Abstract

A protective circuit points in the power or primary circle a melting element (2) as short-circuit protection and in a secondary circuit has a temperature-dependent counter got up (7), the galvanically from the fusible element (2) separates, but is thermally coupled to it. If the melting element (2) under current, in particular those under overcurrent, heated in the primary circuit, the temperature-dependent resistor (7) due to the Coupling of heat also warmed with corresponding changes change in its resistance values proportional to that the melting element (2) acting in the primary circuit Current load. When certain instantaneous values are reached of the resistor (7), the predetermined operating points ent speak, the secondary circuit switches off the primary circuit or has other protective functions. In this Protective circuit are the fuse element (2) and the one here with thermally coupled temperature dependent resistor (7) galvanically as a separate electrical component separated together on a heat-permeable support (1) made of insulating material.
