Abstract

The pull-up device of a pull-up curtain consists of a winding shaft, disposed parallel to the longitudinal axis of the curtain rod, driven in rotary motion and rotatably mounted in bearing blocks mounted on the curtain rod, several mutually spaced winding spools being fixed to the winding shaft. A vertical pull-up band each can be wound on every winding spool, said pull-up band being led through mutually vertically spaced band guidance elements of a loop band which is fastened to the curtain in vertical alignment with the winding spool, the lower end of the pull-up element being fastened to the lower part of the curtain. The pull-up band is of rectangular section, and the winding spool is axially movable on the winding shaft, the flanges of the winding spool being only slightly further apart than corresponds to the width of the pull-up band.

Description

The invention relates to a Roman blind with the features according to the preamble of patent claim 1.

Such a gathering curtain is described in US Pat. No. 2,676,654. There, the winding coils are firmly wedged on their winding shaft. However, this has the disadvantage that if the loop band is inadvertently inclined, the tension elements also run obliquely. However, this is not only aesthetically unattractive with such a Roman blind, but can even lead to jamming of the tension elements on the winding spools.

The invention is therefore based on the object of developing a roman blind with the features of the preamble of claim 1 to the effect that a simple winding of the winding belts onto their winding spools is ensured by simple design means.

This object is achieved by the characterizing features of patent claim 1. This ensures that the elevator belt is always wound up or unwound in a flush manner with respect to its winding spool. This interacts with the fact that the loops support vertical guidance, which run vertically in line with the winding spool.

The dependent claims 2 to 5 are directed to preferred measures which are useful for solving the object of the invention.

The invention is explained in more detail below with the aid of drawings which illustrate only one embodiment.

In a manner not shown, a Roman blind 1 is connected on its upper side to a profile rail 25. The rail 25 is connected to a plastic bracket 26 with which it is attached to a wall or a ceiling. Bearing blocks 18, 21 engage in the lower profile of the profile rail 25, between which a winding shaft 16 is rotatably mounted. The winding shaft 16 is guided out of the bearing block 21 on one side and is connected there in a rotationally fixed manner to a drive pulley 23 which is integrated in the housing of an elevator device 22. The drive pulley 23 is used for positive engagement of a ball chain 24, which is designed as a closed loop in a manner not shown. By pulling on the ball chain 24, the drive pulley 23 is rotated without slippage and the winding shaft 16 is thus taken along.

A plurality of winding coils 14, which are arranged next to one another at a distance from one another, of which only one is shown in FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, are connected in a rotationally fixed manner to the winding shaft 16. Each winding spool 14 consists of two flanges 15, which are at a mutual distance, the winding spool 14 being axially displaceable on the winding shaft 16 in the arrow directions 17. The left limit of the displacement forms the bearing block 18, while the right limit is formed by an adjusting ring 19 which is mounted on the winding shaft 16 in a clamping but axially displaceable manner.

A loop band 2 is fastened vertically to the roman blind 1, which is designed as a conventional curtain band. This has the advantage that the loops 3 are arranged at a relatively close distance from one another, and the user can choose different loop distances. The distances 4 between the loops 3 can thus be selected by the user removing other loops from the loop band 2 when changing the gathering distance and looping in the band guide elements 5 shown in FIGS. 1-3.

The tape guide element 5 shown in FIG. 3 consists of a lower, resilient leg 6 which has a barbed head 7 at the front, a slot 9 being provided in the direction of the body of the tape guide element 5. To connect the band guide element 5 with the loop band 2, the head 7 is guided against the loop 3, the leg 6 springing downward and the barb on the head 7 briefly releases the slot 9 towards the front side, so that the loop 3 in the slot 9 engages and is secured there. The band guide element 5 is thus immovable, but releasable, connected to the loop 3 of the loop band 2 and the band guide element 5 is thus non-rotatably connected to the loop, thereby preventing jamming with connection to the elevator band 13 drawn through the recess 10.

A recess 10 is arranged in the body 8 of the band guiding element 5 and consists of an elongated slot 11 with a recess 12 which is approximately centered thereon. The elevator belt 13 is threaded through this slot 11. According to the arrangement of the slot 9, the slot 11 is also open laterally in order to thread the elevator belt 13 more easily into the slot 11. The slot width of the slot 11 is slightly larger than the width of the elevator belt 13, so that it is easily passed through the slot 11 and thus the entrance described smooth running of the venetian blind is achieved during the gathering process.

The recess 12 serves the purpose of anchoring the elevator belt 13 to the lower part of the gathering curtain 1. There, the elevator belt 13 is connected to the lowest belt guide element 5 by making a knot in the elevator belt 13 and inserting the knot into the recess 10, whereby he creates the upper recess 12 by clamping.

This ensures simple fastening of the elevator belt 13, which can be released at any time by pulling the knot out of the slot 11.

In this case, the elevator belt 13 is received between the flanges 15 of the winding spool 14, the flanges 15 being only slightly greater apart than the width of the elevator belt 13. This has the advantage that with winding coils 14 lying next to one another there is a precise synchronous shortening of the elevator belt 13 when the shirring curtain is raised, thus avoiding oblique wrinkling and canting or skewing upward.

The winding spool 14 is slidably mounted on the winding shaft 16 with axial play in the direction of the arrows 17, so that - if the loop band 2 should be sewn on obliquely, and thus the winding band 13 is wound obliquely onto the winding spools 14 - the respective winding spool 14 in deviates axially from the arrow directions 17 and thus a straight winding of the elevator belt 13 is always guaranteed.

The winding spool 14 is connected in a rotationally fixed manner to the winding shaft 16 in that, according to FIG. 2, the winding shaft 16 consists of a triangular profile into which the winding spool 14 engages with corresponding projections in the recessed grooves of the winding shaft 16.

Only a single bearing block 18 is always assigned to a winding spool 14, while on the opposite side an adjusting ring 19, which is adjustable in the direction of the arrow 17, is attached to the winding shaft 16. This saves material because only a single bracket is used and the adjusting ring 19 itself is very inexpensive to manufacture.

According to FIG. 4, the elevator belt 13 is fastened on the winding spool 14 in that a radial slot 20 is arranged in the winding spool 14 in at least one flange 15. A knot is tied in the elevator belt 13 and is led out laterally from the slot 20 in the flange 15, the knot resting against the flange 15 on the outside. The slot 20 extends - as shown in Figure 2 - to the bottom of the winding spool 14, so that the knot is clamped against the flange 15. The further embodiment shown in FIGS. 5 and 6 shows how a drive motor 27 is integrated in the device.

In the embodiment according to FIG. 5, the drive motor 27 is integrated directly into the winding shaft 16. This has the advantage that the drive motor 27 is hidden behind the roman blind and is attached directly to a profile rail 35, and is fixed via bearing blocks 30 which engage in corresponding profile grooves 29 of the profile rail 35. This makes it possible to move the drive motor 27 by moving the bearing blocks 30 in the region of the profile grooves 29 in accordance with the requirements at the installation site. The power transmission is also considerably cheaper, since the drive motor 27 can transmit its power directly to the winding shaft 16 after corresponding intermediate traction mechanism transmissions are eliminated.

In a manner not shown, the drive motor 27 can be framed at positions 28 by bearing blocks, not shown, the bearing blocks rotatably receiving the winding shaft 16 and the bearing being carried out with the aid of ball bearings or plain bearings.

By displacing the bearing blocks 18, 21, 30 in the region of the grooves of the profile rail 25, 35, it is possible to arrange any number of winding spools next to one another at a mutual spacing on the winding shaft in a modular system.
