Claims (10)

2. Device in accordance with claim 1, characterized in that the locking means comprise a guided internally-threaded member (16) provided with a V-shaped portion (19) and cooperating with a screw (12) which is secured against axial movement with respect to the arm (1).
3. Device in accordance with either of claims 1 or 2, characterized in that the locking means for maintaining the shells in the closed position comprise a bolt (3b, 3a) which is similar to the bolt (3a, 3b) forming the articulation and is similarly placed at the opposite end of the arm (1).
4. Device in accordance with one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the arm (1) comprises a tenon (28) for cooperating with a guide (31) which extends along the panel (32).

Device in accordance with claim 6, characterized in that the tenon (28) is rigidly fixed to a nut (27) which cooperates with a bolt (25) whose head bears on that face of the arm (1) which is opposite to the tenon in order to impart to the tenon (28) a movement which tends to apply the panel guide (31) against the arm.

Device in accordance with claim 7, characterized in that the nut (27) comprises a conical bearing member (29) which is intended to be applied against a complementary conical bearing surface (23a) which is made integral with the arm, one of these bearing surfaces being lined with plastic material and the position of the second bearing surface (23a) being such that the bearing surfaces come into contact substantially at the same time as the panel guide (31) which comes into contact with the arm (1).
9. Indicator panel designed for fixing on a support by means of a device in accordance with one of claims 1 to 8, characterized in that it comprises, on at least one of its horizontal edges, a guide (31) formed by two flanges located opposite to each other in order to cooperate with the tenon (28) of the arm (1).
10. Intermediate member for fixing an indicator panel on a wall by means of a device in accordance with one of claims 1 to 8, characterized in that it comprises a substantially flat face (36) provided with hales (37) for fixing in said wall and a cylindrical portion (38) for cooperating with the cavity (7a, 7b) of the arm (1).
