In Rollenrotations-Druckmaschinen besteht bekanntlich die Gefahr, daß bei einem Reißen der Bedruckstoffbahn, beispielsweise einer herkömmlichen Papierbahn, durch Aufwickeln derselben eine erhebliche Beschädigung der Druckwerkzylinder auftritt. Wie beispielshaft die US-Patentschrift 2 653 536 (insbesondere Figuren 12 bis 15) zeigt, werden deshalb vorzugsweise jeweils vor den Druckwerkzylindern quer zur Laufrichtung der Bedruckstoffbahn Trennvorrichtungen mit scherenförmigen Schneidmessern positioniert, die beim Auftreten eines Bahnrisses betätigt werden und die Bedruckstoffbahn abkappen bzw. durchschneiden. Die bekannten Trennvorrichtungen sind großvolumig und benötigen dementsprechend viel Raum. Während im Normalbetrieb die Steuerkurve 6 und somit die Spitze 7 zusammen mit dem Walzenmantel 2 und mit dem Hebel 9, der Zugfeder 11 und der Rolle 8 umlaufen, erfolgt bei Feststellung eines Bahnrisses die Blockierung der Steuerkurve 6 auf den Achszapfen 4. Hierfür weist die Steuerkurve 6 eine Ausnehmung 16 auf, in die zur Auslösung des Blockiervorganges eine Klinke 17 einfallen kann. Nach dem Einfallen der Klinke 17 in die Ausnehmung 16 der Steuerkurve 6 kann sich die Steuerkurve 6 nicht mehr mitdrehen, so daß nunmehr lediglich der Walzenmantel 2 und mit diesem das Trennmesser 12 sowie der Hebel 9, die Feder 11 und die Rolle 8 umlaufen. Dadurch kommt es jeweils bei der in Fig.3 dargestellten Stellung des Walzenmantels 2 zum Verschwenken des Trennmessers 12 in der Weise, daß die Schneidzähne 13 gegen die Bahn 5 zwecks deren Durchtrennung gerichtet werden.The pivoting out of the separating knife 12 from the jacket contour of the roll jacket 2 is explained in more detail below. dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Trennvorrichtung (12, 13) in einer in Achsrichtung verlaufenden Ausnehmung (14) des Mantels (2) einer von der Bedruckstoffbahn (5) teilweise umschlungenen, rotierenden Papierleitwalze (1) angeordnet ist, und daß die Trennvorrichtung (12, 13) mit der Schneidkante (13) beim Auftreten eines Bedruckstoffbahnrisses aus der kreiszylindrischen Mantelkontur heraushebbar ist.
