Abstract

1. An angled edge strip (7) for separating a floor finish (4) from rising masonry (6), which edge strip consists of a web that has air chambers, characterized in that the mutually opposite outer walls of at least part of the air chambers (11) contact each other in the region (12) of the bend line.

Description

The invention relates to an angled edge strip for separating a screed from the rising masonry, consisting of a web of material having air chambers.

In order to produce impact sound-absorbing, floating screeds, it is known to provide a separating layer between the impact-sound insulation boards laid on the bare ceiling and the screed, which has the task of providing mechanical protection of the insulation when the screed is being introduced and, on the other hand, insulating against moisture penetration to seal. To avoid impact sound bridges, angled edge strips are pulled up along the rising masonry so that the screed is separated from the rising masonry by these edge strips. Air cushion mats which consist of two or three foils, between which air cushions are enclosed in a nub-like manner, are used with particular advantage as a separating layer or as an edge strip, because additional air insulation results from these air cushion mats. It is disadvantageous, however, that such edge strips cannot be easily laid, since the knob-like air cushions are arranged in rows offset from one another and therefore impair bending of the edge strips along a straight line. The same disadvantages occur with other edge strips, which consist of a material web provided with air chambers, for example made of foam.

The invention is therefore based on the object of avoiding this deficiency and of improving an edge strip of the type described at the outset with simple means such that it can be angled without problems along a predetermined bow line.

The invention solves this problem in that the opposite outer walls of at least part of the air chambers abut each other in the region of the bow line.

Due to the abutting of the outer walls of the air chambers located in the area of the bow line, the bow edge results automatically when the edge strip is bent, because in this area, in contrast to the adjoining leg areas, the bending is not hindered by enclosed air cushions. The leg of the edge strip to be pulled up along the rising masonry can consequently be folded up along the intended bow line without having to damage existing air cushions. However, it is not necessary to compress all the air chambers along the bow line, because the removal of part of the air cushion will make it much easier to fold the edge strip. Advantageous conditions are ensured with the usual material webs if the outer walls of at least every second air chamber abut one another in the region of the bow line.

In the case of edge strips, the most favorable conditions are made up of at least two air pockets enclosing them Sheets achieved that are in the area of the bow line along their length continuously.

The bow line, which is determined by an area of the outer walls of the air chambers lying against one another without air inclusions, can already be taken into account in the production of the edge strips, for example by B. in the case of air cushion mats in the bow area, the formation of nub-like air cushions between the foils is prevented. If these air cushions are generated by pulling one of the foils over a suction roller with nub-like recesses into which this foil is sucked before they are connected to a cover foil, the bow region can be produced by covering the nub-like recesses along a circumference of the roller. However, it is also possible to ensure that the foils of the edge strip or the outer walls of the air chambers abut one another by means of a welding process which ensures that the air is expelled from the air chambers in regions during or after the edge strip production. It is only essential that a joint is formed between the otherwise more rigid edge strip legs along the bow line by reducing the number of air cushions.

The subject matter of the invention is shown in the drawing, for example. Show it

  • Fig. 2 shows an edge strip for separating a screed from the rising masonry in a schematic cross section in the area of the bow line on a larger scale and
  • Fig. 3 this edge strip in a plan view.

Der abgewinkelte Schenkel des Randstreifens 7 ist in Fig. 2 strichpunktiert angedeutet.1, impact sound insulation 2 is laid on a bare ceiling 1, specifically on a cover sheet 3, for example a bitumen cardboard. Between the floating screed 4 and the impact sound insulation 2, a separating layer 5 made of air cushion mats is provided, which consists of three foils enclosing nub-like air cushions. The conclusion of the screed 4 to the rising masonry 6 is formed by an angled edge strip 7, which is constructed like the separating layer 5. A knob-like recesses having middle film 8 is covered on both sides by cover films 9 and 10, so that knob-like air cushions 11 are formed between the middle film 8 on the one hand and in particular the cover film 9. Since these air cushions 11 are arranged in rows offset from one another, there are always air cushions, at least in the region of bow lines running transversely to these rows, which impair the edging of an edge strip leg along such a bow line. To avoid this disadvantage, the foils 8, 9 and 10 lie in the area 12 of the front line continuously along their length, so that a predetermined front line is easily ensured along which the edge strip can simply be angled because in the front line area 12 results in much lower bending resistance than in the area of the adjoining edge strip legs. The angled leg of the edge strip 7 is indicated by dash-dotted lines in FIG. 2.

Since the bending resistance with respect to the adjoining edge strip legs is also reduced if not all of the air cushions 11 are pressed together, it is sufficient, for example, if the foils 8, 9, 10 only abut one another in the region of every second air cushion 11.
