Abstract

1. Foundation of precast components for signposts, consisting of at least two identical precast components (1) mounted on top of one another and interlocking vertically, characterized in that each precast component (1) has a vertical continuous longitudinal slot (2), opening out at one face and used for the purpose of holding the signpost (3), as well as vertically aligned tenon-shaped projections (4 and 5). The precast components (1) are arranged in twos, one on top of the other, offset and facing one another. One of the tenons (4) projects into the longitudinal slot (2) of the adjacent precast component (1) and closes its aforementioned face. Other tenon-shaped projections (5) make contact with the face of the adjacent precast component (1) opposite the slot opening.

Description

  • The invention relates to a foundation of prefabricated parts for sign posts.
  • Relatively heavy tubular post foundations into which the posts are placed and wedged from above are known (German utility model no. G 6944910.1). The use of these base stones is very difficult due to their large weight and only makes sense in areas with a solid surface (walkways or similar). In addition, these base stones must be carefully aligned when setting. Ground sleeves made of hot-dip galvanized steel pipe are also known, in which the pipe posts are fastened by means of a locking device (German utility model No. G 7125668.3). They are only of advantage for those relatively rare cases in which tube posts have to be set up and removed again and again.
  • The invention has for its object to significantly simplify the method of laying up and retrofitting sign posts already set up without a foundation. This object is achieved according to the invention in that the foundation consists of at least two shaped stones, each shaped stone having an open elongated slot for receiving the sign post and vertical pins, of which, when the shaped stones are offset from one another, the one pin engages in the elongated slot of the adjacent shaped stone and this limits and further pins on the end face opposite the slot opening surface of the adjacent shaped stone. This foundation block for sign posts can be pushed sideways onto the tubular post. Installed in pairs, interlocked with the pins in opposite directions, the shaped blocks provide a secure foundation against all tipping moments. In conjunction with the usual round steel anchor that secures the post against twisting, this combination provides the stand with optimum stability. If necessary (e.g. particularly large wind attack area), several foundation stones can also be attached and interlocked.
  • The advantages that can be achieved with the invention consist in particular in that, contrary to the conventional methods, the developed foundation stones can be attached to the already erected and aligned posts without problems and embedded in the ground. Handling is easy. The prefabricated foundation parts can be used again and again. There is no loss of material, e.g. is the case when relocating concreted posts. The foundation stones can be carried in small quantities by entertainment vehicles at all times. Pipe posts that are set up without a foundation can easily be retrofitted.
  • An embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing. It shows:
    • Fig. 1 is a perspective view of the shape and manner of attachment of the foundation stones for sign posts, and
    • Fig. 2 is a plan view of two to a foundation toothed shaped stones.
  • The foundation shown consists of two shaped stones (1). Each shaped block (1) has an elongated slot (2) and three vertically directed pins (4, 5). The shaped blocks (1) are pushed sideways in the direction of the arrow onto the sign posts (3) and placed on top of each other. The pin (4) engages and delimits the elongated slot (2) of the adjacent shaped block (1). The two other pins (5) rest on the end face of the adjacent shaped block (1) opposite the slot opening.

Claims (1)

  1. Foundation from prefabricated parts for sign posts, characterized in that the foundation consists of at least two shaped blocks (1), each of which shaped block (1) has an open elongated slot (2) for receiving the sign post (3) and vertical pins (4, 5), of which in the case of staggered shaped stones (1) one pin (4) projects into and delimits the elongated slot (2) of the adjacent shaped stone (1) and further pins (5) on the end face of the adjacent shaped stone (1) opposite the slot opening issue.
