Abstract
Description
The invention relates to an ejection device for armaments from submarine torpedo tubes with pressurized water, wherein a water cylinder-piston unit is connected as a drive to a torpedo tube and water can be pressed into the connected torpedo tube to eject the armament, which is opposite the torpedo tube Production of a pressure chamber is sealed by a locking ring.
- - strong noise when blowing out the partially released compressed air escaping on the rod and cover side of the pneumatic cylinder,
- - insufficient reliability of the pneumatic valves and seals at the required pressures,
- - malfunctions due to hypothermia of the pneumatic cylinder and the associated valves as well as the interior of the boat, especially with high firing sequences,
- - Pressure increase in the boat room when blowing out the compressed air.
The object of the invention is to improve an ejection device of the generic type which enables simple mechanical elements, an increase in functional reliability and noise reduction and a good utilization of the energy used.
This object is achieved according to the invention in that the water cylinder-piston unit can be driven via a double-acting piston of a hydraulic actuating cylinder arrangement which can be fed at least from a rechargeable hydraulic accumulator and the hydraulic fluid for the ejection process can be connected to the piston side of the actuating cylinder arrangement receiving the piston rod , while a connection to the other piston side of the actuating cylinder arrangement can also be switched on for the resetting process.
This avoids an increase in pressure in the boat room and a strong noise development when blowing out. It is also possible to use a portion of the energy for returning the piston of the water cylinder-piston unit. These advantages take better account of the special operating conditions in the submarine. In addition, long-stroke, low-frequency vibrations in the overall system are essentially suppressed by a hydraulic drive.
In order to enable short firing sequences, it is proposed that a plurality of hydraulic accumulators or accumulator groups can be connected in succession to the hydraulic actuating cylinder arrangement and that the water-cylinder irider piston unit can be connected to one of several torpedo tubes via an actuating element.
Furthermore, it is provided that the piston of the water cylinder-piston unit is provided with a displaceably assigned check valve plate, which seals the piston when the armament is ejected and releases through openings when it is reset.
In order to form a robust sealing arrangement for the actuating elements of the ejection process and for independent holding in the closed position when the pipes are to be dewatered at higher external pressures, it is proposed that the actuating element for actuating the torpedo tube be designed as a pipe slide and have seals in the sliding direction, whereby the front seal in the closing direction has a larger diameter than the front seal in the opening direction.
In order to ensure a versatile use, it is provided that the locking ring of the torpedo tube is controllable or designed as a non-return element in such a way that a water flow inwards between the torpedo tube and the armament to be ejected can be carried out when used as a drain pipe.

IV in die Bereitschaftsposition I geschoben. The ejection process of an armament 20 'shown in the
According to the hydraulic part of the ejection device shown in FIG. 2, it can be seen that the
The
If there is a requirement to carry out a sequence of ejection processes in a short time, then the
Die Wände 64 begrenzen die Wasserkammer 11.In a further embodiment of a
In another embodiment of the locking ring according to FIGS. 7 and 8, the
When the pressure medium escapes through the
