Abstract

Mit der vorliegenden erfindungsgemässen Vorrichtung lassen sich Kern und Hülse eines Glasschliffes fest zusammenhalten. Wie in den Figuren 1,2 und 3 dargestellt, besteht diese erfindungsgemässe Vorrichtung aus zwei konzentrisch übereinander angeordneten Ringen (1+2) die durch seitlich überstehende Bogen (5) miteinander verbunden sind. Beide Ringe (1+2) haben je eine Oeffnung. Diese gestattet es die Ringe über Kern und Hülse eines Glasschliffes zu schieben.   • Die besonderen vorteilhaften Eigenschaften der erfindungsgemäßen Vorrichtung bestehen insbesondere auch darin, daß die erfindungsgemäßen Schliffklammern sehr leicht über die zu verbindenden Schliffe geschoben und von diesen wieder abgezogen werden können; eine Beschädigung des Glases tritt bei der bevorzugten Verwendung von Kunststoff nicht auf; ein Verbiegen der erfindungsgemäßen Schliffklammern ist nicht möglich. Gleichzeitig weisen sie gute Chemiekalienbeständigkeit und keinerlei Korrosion auf. Innenliegend im Ring sind Nocken 6 und Nuten 7 ausgebildet, wobei die Auflagefläche des Ringes auf der erhitzten Glasoberfläche möglichst gering gehalten wird, wodurch wiederum eine Erwärmung des Kunststoffes und damit eine mögliche Erweichung des thermoplastischen Materials gering ist. Durch die Nuten (7) kann die vom erhitzten Glas abgestrahlte Wärme, sowie die von unten nach oben steigende heiße Luft, nach oben entweichen, wodurch eine Luftzirkulation auftritt, die einen Hitzestau an den Ringen im Schliffklammernbereich verhindert. Ferner wird durch die bei den Nuten dünnere Wandstärke des Ringes die Flexibilität erhöht, wodurch ein leichtes Auf- und Absetzen der Klammern ermöglicht wird.1, the ring (1) has an opening (3) which is provided for the insertion of the core.
