Hierbei ist zu berücksichtigen, daß derartige Schutzhüllen häufig in Brieftaschen, Gesäßtaschen usw. getragen werden und daher im Gebrauch häufig einer Biegebelastung ausgesetzt sind. Solche Schutzhüllen dürfen nicht zu biegesteif sein, um sich der Kontur der Tasche beim Gebrauch in gewisser Weise anpassen zu können. Andererseits sollen sie aber die in ihr aufbewahrte Karte gut vor Beschädigungen und insbesondere vor einem Verknicken schützen. A flat rectangular protective covering composed of rigid plastics material for receiving at least one rectangular card, in particular cheque card, automatic dispenser card, credit card and the like, preferably with magnetic strip code, with a receiving space open at only one end of the protective covering for the card and with a gripping opening in one of the plastic panels, characterised in that the protective covering is injection moulded in one piece from plastics material and in that in the two plastic panels there are provided some holding openings (10) for a sliding member of an injection moulding tool, which are as small as possible and are in alignment with one another, communicate with the interior of the protective covering, are distributed over the area of the plastic panels and into which holding pins of the injection moulding tool can be introduced in pairs.
