Hierbei ist es auch von wesentlicher Bedeutung, daß die rotierenden Bürsten bestimmten Anforderungen genügen, da auf die Bürsten besondere Kräfte und Bewegungen einwirken. Die verschiedensten, bei derartigen Massagegeräten notwendigen Ausführungen lassen sich leicht auswechseln, wobei darüberhinaus für den Betrieb eine stabile Halterung gewährleistet ist. Ein weiterer Vorteil der Anordnung dieser Bürsten besteht darin daß die Herstellung mit einfachen Formen und Mitteln erreichbar ist. Das in den Figuren 1 bis 3 dargestellte Massagegerät besitzt eine senkrecht angeordnete Führungssäule 1, vorzugsweise aus einem Vierkantrohr, wobei diese Säule 1 oben und unten mit Hilfe von Klemmbacken 2 an einer Halterung 3 aufgehängt ist, die an der Wand befestigt wird. Seitlich an der Führungssäule 1 befinden sich Zahnstangen 4, in die Ritzel 5 eingreifen, an deren Wellen 6 Bürsten 7 angeordnet sind. Zur Halterung und Lagerung der Ritzel 5 in Verbindung mit den Wellen 6 und den Bürsten 7 dient ein Gehäuse 8, das vorteilhaft in der Mitte geteilt ist und zwar in Richtung der Zahnstangen 4 verlaufend, wobei die beiden Hälften des Gehäuses 8 auf der Führungssäule 1 gleiten. Die Kolbenstange 9 des Zylinder/Kolbenaggregates 10 mit Kolben 10' besitzt an ihrem oberen Ende eine Quertraverse 11, wobei an dieser Traverse 11 Verbindungsstangen 12 angeordnet sind, die an ihrem gegenüberliegenden Ende an den Gehäusehälften 8 befestigt sind. Weiterhin ist sowohl oben als auch unten an der Führungssäule eine Befestigungsplatte 13 angeordnet. Hier befinden sich auch Anschlußplatten 14 für das Druckmittel, wobei auf der oberen Platte 13 ein Steuerventil 15 befestigt ist, an dem verschiedene Anschlußleitungen 16 angebracht sind. Weiterhin ist das Ventil 15 mit Schaltstiften 17 versehen, die mit Anschlägen 18 zusammenwirken, wobei ein Anschlag 18 an dem Gehäuse 8 und ein weiterer Anschlag 18 an der Traverse 11 befestigt ist.The massager shown in Figures 1 to 3 has a vertically arranged guide column 1, preferably made of a square tube, this column 1 is suspended above and below with the help of jaws 2 on a bracket 3 which is attached to the wall. Bei der weiteren, in den Fig. 4 und 5 dargestellten Ausführungsform des Massagegeräts sind die gleichen Teile mit den gleichen Bezugszeichen versehen wie bei der Ausführungsform nach den Fig. 1 bis 3. Abweichend von der Ausführungsform nach den Fig. 1 bis 3 erfolgt der Antrieb des Gehäuses 8 über ein Zugseil 24, das am Kolben 10' befestigt ist. Das Zugseil 24 wird einmal über eine obere Seilrolle 25 zum Gehäuse 8 geführt und zum anderen über eine untere Seilrolle 26 zum Gehäuse 8. Zur Führung des Gehäuses 8 dienen die am vorderen Rand angebrachten Zahnstangen 4 (Fig. 5), wobei die Befestigung der Zugseilenden am Gehäuse 8 vor den Zahnstangen 4 liegt. Die Befestigung der Zugseilenden am Kolben 10' erfolgt an einem Haltenippel 30 mit einer eingesetzten Verschraubung 31, wobei zwischen dem Haltenippel 30 und der Verschraubung 31 eine Nachlauffeder 32 angeordnet ist. Zum Abdichten des Seils am Kolben selbst sind Abdichtungen 33 vorgesehen. Weitere Abdichtungen 34 für das Seil 24 beim Herausführen aus dem Zylinder 10 sind an der oberen und unteren Befestigungsplatte 13 vorgesehen.In the further embodiment of the massage device shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the same parts are provided with the same reference numerals as in the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 to 3. Weiterhin wird der Bürstenkörper 7 mit seinem ringförmigen äußeren Wulst 45 über den Rand 46 der Halterungsscheibe 35 gesteckt. Claims (12)

1. A massage-unit comprising a brush assembly adapted to be moved up and down on a vertical guide-column (1) by means of a hydraulically operated cylinder/piston unit (10) and which has at least one rotating brush, which is mounted on a shaft (6) with pinion (5) and rolling down on a toothed rack (4) can be caused to rotate, the piston (10) of the cylinder being adapted to be acted upon alternately by a pressure-medium through a control-valve (15), characterized in
a) that the brush assembly comprises two brushes (7) which are mounted in a housing (8) and that each of these brushes is arranged on its allied shaft (6) with pinion (5),
b) that each of the two pinions (5) engage in an allied toothed rack (4) laterally mounted to the guide-column (1) in such a way that the brushes (7) are driven in opposite directions,
c) and that the housing (8) surrounds the guide-column (1).
2. A massage-unit according to claim 1, characterized in that the piston, arranged upon a piston-rod (9) is secured to a cross-member (11) which is connected to the housing (8) by connecting rods (12).
3. A massage-unit according to claim 1, characterized in that the piston (10') is connected to the housing (8) by means of a cable (24) running over an upper and a lower roller (25, 26), guide-belts (27) being arranged on each side of the housing (8).
4. A massage-unit according to claims 1 to 3, characterized in that stops (18) are provided on cross-member (11) and housing (8), for the purpose of reversing the valve (15).
5. A massage-unit according to claims 1 to 4, characterized in that slots, through which the brushes (7) pass, are provided in a housing-cover
(21) corresponding to the path of travel, the brush-elements being arranged in protective housings (19) comprising a projection (20) guided in the slot.
6. A massage-unit according to claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the guide-column (1) is arranged on a wall-mounting (3, 22) and is adjustable in height.
7. A massage-unit according to claims 1 to 6, characterized in that a mounting disc (35) is secured to the brush drive-shaft (6) onto which the brush element (7) can be pushed, the mounting disc (35) comprising a number of holes
(38) into which bushings (39), made of a resilient material, are inserted, and in that nipples (44), adapted to be pushed into the bushings (39), are fitted to the rear (43) of the brush-element (7).
8. A massage-unit according to claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the brush-element (7) comprises an annular bed (45) which is pushed over the edge (46) of the mounting disc (35).
9. A massage-unit according to claims 1 to 8, characterized in that the mounting disc (35) has a hub (36) for the accomodation of a shaft, a corresponding recess (42) being provided in the brush-element (7).
10. A massage-unit according to claims 1 to 9, characterized in that rods (48) in porcupine arrangement, are secured to the brush element (7).
