Bei einer Anlage mit einem feuerfest ausgekleideten metallurgischen Gefäß (1) mit einer an seinem oberen Ende vorgesehenen Mündung (3) ist die Mündung an einen im Abstand (7) oberhalb der Mündung angeordneten Kamin (4) mittels einer zwischen Mündung und Kamin einfügbaren Haube (9) anschließbar. Bei Ausmauerungsarbeiten in dem metallurgischen Gefäß ist die Ausmauerungsmannschaft von aus dem Kamin herabfallenden Ansätzen, wie Schlackenstücken, gefährdet. Um eine solche Gefährdung zu verhindern, hat man die untere Kaminöffnung mit Blechen abgedeckt. Dies ist umständlich und zeitraubend. Beim Entfernen der Bleche wurde auf die Bleche herabgefallene Schlacke abgestreift, so daß die Schlacke in den frisch ausgemauerten Konverter fiel. Zum Zweck der Ausmauerung mußte man weiters in die Nähe der Mündung transportable Bühnenteile aufbauen, über welche Bühnenteile das Ausmauerungsmaterial vom Hallenkranbereich zur Mündung bringbar war. In Fig. 1 ist mit strichlierten Linien eine Verlängerung 29 der Fahrschiene 23 eingezeichnet, wodurch es möglich ist, zwei Hebezeuge 24, 24' entlang derselben Fahrschiene 23 von seitlich neben dem Konverter 1 bis oberhalb der Mündung 3 des Konverters zu verfahren. Diese Ausführungsform ist insbesondere für einen Konverter 1 mit festem Boden, der nur von oben ausgemauert werden kann, vorteilhaft. Für einen Konverter mit abnehmbarem Boden - solche Konverter werden vorzugsweise von unten her ausgemauert - genügt ein einziges Hebezeug 24, welches nur das Material zum Ausmauern und Vergießen der Fuge zwischen Boden und Konvertermantel in den Innenraum 27 des Konverters bringen muß.In Fig. 1, an
Gemäß der in den Fig. 3 und 4 dargestellten Ausführungsform ist der Behälter von zwei nebeneinanderliegenden Trichtern 17, 17' gebildet, wobei die oberen Öffnungen 22, 22' der Trichter einander flächenmäßig entsprechend dem unteren Ende 8 des Kamines 4 ergänzen. Die Trichter 17, 17' sind symmetrisch zu einer durch die vertikale Achse 19 des''Kamines 4 bzw. der Mündung 3 und parallel zu den Schienen 11 gelegten Ebene 30 ausgebildet. Zwischen den Trichtern 17, 17' ist in möglichst großem Abstand von der Mündung 3, also knapp unterhalb des unteren Endes 8 des Kamines 4, die Fahrschiene 23 für das Hebezeug 24 vorgesehen. Die Fahrschiene 23 liegt somit in der durch die vertikale Achse 19 der Mündung 3 gelegten Vertikalebene 30, wodurch das Hebezeug 24 genau zentrisch oberhalb der Mündung 3 des Konverters 1 in Stellung gebracht werden kann, so daß auch größere Paletten leicht in den Innenraum 27 des Konverters 1 abgesenkt werden können.According to the embodiment shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the container is formed by two
