Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a container made of plastic with a neck part, on which a closure cap is placed, in particular for medical rinsing solutions or the like.
In almost all operations, flushing solutions for rinsing wounds, moistening swabs, wipes and the like are used in the operating room and at the operating table. needed. Not only must the rinsing solutions themselves be sterile, but they must also be able to be emptied sterile from the container, which means that the container must be sterile at its pouring rim. So far, flushing solutions of this type have been offered in containers which have a screw closure, in which there is no guarantee of sterility of the pouring point and which is not secured against unauthorized opening in the meantime and reclosing. The application of the rinsing solutions in these containers therefore does not meet the required hygienic conditions. Although the rinsing solutions are sterile themselves, they cannot be removed in a sterile manner in the required amount and time by pouring them out. The rinsing solution comes always more or less in contact with a non-sterile part of the container mouth, unless the entire container including the neck part has been sterilized beforehand by separate manipulation on the outer surface. This procedure, with questionable success, is very costly and at best leads to the aseptic but not sterile removal of the rinsing solution. So far, this has only been possible with the aid of devices, for example lifters or the like. With regard to a rinsing solution to be used for medical purposes, this state is unsatisfactory or unusable, since the required hygiene is not maintained when the spout is expediently poured out.
The invention has for its object to design a container for rinsing solutions so that its neck and the pouring rim are absolutely reliably sterile when the cap is removed, so that the rinsing solution can be poured out sterile over a sterile container rim, without this disinfection the outer surface of the entire container.
This object is achieved in that the neck part is long and smooth on the outside and that an internally smooth surface sealing cap with a transversely divisible jacket is attached to it, the lower edge of which is welded to the neck part without interruption.
A container designed in this way has the advantage that its entire inner surface, including the outer surface of the neck part, can be sterilized in one operation with the sterilization of the rinsing solution contained therein, and the remaining outer surface of the container can remain non-sterile. This is economical and effective. The entire neck part is sterile until the cap is removed by transverse division of its jacket, so that the sterile rinsing solution remains sterile if it is dispensed quickly and in large quantities per unit of time the container is emptied. The few centimeters in length of the neck part and the closure cap in connection with the welding at the lower edge of the closure cap means that - in contrast to a screw closure - the entire area around the opening of the neck part is sterilized and kept sterile for any length of time when the container is closed can be. The closure can be easily opened by transverse division of the jacket of the closure cap. After removing the separated part of the cap, the mouth of the neck part remains sterile on the outer surface and the rinsing solution can be removed directly by pouring out large quantities without the aid of sterile devices. The absolutely necessary sterility of the rinsing solution is maintained. After removing the rinsing solution, the cap can be replaced on the still sterile neck part, so that the contents of the container can be distributed over several operations. Safety and hygiene when using rinsing solutions are optimized by the container, which can be manufactured and sterilized inexpensively.
In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the neck part has at least 1.5 cm below its opening an annular flange on which the closure cap is seated and to which it is connected by a closed extrusion ring. An outwardly directed ring collar can be arranged on the edge of the closure cap, the extrusion-coating ring being placed around the ring flange and the ring collar.
A transverse separation point above the ring collar is expediently used to make the jacket of the closure cap cross-divisible. This predetermined separation point can be formed in a tear strip incorporated into the sealing cap. The tear strip can have a grip tab with a ring, which facilitates the tear process. At the bottom of the cap, a sealing lip is advantageously arranged in the form of a sleeve parallel to the jacket of the cap. The jacket and the sleeve enclose the mouth region of the neck part of the container and the sealing lip ensures the sealing during the overmolding which is carried out in a horizontal position and when the container is repeatedly closed. The length of the sleeve corresponds approximately to the length of the closure cap above the tear strip.
To pull off the separated part of the closure cap, it is expediently rotated. The improved grip required for this is achieved by knurling the outer surface of this separated part of the closure cap.
In the drawing, an embodiment of the invention is shown schematically. The only figure shows a view of a container partially cut in the area of its closure.
A bottle-
In the middle of the
On the inside of a
