Bei langen Schwimmbecken, beispielsweise mit einer Bahnlänge von 50 m, weist die zu einem Rolladenwickel 30 zusammengerollte Rolladenabdeckung einen beträchtlichen Durchmesser auf; dieser Rolladenwickel 30 erzeugt einen seiner Wasserverdrängung entsprechend großen Auftrieb, der gegen die Wickeleinrichtung 29 wirkt. Da insbesondere bei einem nachträglichen Einbau diese Auftriebskräfte nicht einfach in die Seitenwand 31 des Schwimmbeckens 32 eingeführt werden können, ist ein Gegenlager vorgesehen, das im wesentlichen aus einem dem maximalen Auftrieb entsprechenden Gegengewicht 33 und einem Verbindungssteg 34 zwischen diesem Gegengewicht und der Montageplatte 35 für die Wickeleinrichtung 29 besteht. In der dargestellten Ausführungsform sind Gegenlager, Verbindungssteg und Montageplatte in Form von U-förmigen Beton-Fertigteilelementen ausgebildet, die vor der Seitenwand 31 des Schwimmbeckens 32 auf den Beckenboden 36 aufgesetzt werden. Es kann aber auch aus einer Stahlkonstruktion bestehen. Die zum Beckeninneren hin offene Seite des U-förmigen Fertigteilelements wird durch eine abnehmbare Wand 37 abgedeckt. Bei dieser Ausgestaltung ist ein nachträglicher Einbau einer Rolladenabdeckung in bereits bestehende Schwimmbecken ohne Veränderungen der Beckeneinfassung und ohne störende Überbauten am Beckenrand ohne weiteres möglich. Außerdem bleibt die Wickeleinrichtung für Reparaturarbeiten leicht zugänglich. Der obere Schenkel des U-förmigen Fertigteilelements, der auch als Montageplatte für die Wickeleinrichtung 29 dient, sollte eine solche statische Festigkeit aufweisen, daß er begehbar ist. Um große Rolladenwickel und damit große Auftriebskräfte zu vermeiden, kann eine zweiteilige Abdeckvorrichtung mit jeweils einem Rolladenwickel an den beiden sich gegenüberliegenden Schmalseiten des Schwimmbeckens vorgesehen sein. Wenn die Wettkampfbahnlänge eines Schwimmbeckens von beispielsweise 50 m nicht durch den nachträglichen Einbau einer Unterwasser-Wickeleihrichtung an einer der Schmalseiten des Beckens zerstört werden soll, kann diese Wickeleinrichtung auch an einer der Langseiten des Schrrimmbeckens angeordnet werden.FIG. 4 shows in cross section a winding device 29 according to FIG. 2 with a counter bearing for absorbing the buoyancy forces of the roller shutter roll 30 arranged below the water level. Abdeckvorrichtung für Schwimmbecken, mit einem aus gelenkig miteinander verbundenen Profilstäben (17) bestehenden schwimmfähigen Rolladen (16) und einer Wickelwelle (15) zum Aufwickeln desselben, dadurch gekennzeichnet , daß die Wickelwelle (15) mindestens in ihrer Höhenlage frei verschieblich gelagert ist und daß der Rolladenwickel (18) außerhalb von Flüssigkeit auf einer Wickeleinrichtung aufliegt, die durch zwei Walzen (2,3) und mindestens ein diese umschlingendes endloses Band (11,12,13) gebildet ist, und daß mindestens eine der Walzen (2) mit einem Antrieb gekuppelt ist.1.
