Definitions
- the invention relates to drain cleaners with a fat-dissolving and hair-crushing effect, consisting of an alkaline liquid in combination with light-alloy chips or granules, which have a high heat development when used.
- Common drain and pipe cleaners are solid mixtures based on Matriur.hydroxic, Aluriniurspanen and sodium nitrate, possibly with special hair-reducing additives. These mixtures develop heat when water is added and are therefore particularly effective in removing solid and semi-solid grease contaminations.
- Liquid drain cleaners based on caustic alkalis or alkali hypochlorite are also used. These cleaners work by saponifying fatty substances and have z. Some also have a hair-releasing effect, but they lack the heat reaction required to effectively remove fat blockages.
- drain cleaners consist of a liquid mixture of alkali lye and sodium nitrate in combination with solid Aluriniur granulate, which are sold separately and are only put together in the blocked drain when used.
- Aluriniur granulate solid Aluriniur granulate
- the invention relates to drain cleaners with grease-dissolving and hair-crushing action based on an alkaline liquid and a separate light metal, preferably aluminum, in chip or granular form, characterized in that the alkaline liquid has the following composition:
- Sodium hydroxide or potassium hydroxide are preferably used as caustic alkalis.
- Alkali hypochlorite solutions are commercially available as chlorine bleach with a content of approximately 13% active chlorine.
- Sodium or potassium nitrate is preferred as the alkali nitrate.
- the alkaline liquid is added to the drain with a light metal in chip or granulate form, preferably aluminum grit.
- the resulting heat of reaction surprisingly reaches temperatures of up to 85 ° C; in the presence of alkali nitrate up to 100 ° C, which in connection with the hair-shrinking effect leads to a quick and safe dissolution of graft containing hair and graft.
Abstract
Description
The invention relates to drain cleaners with a fat-dissolving and hair-crushing effect, consisting of an alkaline liquid in combination with light-alloy chips or granules, which have a high heat development when used.
Common drain and pipe cleaners are solid mixtures based on Matriur.hydroxic, Aluriniurspanen and sodium nitrate, possibly with special hair-reducing additives. These mixtures develop heat when water is added and are therefore particularly effective in removing solid and semi-solid grease contaminations. Liquid drain cleaners based on caustic alkalis or alkali hypochlorite are also used. These cleaners work by saponifying fatty substances and have z. Some also have a hair-releasing effect, but they lack the heat reaction required to effectively remove fat blockages. Finally, there are also known drain cleaners, which consist of a liquid mixture of alkali lye and sodium nitrate in combination with solid Aluriniur granulate, which are sold separately and are only put together in the blocked drain when used. Through the reaction of the alkali with the aluminum, heat is developed, but a maximum of 60 ° C is achieved in the drain, which is not sufficient for the effective dissolution of fat blockages. Addition this combination has insufficient hair-crushing effects.
Sodium hydroxide or potassium hydroxide are preferably used as caustic alkalis.
Alkali hypochlorite solutions are commercially available as chlorine bleach with a content of approximately 13% active chlorine. Sodium or potassium nitrate is preferred as the alkali nitrate.
To remove drainage blockages, the alkaline liquid is added to the drain with a light metal in chip or granulate form, preferably aluminum grit. The resulting heat of reaction surprisingly reaches temperatures of up to 85 ° C; in the presence of alkali nitrate up to 100 ° C, which in connection with the hair-shrinking effect leads to a quick and safe dissolution of graft containing hair and graft.
Diese Menge reicht auch in der Regel zur Reinigung eines verstonften Abflusses aus.5 - 15 g of semolina are applied to about 25 ml of the alkaline liquid. This amount is also usually sufficient to clean a polluted drain.
