Lock having two locking mechanisms e. g. for a safety deposit box, and of the type comprising a first mechanism consisting of at least one ward (1) which can be actuated by a first key to permit the actuation, by a second key, of a second mechanism consisting of at least a bolt (4) associated with a piece forming for example a catch (5) which is likely to co-operate with said ward (1) to permit the opening of the lock, said lock including a further possibility of remote control whose function is the same as that of the first key, characterized in that it includes a tie-bar (6) which is pivotally mounted through its medial part on an axis (7) of the catch (5) and which is hinged on an axis (8) of the bolt (4) through one (6a) of its ends, whereas the other end (6b) of this tie-bar (6) cooperates with a retractable remote controlled stop (9).

Lock according to claim 1, characterized in that said catch (5) is independent of the bolt (4) and is movably mounted with respect to the lock casing (3) in order that it can enter said ward (1) when the latter has been brought into a position matching that of the catch (5) with the aid of the first key.

Lock according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that said retractable stop (9) consists of a movable, remote controlled stop pin which forms for example the core of an electro-magnet (10), said stop pin permitting, in the retracted position, the retraction of the bolt (4) with the aid of the second key, without translation of the catch (5).
4. Safety deposit box equipped with a lock according to any one of claims 1 to 3.
