Description

The invention relates to a double container made of elastic material for two liquids to be stored separately with an inner container enclosed by an outer container, an outlet nozzle common to both containers and a rotary closure which consists of an outer and inner, each cap-shaped closure part, of which the outer, with the outlet nozzle connected closure part is rotatably mounted on the inner closure part, which is releasably connected both to the outer container and via an axially parallel inwardly directed, hollow approach to the inner container and has closable outlet openings for both containers, the closure pieces of the rotatable, forming free spaces outer closure part are closable.

Such a double container with a turntable closure is known from DE-A 24 44 227, which is provided for the removal of predetermined mixing ratios by means of a corresponding perforated disk and is complicated in structure and therefore prone to failure and cumbersome to handle.

The object of the invention is therefore to improve the known double container so that a high level of operational safety is achieved by a few and simply designed, easily assembled individual parts with less expensive mass production, is easy to use and enables a continuous removal mixture ratio.

This object is achieved in that the closure pieces are designed as inwardly directed extensions of the outlet nozzle, which engage in grooves located in the attachment of the inner closure part, the outer and inner walls of which each have the outlet openings, the closure pieces and outlet openings lying opposite one another in pairs, and that the volume ratio of the inner container to the outer container does not exceed the value 1: 2:

The container according to the invention has the advantage that it is simple and space-saving. It has only a few and simply designed individual parts that are easy to assemble, so that cost-effective mass production is possible, high operational reliability is ensured and a continuous removal mixture ratio is made possible.

  • Fig. 7 shows the double container according to Fig. 6 with the rotary closure open for the liquid in the outer container.

The double container consists of the inner container 1, the outer container 2 and the rotary lock 3 with an outlet nozzle 4. The rotary lock 3 has a cap-shaped outer closure part 5 which is rotatably mounted on a cap-shaped inner closure part 6. Both closure parts 5 and 6 are connected to one another by a snap connection 7. The outer closure part 5 has a circular sector-shaped slot 8, into which a stop 9 attached to the inner closure part 6 projects. The outlet nozzle 4 is fastened to the outer closure part 5 and has at its lower part two opposing closure pieces 10 and 11, between which there are free spaces 12 and 13, and an annular extension 14. The free spaces 12 and 13 form the inlet openings for the liquid into the outlet nozzle 4. The inner closure part 6 is provided at its edge with an internal thread for screwing onto the external thread 16 on the neck of the outer container 2 and has an inwardly projecting hollow extension 17 which also has an internal thread 18 for screwing onto the external thread at the neck of the Has inner container 1. A circular sealing lip 19, which protrudes into the neck of the outer container 2, seals this container to the outside, while a further sealing lip 20 protrudes into the extension 14 on the outlet nozzle 4 and seals the outer and inner closure parts 5 and 6 against one another. In the approach 17 there are two opposite outlet openings 21 and 22 for the liquid in the outer container 2 and two opposite outlet openings 23 and 24 for the liquid in the inner container 1. At the edge of the outer closure part 5 there are three openings 25, which for manufacturing reasons because of three underlying cams of the snap connection 7 are provided in order to be able to remove the outer closure part from the injection mold after injection molding. A plug cap 4a can be used to close the outlet nozzle 4. But it can also be a cancel or Screw closure may be provided.

In the position of the outer closure part 5 according to FIGS. 2 and 2, the closure pieces 10 and 11 close the outlet openings 21 and 22, so that when the outer container 2 is crimped, liquid from the inner container 1 emerges from the outlet nozzle 4 through the openings 23 and 24, when the double container is in the position of use, as can be seen from FIG. 6. If the outer closure part 5 is rotated by 90 °, so that the stop 9 bears against the other end of the slot 8 and the closure part 5 is in the position according to FIGS. 3 to 5, then the outlet openings 21 and 22 are open and the outlet openings 23 and 24 closed by the closure pieces 10 and 11. In this case, liquid of the outer container 2 emerges from the outlet nozzle 4, as shown in FIG. 7. In the two end positions of the outer closure part 5, either the outer container 2 or the inner container 1 is closed, so that only the inner container or only the outer container can be emptied, as is indicated in the figures by arrows. If, on the other hand, the outer closure part 5 assumes intermediate positions between the positions according to FIGS. 2 and 4, then both liquids of the containers 1 and 2 can be mixed with one another in a ratio dependent on the position of the closure part 5.

In order to ensure the function of the double container, the volume of the inner and outer containers must be matched to one another so that the outer container 2 can be crumpled to empty the two liquids without the inner wall surface of the outer container touching the outer container surface 1, since this is due to the closed outlet openings 23 and 24 can not or only slightly deform. For this reason, it is useful if the volume ratio of the two containers does not exceed 1: 2. Favorable values are 1: 3, 1: 4 and 1: 5. In the inner container 1, for example, a shampoo and in the outer container 2 a treatment for the hair treatment can be scin, so that first shampoo and then treatment is dispensed.
