Abstract

The product, which is produced by spray drying, has a volume weight of 550-800 g/l and essentially consists of non-ionic surfactants, inorganic carrier substances and customary additives. The form of the spray-dried particles is predominantly drop-shaped to rod-shaped. The quantity of non-ionic surfactants in the spray-dried product is 15-28% by weight. The spray drying is carried out at a pressure of 16-30 bar and using a diameter of the nozzle outlet opening of 3-5.5 mm and suspension viscosities of 2000-5000 mPa. The products are phosphate- containing or phosphate-free and can be used as a washing powder either directly or in a mixture together with customary additives.
