cutting arm in the device for preventing the collision, this can still lead to a dangerous collision if the loading ramp is tilted accordingly. On the other hand, a general consideration of a maximally occurring inclination angle of the loading ramp by twisting it would significantly reduce the extent of the undercut or a sole cut and narrow the area of application of the machine.
- the invention now aims to provide a device of the type mentioned, in which, in particular in the case of machines which are supported by raising their front end of the machine by lowering the loading ramp on their loading ramp, a high degree of security against collision is guaranteed and the working area of the machine is not restricted.
- the invention essentially consists in that at least one sensor for the torsion of the loading ramp or the transverse inclination of the loading ramp to the plane given by the running surfaces of the chassis is arranged on the loading ramp.
- the senor can be designed as an inclinometer, wherein preferably at least one inclinometer is fixed on the loading ramp and another inclinometer on the frame of the machine.
- strain gauges in particular in a bridge circuit, can be used in a simple manner, a strain gauge bridge being arranged in a particularly advantageous manner on the trough of the conveying means connected to the loading ramp, in particular the box of the chain conveyor connected to the loading ramp, which is guided relative to the machine.
- a design is always of particular advantage when the loading ramp is rigidly connected to the box of the chain conveyor, and the box of the chain conveyor carries the pivot axis for lowering or raising the loading ramp, which runs essentially parallel to the plane of the sole or the running surface of the crawler track .
- the box of the chain conveyor is usually the component that can be easily twisted, and it can therefore be attached to the box of the chain conveyor in a particularly simple way to measure the amount of twist through a strain gauge bridge.
- a further advantageous embodiment of the invention results from the fact that a gimbal and variable-length or flexible shaft is arranged between the loading ramp and the frame, one end of the shaft being fixed in a rotationally fixed manner and the other end of the shaft being coupled to a rotary sensor.
- Loading ramps are usually raised or lowered relative to the machine frame by two off-center swivel cylinders.
- the detection of the torsion of the loading ramp or the transverse inclination of the loading ramp to the plane given by the running surfaces of the undercarriage can be achieved in a particularly simple manner in such designs by having two angle measuring devices, in particular angle encoders, with the frame with the outside the longitudinal center of the machine Loading ramp articulated struts, especially the pivot cylinders, are connected.
- the elongation can be measured in these cases, in particular using displacement sensors for the piston paths.
- FIG. 1 and 2 show schematic side views of a machine with different cutting arm positions; 3 shows a schematic front view of a cutting machine with an exaggerated inclination of the loading ramp; 4 shows the permissible path of the cutting arm resulting from an inclined position according to FIG. 3; 5 shows a first embodiment of the arrangement of sensors designed as inclinometers; 6 shows a modified design with a plurality of inclinometers; 7 shows an embodiment with a strain gauge bridge on the box of a chain conveyor; 8 shows an embodiment of the measuring device with a rotary sensor and a shaft, the type of fixing being shown enlarged in FIG. 9, and FIG. 10 shows a modified embodiment with angle measuring devices on the plow cylinders.
- a cutter arm 6 is arranged on a tower 5 so as to be pivotable about an axis 7 running essentially parallel to the running surface.
- the tower 5 itself can in turn be pivoted about an essentially vertical axis, so that the cutting arm 6 can be pivoted on all sides.
- cutter heads 8 are rotatably mounted.
- FIG. 2 the reference numerals correspond to the illustration in FIG. 1, with the cutting arm 6 now being pivoted in the upward direction.
- the maximum lowered position of the plow or the loading ramp 3 is indicated by the straight line 9 and the maximum swivel position in the downward direction of the cutting arm 6 by the straight line 10.
- the subsequent swivel angle range can already lead to collisions, such a collision depending on the swivel position ⁇ of the cutting arm or the swivel position of the plow or the loading ramp 3 being possible from the zero position.
- the vertical pivoting of the plow or cutter arm is taken into account in the side view.
- the loading ramp can be pivoted relative to the drive plane 11 of the caterpillars, the pivoting being indicated schematically by the straight line 12.
- the cutting arm 6 in turn carries at its free end the rotatably mounted cutting heads 8 and in the projection according to FIG. 4 it can be seen that when the loading ramp 3 is inclined in accordance with FIG. 3 when the cutting arm 6 or the heads 8 are pivoted on the left, the limitation of the pivoting must take place earlier than when pivoting to the right, in order to avoid a collision with the loading ramp.
- the head movement that is usually carried out during cutting is indicated schematically by line 13. The head movement must take place in such a way that the collision with the now inclined loading ramp 3, schematically indicated by the inclination of the straight line 12, is avoided with certainty.
- the loading ramp 3 has an inclinometer 14.
- Another inclinometer 16 is provided on the rigid machine frame 15. The twist, which can also occur when the machine is supported by the loading ramp 3, results here as the difference between the measured values of the two inclinometers 16 and 14.
- two inclinometers 14 are provided on the loading ramp 3 to improve the measuring accuracy.
- a box 17 is connected to the loading ramp 3, in which the chain conveyor is guided.
- the difference between the signals of the inclinometer 16 and the mean value of the two inclinometers 14 results in a measured value for the torsion of the box.
- the bending of the loading table corresponds to the difference between the measured values of the two inclinometers arranged on the loading table or loading ramp 3 and results in one additional possibility of considering inadmissible swivel positions of the cutter arm.
- the box 17 is pivotally attached to the machine frame about a pivot axis 18, so that when the loading ramp 3 is twisted or pivoted, the entire deformation occurs at the weakest part and thus as a torsion of the box of the chain conveyor.
- the torsional stresses are measured with a strain gauge bridge 19, the measured values of the bridge circuit being fed to an evaluation device 20, shown schematically.
- the evaluation device 20 is connected to the control of the drive for the loading ramp or the cutting arm. This design assumes that the loading table or loading ramp itself remains rigid and is not subject to twisting or bending.
- a gimbal and telescopic shaft is arranged between loading ramp 3 and machine frame 15.
- This shaft can also be designed as a flexible shaft.
- This shaft is fixed, as is clearly shown in FIG. 9, on the loading table 3 in a rotationally fixed manner using a cardan joint 21.
- the shaft 22 itself is variable in length and is connected to a rotation sensor 24 via a further cardan joint 23. The measured values of the rotary sensor 24 can in turn be fed to an evaluation circuit 20 shown in FIG.
- rotation sensors 25 are connected to the bearings of the plow cylinders.
- the plow cylinders 26 serve to lower or raise the loading ramp and, depending on the pivoting of the loading ramp 3, there is a different measured value for the angle on both sides of the machine.
- the angle will be measured as angles 1 and 2, respectively the loading ramp is inclined to the machine frame 15, this being expressed by the inequality of the two angles measured on both sides.
- the measured values are in turn fed to an evaluation circuit 20.
- a displacement sensor can be connected to a piston of the plow cylinder 26.
- a different extension length of the two plow cylinders 26 also gives a measure of the torsion of the loading ramp 3 and this dimension can be used with the aid of a corresponding evaluation circuit 20 for control commands or control devices for the swivel drive of the loading ramp or cutting arm.
Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a device for preventing the collision of a loading ramp of a cutting machine with the swivel arm or release tool thereof, with which the relative distance between the top of the loading ramp and the cutting arm or release tool is detected, and if the minimum distance of the swivel drive for the loading ramp and / or is undershot the cutting arm is blocked in the direction of one another and / or a signal is emitted. Devices of the type mentioned have already become known in various training. In particular, from AT-PS 366 773 a collision protection with hydraulic sensors has become known, with which the movement of the cutting arm and loading ramp in the vertical direction to one another was detected, and inadmissible approaches of the components were avoided. Collision protection is particularly necessary with regard to the loading arms arranged on the loading ramp. Such loading arms, which can be designed, for example, as lobster scissor arms, have a relatively sensitive drive which could be damaged by a collision with the cutting arm.
A further design of such a collision protection, which did not work without contact, has become known from AT-PS 342 537. A particularly simple design of a collision protection, as can be found in AT-PS 340 350 and DE-AS 26 39 582, works with stops which collide with one another before the possible damage to the loading arms of a loading ramp by the cutting arm and in this way a Prevent further movement of the loading ramp and cutter arm towards one another.
In cutting machines it is now known to improve the support of the cutting forces to lower the loading ramp in such a way that the front end of the crawler track is raised. This results in a longer support length of the machine and the cutting or cutting forces can be absorbed better without the machine being exposed to impermissible vibrations or shocks. Even with such designs, it is now desirable to use the cutting head of such a machine to make sole cuts or undercuts, and the cutting arm, which can be pivoted on all sides and which carries the cutting heads, should be able to be moved as close as possible to the surface of the loading ramp without this being necessary inadmissible contact of the loading arms or loading ramp with the cutting arm. With such supports of the cutting machine by a loading ramp lowered below the tread plane of the crawler chassis, the loading ramp must now take up a large part of the machine weight and if the sole is uneven, this can lead to twisting or transverse positions of the loading ramp to the tread plane of the crawler chassis.
The invention now aims to provide a device of the type mentioned, in which, in particular in the case of machines which are supported by raising their front end of the machine by lowering the loading ramp on their loading ramp, a high degree of security against collision is guaranteed and the working area of the machine is not restricted. To achieve this object, the invention essentially consists in that at least one sensor for the torsion of the loading ramp or the transverse inclination of the loading ramp to the plane given by the running surfaces of the chassis is arranged on the loading ramp. The fact that the transverse slope of the loading ramp or the twisting of the loading ramp is also taken into account makes it possible to cut deeper into the sole at the point at which the loading ramp lies lower relative to the plane formed by the running surface of the caterpillars, whereas the limitation the pivoting of the cutting arm downwards at the point at which the loading ramp is higher relative to the tread plane of the crawler undercarriage has already started at an earlier point in time or at lower pivoting angles.
In a particularly simple manner, the sensor can be designed as an inclinometer, wherein preferably at least one inclinometer is fixed on the loading ramp and another inclinometer on the frame of the machine.
Alternatively, strain gauges, in particular in a bridge circuit, can be used in a simple manner, a strain gauge bridge being arranged in a particularly advantageous manner on the trough of the conveying means connected to the loading ramp, in particular the box of the chain conveyor connected to the loading ramp, which is guided relative to the machine. Such a design is always of particular advantage when the loading ramp is rigidly connected to the box of the chain conveyor, and the box of the chain conveyor carries the pivot axis for lowering or raising the loading ramp, which runs essentially parallel to the plane of the sole or the running surface of the crawler track . The box of the chain conveyor is usually the component that can be easily twisted, and it can therefore be attached to the box of the chain conveyor in a particularly simple way to measure the amount of twist through a strain gauge bridge.
A further advantageous embodiment of the invention results from the fact that a gimbal and variable-length or flexible shaft is arranged between the loading ramp and the frame, one end of the shaft being fixed in a rotationally fixed manner and the other end of the shaft being coupled to a rotary sensor.
Loading ramps are usually raised or lowered relative to the machine frame by two off-center swivel cylinders. The detection of the torsion of the loading ramp or the transverse inclination of the loading ramp to the plane given by the running surfaces of the undercarriage can be achieved in a particularly simple manner in such designs by having two angle measuring devices, in particular angle encoders, with the frame with the outside the longitudinal center of the machine Loading ramp articulated struts, especially the pivot cylinders, are connected. Instead of an angle measurement, the elongation can be measured in these cases, in particular using displacement sensors for the piston paths.
The invention is explained in more detail below on the basis of exemplary embodiments schematically illustrated in the drawing.
Depending on the position of the
In FIG. 2, the reference numerals correspond to the illustration in FIG. 1, with the
As can be seen from FIG. 3, when the
In the embodiment according to FIG. 6, two inclinometers 14 are provided on the
Verbiegung unterworfen ist.7, the torsion of the
Die Meßwerte des Drehsensors 24 können wiederum einer in Fig.7 dargestellten Auswerteschaltung 20 zugeführt werden.8 and 9, a gimbal and telescopic shaft is arranged between
